North Bend House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10 with two on floor) & WIFI

This is one our two dune access homes we own. The house is a 30 minute drive north of the world renowned Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, and only 10 minutes from the North Bend Municipal Airport.

Our smoke-free custom-built lodge style home is settled amongst the majestic pines over looking the peaceful Maud Lake in North Bend. Our home is completely furnished with rustic log furniture, soft leather couches and a large myrtle wood dining table and extremely comfortable beds. The placement of the home lets you enjoy spectacular views of the lake from almost every angle. Relax outside in an Adirondack chair out on the spacious deck overlooking the calm lake. Take time to start a fire in the sunken fire pit on the patio, made of pavers, while enjoying the beauty of the Oregon Coast. Barbecues just taste better in this tranquil alpine setting.

For the ATV enthusiasts, our house is situated just over the dunes from miles of Oregon beaches. In fact, you can ride ATVs from our driveway to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area less than one-tenth of a mile away. The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is over 300,000 acres of untamed and exhilarating dunes; perfect to make memories that will last forever! The two-car garage has plenty of room for storage. Rent ATVs from nearby Spinreel Dune Buggy Rentals, Rides and Sightseeing tours.

Maud Lake is connected to a larger lake called Saunders Lake. It is an ideal place for fishing. The lakes have both stocked and native trout. There are three kayaks on-site that can be used to explore the lakes or to float around lazily. The lodge is located just a few miles from Tenmile Lake one of the most popular recreational lakes in the area. Please remember to bring your life vests we have only a few varied sizes.

About Bonnie Young

We throughly enjoy the Oregon Coast, riding Quads, walking on beaches, hiking in the forests and sampling the Coastal Cusine!

Bonnie Young purchased this house in 2004

Why Bonnie Young chose Southern Coast

We designed and built our property it with views, relaxation and comfort in mind. To make it a gathering place for family and friends for vacations, and the Holidays. Ample space for everyone for cooking, eating, sleeping and playing games or just putting together a puzzle.

What makes this house unique

We love being able to ride our quads and side by sides right out of the driveway to the dunes. You can't make it any easier than that. Then if you want to go kayaking that is right out the back. 4 World class golfing ranges aren't even 30 minutes away at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.

The local Coastal Towns all have very unique sites to offer!

You just can't get any better than this!

Beautiful Home

  • 5 of 5

We were so pleased to stay at this home that made us feel like we were home. The home is decorated much like ours. The property is so pretty as is the house. This was our first trip to the dunes and the rest of the family rented their second home, Timber Dunes. We were so busy playing in the Dunes we did not get to use the kayaks or fire pit provided. We must come back just to enjoy the property. It is so convenient to ride directly to the dunes right from the house. We loved that the neighbor was so friendly and kept an eye on the house. We found time to dig for horseneck clams and had a lot of fun doing that when not riding on the dunes. Weather was perfect for our trip. We had a wonderful dinner at Captain's Choice in North Bend while on our stay. The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff was amazing. The trip was to celebrate our Granddaughter's birthday and we loved it so much that we can't wait to return. Thank you Bonnie for letting us enjoy your home.

What a wonderful equipped house with a beautiful setting. We were amazed at how the owners care enough to make it feel like home for their guests. We enjoyed the fire pit nightly, the most comfy beds, convenience to the dunes and true comfort of this home. Our guests were too very happy with our choice and we plan on coming back soon thank you for sharing your lodge with us and it was so nice to meet you guys. Bless you for sharing your home with us to make such fun memories!

Thompson Family

This is maybe our 5th time that we have stayed at the Maud Lake Lodge. This home is wonderful with all of the comforts of home and it's in a great location especially for those with varied interests. My husband has been an avid rider since he was a boy so he and other family members and friends enjoy the dunes immensely. I on the other hand do not ride anymore due to knee surgery. But there is plenty of other things to do such as kayaking on the lake, going on nature walks or driving a short distance south to Coos Bay or Bandon or even driving north. I personally love Florence but it's a gorgeous drive either direction. We brought our hammock with us and set it up on the deck. The weather was glorious and perfect for napping in a beautiful outdoor setting. A fun and/or relaxing vacation for everyone!!!

Best place for variety.

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay and one of the few that have option of riding your ATVs from the house onto the dunes. Makes it easy with kids and not having to load an unload quads daily. Safe to leave your quads in the garage and plenty of space for toys. This time we made sure to use the kayak and sit around the bone fire. Thank you Bonnie for sharing your house with us.

This place is always so nice. It's off the highway, close to the dunes. The lake just right down below is great for fishing and kayaking. Plenty of parking for trailers and atvs. Great neighbors. Best of all great owners!
