We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. The owners were extremely helpful and got back with us quickly with any questions that we had. One thing we would recommend would be to have more drink glasses and cooking utensils furnished. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

The location and view from the house was awesome! The check in process is very easy. The home was very roomy! There was 8 of us and we had plenty of room. As far as supplies, there was absolutely nothing. One of the rules is to take trash out, there was literally the garbage bag in the can in the kitchen and that was it. There wasn’t even a garbage bag in the can on the first level and no extras anywhere.

Great location

The location was great. The home was perfect for what we needed. The only down side was there was a few small repairs that need to be made. And the king mattresses could be more comfortable.

We loved every minute here. Waking up to that view every morning, was like a dream. The house was large enough for our family and was modern and updated. We would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation

Excellent beach house. Location was great directly across the street from the beach. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. House was as described and very spacious for our large Family of 10. When we arrived we were short a few washcloths. I messaged and they were very quick to respond and meet our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome get-away!

We really enjoyed our stay. The beach area was all but private. The location is great. I would definitely stay here again. A couple of things could be looked into to make this place simply AMAZING. Water does back up in the shower. And there is no grill. One of the back doors does not lock. Those are simple fixes to make this place top notch.

I would absolutely refer any and everyone to stay with blue swell and this property I know my family will always be coming back!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was perfect. Furniture and carpet floors had stains all over them, rat poop under kitchen sinks, the property was not properly cleaned when we arrived, small prickly balls from the beach access were in the carpet and living room rug that were quite uncomfortable when you stepped on them. Pictures need to be updated. It's an upcharge if you want to use the elevator and there is no patio furniture in the back for outdoor eating. Could be a really nice place with proper cleaning and pest control.

Overall good experience! Would book with Blue Swell again!

The location was great and the view of the beach was perfect! The walk to the beach was not bad at all; however, the code we were giving to the beach access did not work. We later found there was two codes listed in the description. The jacuzzi tub in the master bath did not work. If more than one shower (4 total in the house) was being used at once, the water got cold. The freezer door did not close all the way, which made our frozen food not stay as cold as it should. The ice maker on the fridge would not produce ice. Everything else in the house was good! Everything was very clean and well stocked!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved the location. There were very few people on the beach in this area which is surprising during spring break. Easy walk across the street to the ocean and can easily watch those on the beach from the house. Great front balcony view especially from the top floor.The House could have used a better cleaning before we arrived, washer had a musty smell, dryer took a while to get things dried (both could stand to be replaced). Would love to have had access to a grill.Other than those few negatives, the place was perfect for what we needed. All the teens had the mother in law suite downstairs and enjoyed having their own place together. Good number of bathrooms for the number of people sharing the house. Other than the few negatives above, would definitely recommend.

Nice place, second stay and my last with this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a three story rental. I am a 100% disabled vet and we had stayed there before. During the last stay I saw that the rental had an elevator but was locked. So, for the second time, I sent the rental company a copy of my combat disability and requested the use of the elevator. I was told I would have to pay a $300 deposit for damage and would receive instruction. Upon arrival, the elevator was locked. I text the company and received a call the next day informing me that I would have to pay $300 for the use, not a deposit. The place is nice and a good location, but if you are disabled, be ready to shell out $300 "for the convenience of your disability".

Very SPACIOUS home

The master bathroom whirlpool jets did not work and when you pushed the button for them to come on, a black residue shot out of the jets. Master shower would leak water out of the side and caused the bottom floor trim to discolor. I had to call the maintenance number twice while I stayed in this unit and was on hold for at least fifteen minutes when I was finally connected I was told to call back in 10 minutes. The kitchen did not have a water/ tea pitcher. Utensils in the drawers looked as if they were dirty. Back patios did not have furniture to sit on. Back yard was overgrown and had briars growing up near the back steps. The listing didn’t say that the elevator was an additional cost to use it. Laundry room made no sense being on the bottom floor where there was a closet on the main level of the home. House was spacious and had LOTS of room. Decor was BEAUTIFUL and furniture was NICE. The neighborhood of Sunnyside and Santa Monica was very quiet and not alot of traffic.
