About this property

Hidden Gem in Huntsville (Entire House)

Excellent location. House is located on a historic and quiet street in downtown Huntsville. Just a quick walk to all the downtown amenities and just steps from the river and town dock.

Three main bedrooms with the added option of a murphy bed that turns into a double bed in a small room. There is also a 500 sq. ft loft with an extra queen bed and half bath most suitable for older children or teenagers. Porch has a gas BBQ and eating area. Fenced backyard has hot tub and propane fit pit.

All three lakes can be accessed from the town docks where canoe/kayak and paddle board rentals are available at Algonquin Outfitters. We are also walking distance to Avery Beach and a short drive to Arrowhead Park or Deerhurst Resort. Algonquin Park is roughly a 30 minute drive away. Main street shopping, patio restaurants and a kids playground are all only a couple minute walk away.

We provide a house manual and information on things to do in Huntsville. The house has keyless entry encase you arrive late or we are unable to greet you.

Fantastic holiday house in central location

We ( 2x adults and 3 x 20 somethings) stayed for 8 nights and found the property was perfect for exploring the Huntsville area & beyond, and also spacious when relaxing or needing some downtime. Perhaps the only downside comment was there just being the one shower (although there was a bath available), but we worked around this. Location wise, it was as advertised just a short walk from the town centre where a number of shops, diners, restaurants or bars could be found. The best supermarket we thought was the Independent/ Bullock chain in the north of Huntsville - too far to walk but other ones are closer and walkable. In all we were really happy and would like to return another time and thanks to Lucas and Kelly for all their assistance & promptly answering our many questions by email and also when we were there.

Great Stay

Loved the house, it was walking distance to restaurants and shops. Also very close to bike trails and the water to take a nice bike ride or walk. Would stay there again for sure.

Spacious, rustic comfort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 7 in this well stocked, well appointed, well furnished house. It is a beautiful house with lots of character. Our older kids especially liked the loft room, we enjoyed the spacious, luxurious master suite, and we all enjoyed cooking together in the spacious kitchen and relaxing in the hot tub! The owners were very nice and always responded quickly to messages. The house was very clean and tidy. Although the master bedroom and the loft room were carpeted, they were extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding and towels very clean. The location was fantastic. It is a very short walk to the Main Street with lots of shopping and food outlets, and a stones throw from the playground and the lake with boat rentals available.

Excellent and comfortable

Lucas and Kelly make the house very clean and comfortable for you. It is big enough for seven people and it is located at a very convenient location. I strongly recommend for people to stay here if you are planning to visit Algonquin or muskoka.
