About this property

Peacelands at Jordan Lake

Peacelands is one of the few homes in the area to have direct access to Jordan lake. A short walk down the path, and you will find yourself at a lovely spot on the lake. Enjoy birding, fishing, swimming, boating, or the awesome daily sunset! The bonfire is a guest favorite. Our home is a unique two story duplex. Your space is the beautiful 1,500 sq. foot ground floor home. Centrally located with easy access to Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Raleigh, Durham, Pittsboro, Apex, and Cary. We are unable to accept service animals due to severe allergies.

The space
You will access Peacelands off the private drive, and find yourself surrounded by the wildlife lands of Jordan Lake. This is a beautiful, sunny 1,500 square foot home. The floral futon is a queen bed, and the twin bed in third bedroom is a trundle. There are exterior blink cameras for the doors and driveway. Peacelands is surrounded by wildlife lands for you to explore and enjoy. A lovely 10-12 minute walk, down the trail leads you to a beautiful spot on Jordan lake. The sunsets are gorgeous!

Perfect for a weekend getaway

This property worked perfectly for me and a friend to stay for a few nights. We could easily travel into Durham/Raleigh/Chapel Hill, then retreat again for some peace and quiet. The house was comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. We loved taking the trail down to Jordan Lake. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in the area!

Lovely location to rest away from city noise. The area is close to everything needed that wasn’t in the home. Danta, the host was very sweet and easy to communicate with and was very responsive to my needs. The only I didn’t find in the description of the property was that the host lives upstairs and can be heard moving around and talking when it’s quiet. Something some guests might want to know in advance. Overall a great home and location, with an excellent host.

Thanksgiving at Peace Lands

What an absolutely lovely weekend. It was a great opportunity to unplug, sit by the fire pit and unwind. We walked the trail to the lake and played games. There is no TV and we didn’t miss it. Plenty of grocery options near by. It’s a great little hide-away.
