This beautiful Log Cabin is located high atop Walden's Ridge in North Chattanooga. Upon the bluff it has what many have called 'a million dollar view'. The Sunset's are absolutely amazing and and there are so many wonderful hiking trails and natural beauty along with all the wonderful attractions, restaurants, beauty and charm that makes the Scenic City of Chattanooga so special! Perched 2100 feet above sea level overlooking the Sequatchie Valley, one of the longest valleys in the world. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was absolutely in the clouds well above the clouds even. We were blessed with beautiful weather. Proximity to Chattanooga and white water rafting was more than reasonable. We would definitely stay here again!

Piece of Paradise

We needed a short getaway with no distractions. We celebrated a birthday and Father's day weekend. The owners were very communicative from booking till we left. The cabin was perfect for our needs. Very clean and had everything we needed. The sunsets were the star of the show!! WOW Highly recommend for a couples retreat

Anniversary getaway

We stayed here for the second time, this time for our 10th anniversary. The cabin is clean and quiet. The views are beautiful although the trees have grown up a bit in the 4 years since we’ve been. The hot tub in the back is perfect. You’re 20-30 minutes from anything you’d want or need in Chattanooga. The host is very kind and helpful. No complaints.

Christmas 2023

Three of us stayed here for Christmas and New Years. Our goals were to get as much hiking in as possible and this place is right in the middle of all the great trails. It's maybe 10 minutes to stores and laundry. Plenty of room for relaxing and WHAT A VIEW! The kitchen is supplied with enough pots/pans/knives for us to make our Christmas Eve gumbo. Great communication and even recommendations for good hiking. Easy check in check out. Don't miss the history of the area described in the cabin. Highly recommend this property.

A Great Birthday Celebration

Property was well maintained inside and out. The inside of the cabin felt like home: A cozy living and kitchen area great for entertaining. The upstairs deck provided wonderful views of the sky and town below. The bedroom had a great bed for a good night’s rest with jacuzzi and sitting area for a warm fire. Conveniently located to the areas attractions, this cabin is a win for sure.

Property had awesome view. Maybe thought property was off road more as traffic and other rental cabins nearby. Nice cabin however had to go down stairs to go to bathroom as main level had entertainment with TV kitchen etc.

wonderful!

this was the perfect cabin for our short get away trip. the view was incredible, the drive to downtown was easy, and the hot tub was great. the place was very clean and the owners were great! they helped to reroute us when there was a wreck on the main road and gave a short but thorough run down of the place after arrival. they were easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. but did not bother or bug in anyway. will definitely be back!

Let me tell you, if you want somewhere to stay vlose to chattanooga and want a view! This OS THE PLACE! We woke every single day to the best veiw in the world. I dont care what other property you think you have found. Book this one. YOU WILL NPT REGRET!. This is an amazing place to stay and the owners are amazing and give the best tips about the area. I will stay here EVERY TRIP i make to chattanooga going foward. The veiw and oh my god. The most comfortable bed i HAVE EVER SLEPT IN!. Again. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, pick this amazing place.

A Touch of Heaven

The view from the cabin is like seeing into the heavens. The view will leave you speechless and fill you with a quiet peace. The cabin is perfect and will make you feel very safe and comfortable, as if you were in your own home. The cabin has so much charm, you instantly feel relaxed. Captain Wyn and Captain Kerry are amazing people! They are very passionate about their cabin (they hand built it) and are even more passionate about making sure your time spent at their cabin is unforgettable!

Chilaxing at its Best

Friday and Saturday night was rainy and foggy but made for perfect nights in the hot tub. The views are unbelievable and I could set there all morning with my coffee. Will definitely be going back. Captain Kerry was great to talk with on the phone and very informative.

Always wonderful- our 3rd stay!

We love this little cabin. It’s perfect for two people. This was our 3rd stay- 36th anniversary! Very quiet, private, clean, relaxing hot tub, awesome view, and reasonably priced. If you forget something, there is a Dollar General Market and a BP gas station at the bottom of the mountain. We finally ate at River Drifters, located just 8 miles from the cabin on the TN River. Great food and service! If you want something a little fancy/pricey, try “Top of the Rock” in Jasper Highlands. Fantastic view. We plan to return for another stay at the cabin in 2024!

Great Unwinding Location

After celebrating our oldest daughter's wedding in Orlando, we opted to stay at this cabin enroute home to Missouri. The two days there was relaxing, peaceful and allowed us to unwind. Beautiful view, great hot tub and love the cabin too!

Beautiful view-worth the drive

This small cabin was just right for the two of us. Had everything we needed. Kerry was quick to answer any questions we had. Check in was very easy. Sunset from the hot tub each night was the perfect ending to our busy days of hiking and being tourists! I was concerned about the drive to the cabin since it is so high up but the roads were great! The views are amazing and the location is good for attractions like Ruby falls and Rock City. Also cabin location is quiet and peaceful but not too far to a grocery store if needed!

Way Better Than Expected

My husband and I visited for our 10 year anniversary and the cozy cabin had everything we needed to cook delicious meals and relax together. The view made me speechless. The sunset view was magic. The host was so very helpful with the check in process. The space was clean and the area was great. Theres only one cabin nearby and it had guests while we were there. We could occasionally hear them but this cabin is still very private. I'm so happy we stayed here and we will definitely be back!
