The house worked really well for our party of 14 adults covering three generations. We spent a lot of time in the expansive great room, and used the fire pit, game room and hot tub multiple times. Great value for what we spent! The only minor nits were that there was only one table in the great room, the basketball hoop wasn't in ideal condition and we couldn't figure out the temperature on the first day. Had a great time, and would recommend!
Was here with 20 people for a bachelor/ bachelorette trip. The place was nice and spacious for the amount of people we had. The first complaint I have is that there was broken glass in the yard when we arrived. Second there was spider webs on some of the inside furniture and was a little dusty. Besides those things we had a great time!!
The atmosphere is probably the best description of the experience: peaceful, spacious, private, and family-oriented. Rather than feeling like a traditional hotel, staying here feels more like having your own private Pocono retreat. Sitting together after a long day of sightseeing, enjoying the surrounding woods, and spending time with family creates memories that are difficult to get from a conventional hotel stay. There are, of course, a few things future guests should keep in mind. Because the property is large and surrounded by nature, guests should treat it as a mountain retreat rather than a city-style accommodation. People who prefer being within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and entertainment may find the setting more secluded than expected. Large groups should also plan ahead for meals and groceries because having supplies available at the property makes the stay much easier.
Great cabin, lots of space and beds. We had a family get together and everyone had a great time. Great variety of utensils as well. Good entertainment planning. Overall, a great place for big gatherings.
This was an excellent cabin, communication regarding our reservation was great, and we really enjoyed our time in the area. Would recommend to others and would book again!
Host & maintenance was extremely responsive when needed. House was extremely clean but the listing definitely could be updated. Plus side, living room seating was newer, towels were included, basement bar area and fire pit has nice updates…downside we had dining room seating for 8 guests when the listing shows for 24. There is a lot of minor damage to the property….light bulbs out, cracks in floors and walls, sink damaged, etc…with having to get photos over by 8pm after check in it makes you feel scrambled to assure you aren’t charged at check out. House could use some minor updates but overall it is very clean and we had an amazing time!

Overall, this was a nice house to stay in and met our needs as a group of 27 for a family reunion.
We loved spending Thanksgiving weekend all together in this beautiful house. Perfect for a large gathering and no reason to ever leave the house due to all the fun in the basement and peaceful surroundings. Beautiful memories made and we can’t wait to come back,
We had a big group (25 people) and it was the perfect house for us. Was clean and had plenty of space for everyone. Fun hang out/game area and would recommend this place for others.
The host rarely got back to us unless money was involved, but the maintenance crew were awesome. I text them a few times and they were great. They answered every question, brought us extra linens and pillows and even sent us a YouTube video on how to use the thermostat.
Fun stay at the property with our extended family. Lots to do!

This property has nice size spaces. The bedrooms, bathrooms and common spaces are a good size and accommodated our extended family of 16 well. The back deck spans the length of the house. , The condition of this rental was way below what we have experienced at other bigger VRBO properties. The bedrooms and bathrooms were in very good condition, and there was a new refrigerator. However, the floor in the common area containing the kitchen and dining spaces was damaged in multiple places. The granite counter at the kitchen sink was broken, making the faucet wobble significantly, and the sink was loose and supported underneath only by a strap holding it in place. The transition piece from the common area to the hallway was raised with an exposed nail, and several family members tripped on it. The ceiling fan over the dining area did not work. The downstairs floor was not clean. On the deck, when we arrived, there were 5 missing and two broken spindles, rendering it unsafe for our grandchildren under the age of 5. The caretaker fixed this on the third day of our 5 day stay.
