Perfect home away from home in Basque Country

The location is perfect - right on the river with views of the beach and ocean,. Quiet despite being in Parte Vieja. Spacious rooms. Nice view from balcony. Friendly and responsive owners. If I could make it even more perfect I'd upgrade the internet, which could be unstable occasionally. Nice kitchen but barely used it with the gastronomic delights of Donostia just footsteps away.

¡Estupenda estancia en Donostia!

Perfekt läge i staden och nära till bad shopping och Gamla stan. Jose och Elena är trevliga och hjälpsamma. Skulle gärna bo där igen.

Perfecta estancia en San Sebastián

El apartamento de encuentra situado en plena "parte vieja" de la ciudad, al pie del monte Urgull y frente a la playa de Zurriola. Por lo tanto se encuentra en una de las mejores ubicaciones de la ciudad. El apartamento cuenta con todo tipo de comodidades que nos hicieron sentir como en casa incluyendo unos balcones con preciosas vistas. Cuenta con la posibilidad de alquilar plaza de aparcamiento en el mismo edificio de forma opcional, algo básico si llegas a la ciudad en coche ya que toda la zona es de parking de pago. En cuanto a los propietarios, tanto Jose Mari como su mujer, no pudieron recibirnos de mejor manera asesorándonos desde incluso antes de la llegada. Nos proporcionaron todo tipo de facilidades incluyendo una cuna para nuestro bebé. Totalmente recomendable, si volvemos a San Sebastián no dudaremos en repetir. Nos gustaría destacar que si como nos dice Jose Mari, es posible que ilegalicen el apartamento será una pena. A nosotros desde luego no nos interesan los primeros pisos.

Great location to explore the Basque Country

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful town in spite of the changing weather. The choice of the appartment could not be better. At first due to the welcoming warm-hearted owners who are ready to help at once and the second to its privileged location in the old town between two beaches. Both of them are nearly at the same walking distance as well as the shops and famous pintxos bars. The appartment is well equipped and offers even more than you need on holidays. A great advantage is also a parking lot which is available for renting if you arrive with a car. So highly recommended.

Nice place...convenient location

Jose and Elena were very friendly and wanted to make our stay enjoyable. Which is was. They are truly super hosts. We enjoyed the view from the bay windows. Zurriola Beach on 1 side and Parte Vieja on the other. The kitchen was equipped with more than we needed. Including a fantastic Spanish olive oil. Walked to all the beaches, Parte Vieja, Monte Urgull, Museo San Telmo...all around town. Bus #16 goes to Monte Igueldo, otherwise a rather long, uphill walk. Friendly hosts, super location, comfortable accommodation... .

Great location! Very clean! Safe!

The apartment is in a great location - close to Zurriola beach, the Gros district, the Parte Vieja district and Monte Urgull. Owners are very nice and eager to please. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and building. It was wonderful being so close to many shops and cafes.

Bel appartement , trés bien situé à deux pas de la ville ville

José et son épouse nous ont accueilli chaleureusement, nous ont fait faire un petit tour de la vieille ville en nous indiquant les bars à tapas et restaurants les plus intéressants. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Donostia. Encore merci pour l'accueil

Perfect spot to stay

Our week in San Sebastian at Jose's apartment was perfect in every way. The location in San Sebastian's old town is perfect, and is at the quiet end of the street with a view over Zurriola beach. Everything is within five minutes walk, while the noises of the late tapas bars are not heard, so you can sleep well, hearing the waves. I suggest using the taxi from the bus station, as parking is quite limited in the area, and no car is necessary, since everything is nearby. Tapas bars are plentiful, and close by, and Jose recommended some excellent ones for us. It's near the San Telmo museum, as well as La Brexia market, easy to get groceries for your stay. The apartment is clean, has a lovely kitchen, and all amenities, along with closet space to store everything. Jose is such a gracious host, and was so helpful in communication both before and throughout out travel planning, and he even took us on a short walk to get oriented in the neighborhood on our arrival, including a nearby shop with the best chorizo, ham and cheese. This is an amazing vacation apartment, and one we plan to return to for many years. Wonderful!

Great quiet flat in the heart of San Sebastian

The flat is very clean, comfortable , well equipped, spacious and very close to the city's main attractions and transport links if you want to explore the surrounding areas. The hosts were very warm and welcoming.

Fantastische Lage in einer tollen Stadt

Die Ferienwohnung liegt optimal zwischen den großen Stränden von San Sebastian und der quirligen Altstadt. Der Mercado, in dem sich auch ein gut ausgestatteter LIDL-Supermarkt befindet, ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Gebäude ist sehr gepflegt und man kann aus der Tiefgarage (gegen Gebühr, sehr zu empfehlen) direkt mit dem Aufzug ins Haus fahren. Die Wohnung war blitzsauber und verfügt über alles, was in der Beschreibung steht, u.a. Internet per WLAN mit über 30 mbit, Induktionsherd, Wasch- und Spülmaschine, großer Kühl-/Gefrierkombination, Bad mit Bidet und und und... Es gibt viel Stauraum und zwei bequeme, zusammenstellbare Betten. Einzig ein Pasta-Topf hat uns gefehlt ;-) Die Vermieter, Elena & José, sind unglaublich nett, zuverlässig und stellten uns Gewürze, Öl, Küchenrolle, Putzzeug und viele andere Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs zur Verfügung und zwar genauso kostenlos wie Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Strom. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Perfect Property!!

Perfect location! Very kind host, nothing to complain at all. i am very surprised when i arrived at the entrance of this condo. beautiful and there is concierge. The rooms are anough large and very clean, with the most-updated IH cooking heater. it commands a good sea view, 3 minutes walk to dbeach, 1 minute walk to the old city center. there are many tastey restaurants, supermarkets around this condo. you should to stay at this condo in San Sebastian!!

Excellent place to stay while in San Sebastian

Nicely appointed, the apartment has plenty of room for a couple, the kitchen has everything you could want, the place was quiet and clean, and the building well maintained. The listing gives an accurate representation of the apartment. The location is perfect, being in walking distance of just about everything you could want to see and do in San Sebastian. And Elena and Jose are perfect hosts. They even took me out for pintxos (that's tapas in Basque) and have excellent recommendations of places to eat. And when a problem developed with the toilet, it was fixed within an hour. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. I liked San Sebastian. It is a small city, with some very pretty boulevards, beaches and neighborhoods. Its reputation for good food is well deserved. I would, however, recommend you skip the cement museum (Museum Cemento Rezola). It sounded offbeat enough to be fun, but it was limited, with many of the descriptions not in English and too much hype about the concrete company that built it. I took two walking tours organized by the Tourist Information office, one about San Sebastian's history and the other a food tour that included sample pintxos at three restaurants. Both were interesting and worthwhile.

Soggiorno magnifico

L'appartamento di Josè e Elena è ottimamente posizionato (zona Vieja) i servizi offerti assolutamente buoni e l'ospitalità è unica. Ci siamo subito sentiti come se fossimo a casa nostra e come tale l'abbiamo considerata. Il bilancio è positivo tanto che la consigliamo e se dovessimo tornare a san Sebastian (nostra figlia sta facendo il dottorato lì) la sceglieremo di nuovo........ Bernardo e Lina

vacanza magnifica a San Sebastian

siamo tornati a San Sebastian dove nostra figlia Francesca sta facendo il dottorato di ricerca e abbiamo voluto provare l'esperienza della Casa Vacanze. Esperienza assolutamente positiva, da ripetere e da consigliare. La casa è magnifica, ottime dotazioni , assoluta pulizia e la posizione assolutamente eccezionale così vicino al mare che se ne sentiva il profumo e a due passi dalla parte vieja. Una menzione particolare va a Josè e Elena che ci hanno accolti come fossimo amici più che ospiti. Valutazione complessiva assolutamente soddisfacente B. e L.

A splendid week in Donostia

The apartment is situated in one of the best possible positions in Donostia / San Sebastian. It is modern, comfortable, neat and supplied with everything that’s necessary. Elena and José, the proprietors, were very kind to us and helpful in any respect. All in all: We had a very nice week in San Sebastian and we can recommend the apartment of José and Elena as a very appropriate initial point for anyone who wants to get to know Donostia and its surroundings. Perfect Place for 2 People & a Baby

Jose Maria and his wife Elena are super friendly and helpful. The flat is very quiet, but within footsteps of the heart of San Sebastian. You also have a nice view on the surf beach so you can check on waves without leaving the flat. Also there is a garage, which you have to pay extra, nevertheless super convenient! Top flat, great value!

Très bel appartement,situation privilegiee

C'est la première fois que nous louons à l'étranger via Abritel, c'est aussi la première fois que nous laissons une appréciation mais elle est méritée. L'appartement est splendide et en tout point conforme à la description. Il est situé dans un immeuble de standing, face à la mer et à deux pas du centre historique et des bars à tapas ,sans en avoir les nuisances sonores. Le garage est un plus indispensable si vous êtes en voiture. Jose le propriétaire est très avenant et a l'écoute. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette ville et cet appartement. Nous renouvellerons l'expérience.

Ideale Lage und ruhig

Sehr ruhige und schöne Wohnung mit Blick aufs Meer in edler Gegend. Großzügig ausgestattetes historisches Gebäude nur ein paar Schritte vom Strand, der Altstadt und vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Ein Pförtner sorgt rund um die Uhr für Sicherheit und der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles sehr empfehlenswert!

Es un apartamento increíble. Tiene todo lo necesario y algunos extras inesperados, como el servicio de conserjería o el tendedero en un patio con techo cerrado (lo que en Donosti se agradece). Internet y wifi a gran velocidad. Cómodo, silencioso y muy tranquilo pero en pleno centro. A un paso de cualquier sitio que se quiera visitar. Salir del portal y tener el mar enfrente es una delicia. Y con dar la vuelta al edificio ya estamos en pleno casco viejo de San Sebastián si vamos en una dirección y en el Kursal si vamos en otra. El dueño es muy amable y atento. Muy recomendable. Claramente para repetir.

Beatiful flat in the old part of San Sebastian

The flat is very comfortable, very nice and clean. It has and excellent view of the sea and the situation is wonderful because you are near of all the places to visit in San Sebastian. If you go by car is great, it has parking in the building, this it is very usefull, in San Sebastian it's dificcult to park. The owner is very kind.We had a great stay there.
