Our home is located on beautiful Joes Pond and is available for rent year round. Joes Pond is the biggest pond in Vermont that is still called a pond. The rental of our home includes a canoe and 4 kayaks. There are many opportunities for fun during any season!! In the summer there is: canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, tubing, swimming, sailing, hiking, etc. In the winter you can: snowmobile, ski, snowboard, sled, etc. In the fall there are lots of local events centered around the foliage. Watching the leaves change is an amazing sight!! In the spring there is: hiking, canoeing, kayaking, etc. Our home is located 2 minutes from the VAST trail and has a covered 'garage area' off of the back of the house where you can store a small car or snowmobiles. Our home has a dock that is available for boat storage and there are boat rentals nearby. We are located about 45 minutes from Stowe, 30 minutes from Burke, a little over an hour from Jay Peak, and 50 minutes from the Canadian Border. The closest large town is Saint Johnsbury (15 minutes away). St. Johnsbury has museums, a movie theater, restaurants, and shopping.
Our home is the perfect get away for rest and relaxation. Our lakefront deck is the place you want to be to see incredible sunsets! Whether you never leave the house or you go on daily excursions, there is plenty to do for everyone!

About Kelli Pitman
My husband owns his own company and I am a 4th grade teacher. We have two children and our favorite place on earth is Joes Pond!
Kelli Pitman purchased this House in 2005
Why Kelli Pitman chose Danville
I have been going to Joes Pond for over 35 years! It has always been a place where incredible memories are created. In the winter we ski Burke Mountain--30 minutes away. We also like to snow mobile along the miles and miles of VAST trails near our home. In the summer we water ski and tube on the lake. We enjoy watching the wildlife on the lake, especially the loon couple that return each year! In the fall, we take in the breathtaking foliage that surrounds our home! We spend the cool nights by the firepit and take long walks around the lake. We love the memories created with family and friends at our home in Vermont. It truly is a blessing to us and we seek to bless others with our home!
What makes this House unique
Close to Stowe--shopping, skiing, exquisite dining; Close to Cabot Creamery--nice factory tour and an incredible cheese tasting room; Close to Burke Mountain for skiing and snow boarding; fabulous restaurant--The Creamery--10 minutes away in Danville; all the benefits of being lakefront--swimming, boating, views; on the VAST trail for snow mobiling; within walk of two general stores that carry basics and speacialties; a fabulous place to kick up your feet, relax and make some amazing memories!

Very peaceful week on a beautiful pond
We loved using the kayaks and a big thank you to the owners for helping to arrange bikes to take advantage of the new trail into St Johnsbury.
Our stay was superb. The deck was a wonderful place for drinking coffee in the morning and sipping wine in the evening. We will keep this in mind for the next time we visit this area.
Our Favorite Place to Visit!!!
We have stayed here for two years now and plan to make it three. The house has everything we need. Very quiet, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Great place for couples and larger families.
We spent many days and evenings just enjoying the view of the lake but there is plenty of dining, shopping, and sight seeing locations within a short drive to make the location perfect. From the waterfront in Burlington to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, this location is great for daily excursions.
If you are looking to experience Vermont, you can't go wrong with this location.
Located on the beautiful Joes Pond in West Danville, Vermont.
