Lovely house in a great location.

We had a fabulous week in Flotte, the most beautiful spot on the island. The house is lovely, light and spacious with a good sized pool. The location is perfect for a family holiday, quiet and secluded but within easy walking distance of the harbour. Communication was excellent from start to finish and the daily pastries breakfast pastries were very welcome.

Good but Bad

The property catered for our needs until a problem arose on Thursday when one of the 1st floor bedroom doors jammed and would not open. The mechanism for operating the handle had clearly malfunctioned. A child was in the room when this happened and was trapped. We could not free the door and having found a step ladder in the garage one of our party was able to scale the wall and get in through the bedroom window. We then had to try and get the child out through this window which was far from ideal and dangerous. We called the person who had checked us in at the beginning of the week and she came round at 10pm to take a look. She spent a long time on the telephone to the property owner who told her to take a sledge hammer to the door, This failed. As a consequence, the two minors who were sleeping in this room had to spend the night on sofas in the downstairs lounge. Again far from ideal. The following day we were expecting to be contacted and advised what was going to happen to sort it out. We heard nothing from anybody all day long. Suitcases, clothes and personal belongings were still inside the room. We were leaving early the following morning and had no option than to scale the wall again to be able to retrieve our belongings. The girls had to once more spend the night sleeping on the sofas. The lack of contact or action by the property owner in my view warrants a significant refund of the rental cost paid to him.

vacances familiales idéales

la maison semblait faite pour notre famille ! jusqu'à la chambre à trois lits pour nos trois petites filles ... tout est très bien conçu ,lumineux et chaleureux ; les extérieurs sont également très agréables . La personne chargée de l'accueil est charmante et réactive . le seul bémol concerne la piscine qui était très froide à notre arrivée ,le pisciniste venu sur place ne pouvait faire beaucoup plus et la météo n'aidant pas ,ce sont seulement les 2 derniers jours qu'il a été possible d'en profiter .

Nous avons séjourné à 12, trois générations confondues, dans cette magnifique propriété de la Flotte, parfaitement adaptée à la circonstance et très bien située, au calme, tout en étant proche du centre et des commerces. La maison est lumineuse et chaleureuse, idéalement agencée pour que tous puissent évoluer sans se gêner, des chambres de plain pied , suffisamment de SdB et de toilettes. Très propre, confortable, elle est décorée avec goût et parfaitement équipée. Quant aux extérieurs, ils offrent toutes possibilités pour le farniente , la baignade et les grandes tablées en plein air . Accueil sympathique. Nous reviendrons certainement. Merci aux hôtes!

Absolut wundervoll

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Catherines Haus. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und das Haus ist ein Traum. Perfekte Lage und ein sehr gepflegter hübscher Garten und Innenhof mit dem wunderbaren Pool. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei Catherine und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Cette maison est à la fois très jolie et très confortable. Un grand salon/salle à manger avec cuisine américaine qui permet de partager la vie familiale. Les chambres ont une literie de grande qualité et les salles de bains/douches sont parfaitement équipées. Autant de toilettes que nécessaire pour les 10 personnes que nous étions. La piscine chauffée à été le grand plaisir de nos 5 petits fils qui en ont profité chaque jour, quelque soit la température extérieure en ce mois d’avril. Nous sommes allés nous promener à pieds dans le charmant port de la Flotte et avons découvert en voiture les autres endroits touristiques de l’île. J’ai particulièrement apprécié que le linge de lit et les serviettes de toilette soient mis à notre disposition. Nos enfants et nous avons passé dans cette lumineuse maison une semaine très heureuse. Je remercie spécialement Madame Letalenet et son mari pour leur écoute et leur attention à nos besoins avant et pendant notre séjour.

Amazing house in a beautiful and convenient location.

Amazing house throughout. More than enough room for our two families that stayed for a week. The house was beautifully cleaned when we arrived. The owner had thought of everything that was needed to make it a home from home. The garden was immaculate and the pool was lovely and warm. We were 5 minutes from La Flotte town which is a quaint harbour town where you can access bicycle hire and supermarkets as well as boutiques, restaurants, cafes and the local market which is well worth a visit. I can’t recommend this property highly enough and can not wait to stay again.

Excellent séjour, très jolie maison

Très bon séjour dans cette magnifique maison bien pensée et aménagée avec goût (déco, peintures). Très bon contact tant avec la propriétaire (réactivité avant, pendant et après le séjour) qu'avec la dame qui s'occupe de la maison sur place (accueil, remise des clés, disponibilité). Nous étions 4 couples et 2 enfants de 8 et 5 ans. Nous y retournerons volontiers mais plutôt à 3 couples car les chambres à l'étage sont un peu petites et donc plus indiquées pour des enfants. Piscine et terrasse couverte très agréables, nous avons pris tous nos repas à l'extérieur. Location à recommander!

Excellent, très belle decouverte

Villa très bien située et super bien équipée avec beaucoup de goûts. Encore mieux en réalité que sur photos. Nous étions 2 familles avec 5 enfants de 3 à 6 ans. Literie de bonne qualité. Et si vous avez la chance de croiser les propriétaires à la fin de séjour c est encore mieux.
