The Biggs House - StarHill Farms

StarHill Farms is a rolling 300+ acre setting nestled between Mill Creek and Sandy Creek in Austin County, Texas. It is conveniently located between Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.

StarHill Farms has several restored log cabins, a Ranch House and our Biggs House for guests to enjoy the beautiful wide-open spaces of Austin County!

Our Biggs House is a 1970's ranch style house that has been renovated and updated. A large front porch allows you to enjoy the sunsets. The house is spacious and sleeps up to 7 people. There are 3 bedrooms, all on one floor. The Master Suite has a king-size bed and a day bed. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has two twins that can convert to a king if needed.

There is a full Kitchen with Stove, Oven, Microwave, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, Pots, Pans, and Dishes. There is a Great Room connected to the kitchen. There two Full Bathrooms with a Walk-In Shower in one and tub/shower in the other. The house has central air-conditioning and heating.

All linens and towels are provided in addition to a hairdryer.

Wifi Television is available.

Beautiful and relaxing!

Biggs House was the perfect place for our girls group to stay while visiting the Round Top Antique Show! A short but scenic drive from all the activities. It was so relaxing and spacious that we looked forward to returning every evening. Hope to make staying at Starhill Farms a yearly experience!

Round Top Stay

The house is cozy and comfy with everything we needed. The farm is beautiful and the sunsets glorious. We were not far at all from the antique shows around Round Top, and although we intended to eat dinner out every night, we got take-out and brought it back to the house so we could enjoy sunset and twilight.

Loved the Biggs House

This was a spotless home, well-appointed, comfortable and just perfect for our group. Made friends with the herd of cattle in the backyard too! The products produced by Star Hill Farm were a wonderful bonus too! We were in the area for a private function, so did not get to explore the property much.Would love to return some time though to do just that! The only advice I would give is to not trust Google Maps specifically, or perhaps any on-line map program (esp. at midnight) to lead you back to the property. Once you arrive, memorize the directions! Google failed two of us, but we eventually got there yay!

The Farm!!!!

We love this place. If this listing is booked check out their property website starhillfarms.com. We love to come here, pond fish, play with cows, they have horseback riding and skeet shooting nearby. It’s a close drive to Belville, Brenham, Round Top, New Ulm etc. Its far enough from neighbors that’s it’s secluded and it has the most *beautiful* sunrise/sunset scenes. My 5 year old said it reminds her of a Bob Ross painting. Very well equip house/kitchen with special gift (fresh eggs from the chickens-when available) and custom roasted coffee supplied!!! I can’t say enough good things about them.

Family Round Top Getaway

We had a great time gathering the women in our family for a few days away. House was clean and better than the pictures - well laid out for our group of seven. Make sure to bring extra folding chairs to enjoy the porch and sunsets. The property manager was very responsive and great to work with. We want to return for sure!

The Painted Churches retreat

Marvelous visit to the painted churches. Our stay at Starhill Farms was delightful. Clean and comfy. We loved the porch for morning coffee and late afternoons. Amazing home and delightfully peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend.

Beautiful stay at Starhill Farms

The kitchen is large and open. The front porch and fire pit had amazing views of pond and trees. The front porch was perfect for sunset! Large open kitchen that was well equipt with everything we needed. There is also a grill. The farm is perfect for hiking, relaxing, bird watching and there are tons of activities you can inquire about like horseback riding.

We were there for 2 nights and couldn't squeeze enough of this wonderful place in. STAY LONGER, if possible. The hospitality was great they brought a BBQ pit out at my request and later, Mrs. Frappier even brought us complimentry wine. Excellent stay.
