First time at Silver Dunes for my family for spring break. The facility as a whole is great with the low rise units, courtyard area, and pool. Beach is not crowded as units are low rise so there are less people. Unit 10 specifically was very outdated. Storage in the kitchen was minimal and it did not even have a skillet or pan to cook with. The shower in the master bath was terrible as the shower head constantly moved while you were showering, leading to water getting all over the floor. The couches had cream covers with lots of stains and the living room rug was also dirty. When we went to check on other available units for spring break next year, we were shocked to find that they had increased their price for the same week in 2023 by $1000! Even for the dingy unit we had for this stay. We know families who stay down the road at Edgewater who have bigger, more up to date units and their prices for the same week in 2023 were at least $500 cheaper. Not sure how you can justify almost $3000 a week for a small, worn out condo with little kitchen storage, cookware, and malfunctioning shower.
