It has a fully equipped kitchen with stunning granite countertops and sparkling new appliances including microwave, coffee maker, cookware, rice cooker, cooking utensils and much, much more. The remodeled bathroom and step-in traventine tiled shower is complete with rainfall and traditional shower heads plus a separate dressing and sink area. Unit 1204 contains all the amenities you would expect from a first rate vacation home including central air, remote controlled ceiling fans, recessed and dimmable ceiling lights throughout and a brand new, full sized washer/dryer. It is furnished with a PREMIUM Simmons pillowtop Cal-King mattress incased in a bedbug protective cover; queen sleeper sofa with upgraded mattress (linens are provided); butter-soft leather recliner and HD televisions located in the bedroom and living room (sound bar and full cable). We also provide an Ipod docking station, DVD player (DVD's available for rent in the lobby) and a newly tiled and newly furnished lanai where you can relax and soak-in OCEAN VIEWS and beautiful, romantic SUNSETS! Credit card and eCheck fees are non-refundable. Upfront deposit to reserve our unit includes this fee ($515.00 total). However, when paying in full or your remaining balance with either a credit card or eCheck, the additional fee will be billed separately and is NOT included in quote unless otherwise specified. Option to mail a check for the balance is available upon request.

There are NO resort fees and we do not charge for parking or cleaning (6 night minimum stay). Stays longer than 14 nights include additional, free housekeeping and cleaning.

++ IMPORTANT: We encourage trip cancellation insurance to avoid being penalized for last minute cancellations. Due to our fixed costs, we will impose a $100.00 cancellation fee should you cancel for any reason and no refunds will be given if cancelling 89 days or less from your arrival date including delays due to inclement weather. We are John and Linda Waite and Kathy Roberts, proud owners of this outstanding 1 bedroom, 1 bath vacation property at The Mahana in Maui, Hawaii.

Linda's first visit to Hawaii at the age of 5 was the beginning of her lifelong love affair with the Hawaiian islands and her desire (shared by husband John and sister Kathy) for a piece of paradise.

After numerous Maui vacations, staying at various resorts across the island, our decision to purchase at The Mahana was realized in 2000.

We vacation in our home at The Mahana throughout the year to ensure it continues to meet our high expectations. We strive to make our vacation home the best of the best at this first rate property by continually upgrading and improving it with each visit. From the moment you step through the front door, we believe you will know your decision to choose our home was absolutely the right one!

We got back last night and it was a sad departure. I wasn't ready to leave... none of us were. I have to first say that your unit was absolutely wonderful. When we opened the front door and walked in... my husband's first words were "You've got to be kidding me!" That pretty much summed it all up... your home far exceeded our expectations. We had everything we could possibly need to enjoy this trip. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We are already thinking about going back next year... and staying at your condo! That's the only one we will rent from now on.

Perfect in every way

We just returned from our week long stay on Maui in the Mahana #1204 room. This room was absolutely perfect for our 10 year wedding anniversary getaway. From the minute we walked in the door, we felt "at home" for our stay. This condo unit was so inviting and so well stocked with any/everything we could have needed for our stay. The view from the balcony was breathtakingly beautiful. We had breakfast/coffee every morning on the balcony and ended every night here as well just listening to the ocean. The kitchen had everything we could have imagined. I would have loved for there to be a Keurig over a traditional coffee machine as I have not made coffee in such a long time. The coffee just never tasted right, but that was me, not the condo ;). Should we ever make our way back to Maui, we would absolutely stay here again. This trip was everything we could have wanted it to be and more. This condo unit is all that and more!!!! Thank you SO much for everything. Mahalo~

Absolutely perfect

All the comforts of home. Everything you could wish for, from spice rack to laundry soap to large beach towels, all the dishes and kitchen items you could possibly need. Can't get a better view. Even though we stayed during the last two weeks of April we still saw a couple of whale breaches, saw lots of sea turtles, and many schools of fish - all from our lanai! The sunsets are amazing. The only thing I would improve is to have a smaller table on that lanai. With just the two of us it would have been nice to have a small table between us for that morning coffee and sunset champagne! A big mahalo from Calgary!

Does Not Disappoint

As everyone has said, this is a great condo. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The first thing you notice when you get inside this 12th floor unit is the view. Oh my, Lanai to your left and Molokai to your right. Whales? We were there at the end of February so anywhere you looked, just wait 20 seconds and you will see activity. The condo itself was very quiet, we never heard another footstep (helps being on the top floor). The unit was well appointed with every kitchen gadget you would need and a nice surprise of 2 coffee makers (one of us likes leaded, the other unleaded). The pool area was never terribly busy and the pool itself was lovely, nice and warm. There were ample grills available for barbequing and they were cleaned to perfection each day. Overall great, place, thanks for keeping it so nice!

We Spent Christmas in Paradise

This condo is gorgeous -- everything in person was just as it was described on the site. After my dad passed away over Christmas in 2014, I wanted to take my mom to Hawaii for Christmas 2015, just to get away from home and the memories... and start making new memories. The Mahana was one of my mom and dad's favorite places to stay on vacation, so that's where my mom wanted to go. I did plenty of research, looked at almost every Mahana condo on this site -- this one seemed to me to be the best one. Cleanest, up-to-date, best views, top floor, etc.

And it definitely did not disappoint! We both stayed in the condo very comfortably. The living room is even large enough to host a group -- we had our extended family over on Christmas Day and it worked perfectly. We were there from Dec 20-31, 2015.

The owners of this condo provide everything you could possibly need to feel "at home" for the week -- washer/dryer, beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, coffee maker, blender, wifi, cable, etc. The security keypad on the door is easy to use, so you can come and go without a key. Being on the top floor is so quiet, and just off the elevator. Also the parking lot is super close to the elevator, so it's super easy to bring groceries home.

The most beautiful thing about the Mahana is its proximity to the beach. You really cannot find a resort closer to the water! This means your ocean views are unreal, just unbeatable. And it literally takes only seconds from walking off the elevator to your toes being in the sand. It also means the beach is not that large right in front of the property. It definitely has areas to sit in the sand and play in the water -- and you can walk a long way down the beach -- just know there isn't a ton of sand/beach right outside this unit.

The pool is also on the small side and often in the shade because of how the sun moves over the property and how it sits between the two towers. We actually enjoyed that, though, as the pool was never crowded or loud, and was a nice place to enjoy the weather without getting burnt. And for sun worshippers who want to lay out in the sun, there are plenty of chairs and areas beyond the pool deck where you can get your tan on. :)

Even better, the owners were so responsive and nice, and super easy to work with. I would recommend this beautiful home in Paradise to anyone.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your great review and also for mentioning the pool and beach. Depending upon the time of year, the sun will sit a little higher or lower causing more or less shade. Same thing with the beach I've noticed. After a stormy winter, the beach tends to erode some yet it seems to build up again later in the year. Fortunately, there's always plenty of beach just a little further down. Hope you return again soon! Mahalo!

Wonderful, top floor condo exactly as represented; book this if you can find a vacancy!

My husband and I just returned from two wonderful weeks at this condo (1 bedroom, 1 bath). The condo is exactly as represented in the photos on this site - fyi. Very comfortable accommodations for two people, and using the pull out sofa in the living room, can be comfortable for up to four people.

This was our 7th trip to Maui, and our second stay at a Mahana condo. This condo is beautiful and was perfect for us: a gorgeous view, their comfortable bed, clean, the functional stocked and modern kitchen with everything you need right down to a coffee grinder, beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. Seriously, everything is already here and included. The Mahana also has several grills on property for your use. Also free parking on site. The unit is on the top floor and is quiet; you will only hear the waves below.

We sat on the lanai each morning with our coffee watching the whales breaching and the green sea turtles, sometimes surfers, and one morning we watched a pod of dolphins swim by (probably 300 feet off shore) - wonderful.

We have enjoyed many great sights and adventures: my husband's first Road to Hana experience (my 3rd), a sunset dinner catamaran sail, the shops at Wailea, Lahaina and her various restaurants and shopping. We've also returned to our old favorites: Mama's Fish House (do not miss), Duke's, Merriman's, Leilani's Grill, and Ono Kau Kau.

The photos on this site are true to reality, the owners a pleasure to work with and responsive. We hope we get the chance to visit this condo (and Maui) again soon.

The Mahana-Your Destination!

Many of Maui's finest hotels, resorts and condo rentals are located along the 3-mile stretch of Kaanapali Beach. Beginning at The Mahana is a paved and lit oceanfront walkway for strolls down to Whalers Village. An easy walk allowing one to explore the area, take in the views or dine at neighboring resort restaurants.

Two 18-hole championship courses are nearby: The Royal Kaanapali and the Kaanapali Kai. Many others are scattered throughout the island.

If a luau is on your list of things to do while in Maui, there are many to choose from: the Drums of the Pacific Luau (at the Hyatt), the Marriot Luau, the Sheraton Maui Hotel's Sunset Luau and the Royal Lahaina Luau.

Whaler's Village has a nice selection of boutiques and galleries if you like to shop. There is also the quaint historic whaling town of Lahaina about 6 miles away. Here you can enjoy colorful Front Street with it's many shops and restaurants. You can view the huge Courthouse Square banyan tree, visit the Baldwin Home and Museum or take an ocean excursion from their harbor.

Of course, there are also the obvious beach activities such as sunbathing and snorkeling. Equipment is available to rent nearby.
