Enjoy the most spectacular view anywhere in Kaanapali from this total remodeled and professionally decorated Penthouse Unit 1220. This unit is very possibly the nicest one bedroom unit at the Whaler. This 1 BR 1.25 bath unit has 180° panoramic views of the ocean, Blackrock Cove and panoramic views of Kaanapali. The views are actually much nicer than the pictures depict - This unit is truly a special unit.
Unit 1220 is located on the 12th floor (penthouse) of Tower 1. This unit sleeps up to 6 adults.

Unit 1220 sleeps six (6) as there are four beds total in the unit: There is a Cal king bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size memory foam sofa sleeper the living room , plus a memory foam twin XL and loveseat sleeper in the living area. Amenities include TVs in both rooms and DVD/Blu-ray player in the living room and free cable TV, Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet.
The unit is VERY competitively priced from $228 per night ($228 rate is for last minute bookings less than 30 days out with a minimum stay of 10 nights - see rate schedule below).
All linens are provided fresh and clean. Mid-visit cleaning is provided to guests who stay 10 nights or longer upon request. There is a washer/ dryer located in the unit along with complementary so. Month long stays will receive a weekly clean Upon request. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for an additional charge. There is a $165 check out cleaning fee for up to 2 guests, $195 for 3-4 guests and $225 for 5-6 guests). $195 flat cleaning fee for "book it now" bookings.
The Whaler Resort is one of the premier condominium resorts in Maui. It is located in the most ideal location of Kaanapali Beach (between the Sheridan and Westin Hotels and next to Black Rock and Whalers Village Shops). Everything totally convenient and is in walking distance. Whalers Village has over 100 shops and restaurants for eating or just to browse through, so you and the family never have to jump in the car to go eat or shop....or drive home after dinner. Kaanapali Beach has been distinguished as being named 'Best Beach in the USA' year after year by resort critics.

Whaler 1220 is a perfectly appointed, clean and luxurious unit. Situated high over Kaanapali beach with great views North and privacy (given its 12th floor location). The Whaler buildings are well located close to Black Rocks for snorkeling and Whalers
Village for restaurants. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!
Fantastic unit - incredible views!
Perfect Hawaiian experience! Jim, the owner, was extremely helpful and did everything to make our stay fantastic. Perfectly appointed unit with modern, clean decor that matched the upscale Whaler facilities. Extremely comfortable bedding. Beach chairs, body boards, snorkeling gear all supplied making day one immediately fun without having to do any rental work. The unit has a completely unobstructed view of the ocean/Black Rock as well as the mountains. The extremely large deck made family meal time so memorable. We'll be back!!!
Beautiful view, high-end remodeled unit,tastefully decorated and confortably furnished
My wife and I rented Whaler 1220 2/3/18-2/10/18: I highly recommend this North side, top floor unit in Tower 1. The higher floors on the North side of Tower 1 have panoramic views of Black Rock, the ocean, Molokai and lights of the Sheraton at night. This unit is near the Mauka end of the building (mountain side) but that should not cause any hesitation. It has stunning ocean to mountain views. The North side also has the advantage of natural cooling when the trade winds are blowing, since the trades come from the NE. We had Kona weather the first half of our stay and appreciated the AC at night due to high humidity and South breeze blocked by the building. But once the trades came back we just left the sliders open a few inches at night and that was all we needed. The unit is renovated with high end finishes and fixtures and very attractively furnished, with a comfortable sectional sofa and great bed and newer washer and dryer that work. We have rented many Hawaii condos over the years with aging washers / dryers or dishwashers that barley functioned. These work well. Jim is a thoughtful landlord, and provides everything needed for a great Maui vacation, including beach chairs, good internet for the unavoidable "checking in" to work, and a large, HD TV and DVD player that allowed us to do some catching up to our kids on "Game of Thrones". We loved our stay in this unit.
This condo was great. Spectacular view of Black Rock and coast beyond. Being on the side away from Whalers Village, it was very quiet and even from the 12th floor you could easily hear the sound of the waves. Having Whalers Village just steps away was very convenient for shopping and dining. The condo was exceptional, everything updated and nice. Loved having the washer and dryer. It was the perfect place for our vacation on Maui.

The #1220 condo was just as expected in the description and reviews. The location is perfect and it's also right next to Whalers Village. The beach is really nice for swimming and Black Rock is a short swim away. We will definitely be back! Thanks Jim!
