About Margaret Sue Masters
Hello, I am Margaret Sue Masters and I along with my husband, Michael Masters known as "The Colonel", have revived and restored 4 private cottages and 2 suites for vacation rentals all of which are all located downtown in the historic district of Bardstown. In 2004 we purchased the Chapeze House, circa 1787, in 2010 we converted this property into a Boutique Hotel. We first opened the Bourbon Loft and then in 2015 we added the Chapeze Suite downstairs. We also conduct in the Bourbon Bar 2 Bourbon Classes; Bourbon University twice daily Mon-Sat. We conduct intimate wedding ceremonies and elopement packages. Couples can marry in the elegant parlor or in the formal garden which makes up the back yard. Come experience our "Hospitality Kentucky Style"......
Margaret Sue Masters purchased this Hotel Suites in 2004
What makes this Hotel Suites unique
The best part of the Chapeze Suite is having a private pocket garden right in your back yard.... Sip our famous Bourbon Coffee in the morning or enjoy your favorite Bourbon Cocktail in the evening under the twinkle lights. This property is one of the few in Bardstown with its own private oasis where you can relax and enjoy your time in the "Most Beautiful Small Town in America"...….

We walked everywhere downtown. Property owners went above and beyond to make a comfortable stay. Exactly what we needed.
Very much enjoyed our stay! Great location, beautiful suite, very clean and nice touches (robes, snacks, waters, coffee and bourbon coffee!) would highly recommend!
everything was great
It’s a lovely well-appointed room with everything you need. It’s right on the town square so you hear some cars in the morning but otherwise very quiet. Highly recommend.
We loved the coziness, the location and everything about it!
