This is where my family and I have spent the last twenty-plus years enjoying every vacation day we could squeeze out of otherwise busy schedules, where six children learned to become expert skiers, and where my wife and I have skied, telemarked, and boarded in the most heavenly ski conditions in the world. The master bedroom has a king size bed that can separate into two twins. The second bedroom has an extremely comfortable bunk bed, and its own picture window overlooking the pool and mountain. The living room has two convertible couches, each of which opens into an extremely comfortable twin bed facing the fireplace which makes every evening beautifully rustic. The condo has its own complete gym, a gorgeous outdoor pool, and the largest hot tub in the entire Whistler municipality. We have renovated the kitchen with new fridge and Viking stove and oven.

Located directly on Blackcomb mountain, the only thing between you and fantastic skiing every morning is getting out of bed. We are on the third floor, so two flights directly below is the ski locker, and once you're suited up and ready to go, you open the door and the mountain is before you. Similarly, at the end of the day, the only thing between your aching thighs and the village's largest hot tub is to remember to turn back into the condo and lock up your skis.

This property is perfect for a family vacation or a truly serious ski experience. The ski school accepts children from age three (they've taken all of mine from two and a half, but that's because this is the perfect mountain to teach two year olds to ski, and we did that with all of them), but has day care for the tiny ones too. The adult ski school runs the gamut from beginners to cornice-jumpers and Olympic bumpers. We think it is the most professional yet congenial ski school in North America. There is something for everyone in Whistler, and this condo is our idea of the perfect base from which to do it all.

Did not meet expectations

Positives: This property is in a good location and building, with free and secure underground parking. A gas fireplace makes for coziness.

Overall, the unit seems to have had fairly hard use- carpets dirty, walls scratched and marked. The bathtub and shower caulking is mouldy. Linens for the pullout bed were hard to distinguish from a jumble of blankets and mismatched linens in the closet that we weren't sure were clean. The pullouts are hard to set up.

Plants are dead or dying.

There was no frying pan and the teapot leaked.

We had a great weekend

We enjoyed our stay. It was very much like staying in a hotel... With just more room. We walked up and down to blackcomb base which is not far at all... And it's just another few minutes to whistler village. Overall we had no issues and a great stay.

The hot water (showers) takes a little while to get hot... But hang in there, it will get hot. :-)

My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and there is a small but useable gym as well. Thanks Michael for the use of your condo!

great location!

This a perfectly located ski in/ski out property. Great amenities in the building. The unit is large and bright. It could use some updates, but comfortable for our family who just wanted to ski all day, soak in the hot tub and have relaxing evenings.

Great ski in & out condo but place need some updates

The condo was great for my sister, niece & I. It was a 21 years old birthday gift from mom & uncle & we have a blast. We picked the right week b/c Whistler rec’d TONS of snow. 

I have stayed numerous places in Whistler Village & this time I picked Blackcomb b/c I knew it will be less nosy & yes it was. The condo faced the pool & hot tub & does get noisy during the peak usage times but it just calm down after 8 pm.

Guests services were great & everyone were willing to assist. In fact, one of guest service lady had to show up at the hot tub to request a guest to stop smoking cigar in the hot tub. I named her the guest service lady a nick name “Ms. Cigar Bouncer.” She was very professional & remains very polite.

The condo definitely can use some updates & removed “stuffs” that are unusable. One thing that needed to address ASAP is the refrigerator. It couldn’t stay cold even after we turned to the coldest temp. Milk turned sour on our third days of our stayed & beef spoil after third days of purchased. The freezer was building ice inside which is a signed of it going downhill.

My biggest disappointment was there is only one frying pan which we have to invent new way of cooking.

I would rent the place again if the owner were to update the condo & add additional cooking utensil to the kitchen.

Overall, our stay at the condo was a blast

Owner's Response: The new refrigerator was supposed to be delivered a month earlier but as sometimes happens in whistler, things don't stay on schedule. The new fridge is in and it seems perfect. VERY sorry it wasn't perfect. We try to stay ahead of things. Glad you had good snow and great skiing! Cine back!

Excellent location (ski in/ski out) in upper village. The building amenities are great; lobby is updated, outdoor pool and hot tub are nice. Condo could use updating, but amenities are good, beds were comfortable, unit is spacious and pleasant. Owner was a pleasure to deal with; kind and helpful.

We are a family with 4 young children and we all find the extraordinary place. The price is affordable , the location is perfect and the pool is too great. In addition , M. Davis has commanded us to snow us for our vacation . If we coming to Whislter next year there other place better than the condo Micheal Davis. Thanks again !!!!
