About this property

Lakefront House- The Peacock

I am proud to open my vacation home for your use.
This is a 3 bedroom chalet waterfront on Deer Lake in Wallenpaupack Lake Estates (WLE).
Throw a rock from the back deck into the lake- that is how close you are. Deer Lake is a non motor boating lake within the WLE community. Row your canoe to the island or around the lake. Launch it right from the property.
Large deck is ground level to the lakefront. Relax on the deck as you watch the kids play lakeside. Enjoy your evenings around the fire pit.
House has an open Floor Plan.
First Floor has living room, Dining room, and Kitchen. Fireplace.
Downstairs has a game room with a foosball table and air hockey table.
Upstairs is a split level, one level boasting a masterbed room with ensuite.
Top Floor offering 2 bedrooms.
Master bedroom has a king bed.
One bedroom has a queen.
Second bedroom has a bunk bed- Queen on bottom and single on top
Basement game room has a pull out futon.

Walk to Lake Wallenpaupack, indoor pool, the game room, and Deer Lake Beach, pool, volleyball courts from this location!

Wallenpaupack Lake Estates includes 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool with a sauna, three lakefront beaches, a game room for kids, snack bar, tennis, volleyball, skate park, marina, and many seasonal activities geared toward families. Explore to discover for yourself.
Want to "unplug"? Want to kids to play instead of watching TV? This house does not offer cable TV. Wireless internet provides access to your personal Netflix subscription, etc. if needed.
Good news- We now have AC on each floor and each bedroom!

FAQ's: There are two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboard for your enjoyment.
Life jackets of various sizes are at the house.
Propane Grill on deck (propane provided)
Linens and towels are provided.
Coffee maker is both ground coffee and Pod.

Lake time fun

Beautiful setting for a lovely house. The house has everything you need to enjoy time on the lake. Besides all the water gear, the house has plenty of supplies, blankets and pillows. This was our 4th year staying there. Lots of fun!

Last Minute Lake Trip

Stayed with my family and had the most amazing time! Caught so many fish and enjoyed the kayak and paddle board! The had had everything. The neighborhood is friendly and great for biking or walking around. The views of the lake at sunset are beautiful. Can’t wait to go again!

Perfect location, access to the lake right off the back yard. Great place to relax and enjoy the lake view. Plenty of sports and activities available. Kids already called it best vacation ever !

Perfect lakefront getaway

Beautiful property and house! We especially loved the outdoor fire pit, canoe, kayak, paddle board, and well-stocked games and books in the house. The community has great lakefront access and heated indoor and outdoor pools (with a water slide!) Overall a wonderful stay; would absolutely return!

We spent the days on the water enjoying all the fun water toys. We had friends and family from WLE visit and enjoy the fire pit at night. All in all a perfect vacation.

Beautiful Lake View

House had incredible views of the lake, very relaxing and an overall cozy and welcoming cabin feel. It had everything we needed and very well stocked . We enjoyed kayaking , taking the boat to the lake island to explore, and caught a few fishes fishing off the dock. Great place for kids to enjoy fishing, biking, and amazing amenities such as multiple outside pools, indoor pool, great community game room, playgrounds, and even hiking trails within walking distance to the house. Host was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. We really enjoyed our stay !

Spring turkey hunting

Took family up for a 3 day weekend. Went turkey hunting and had to get my boat ready for summer and pick it up. Wondered little weekend. Place is always nice and clean. Beautiful views of deer lake.
