The greeter met us and detailed all the necessary info/keys/etc. Cute little apartment in a perfect location to visit Lyon for a few days. There was plenty of hot water, washing machine was great to have. Updated kitchen with Induction stove top and great oven. Some noise from the little side street bars/cafes but if you are a good sleeper you will love this choice for visiting Lyon.

Perfect location

The room, amenities and location were perfect. Close to everything and convenient to cool locations. The only issue was the noise from the street. If you can go to sleep easily and go back to sleep easily, I highly recommend this amazing apartment.

The location was great, but with warm weather and no fans, etc, in combination with the location being too loud to leave the windows open- it made sleeping very difficult.

Un super séjour au coeur du vieux Lyon

L'hébergement est très bien situé au coeur du vieux Lyon. L'accueil fut très attentionné et chaleureux. L'appartement était propre et très bien équipé. Tout était parfait. Le point négatif de l'hébergement est le cout du parking (très cher) à prévoir en plus. L'hébergement est situé à proximité d'une place avec cafés, bars et restaurants qui s'avèrent assez bruyants le soir. Il serait bien d'avoir une meilleur insonorisation.

Un excellent séjour

Mes amis et moi-même avons passé un agréable séjour à Lyon. L'appartement était au-delà de toutes nos espérances : propre, spacieux, agréable et vraiment idéalement placé. Tout était là, nous n'avons manqué de rien si ce n'est que d'un tir bouchon, fort heureusement le restaurant situé juste en-dessous de nous fut très accueillant et nous a généreusement dépanné. En guise d'axe d'amélioration, je dirais que pour cuisiner, des ustensiles en bois seraient plus adaptés car ceux en plastique sont trop facilement endommagés avec la chaleur de la plaque de cuisson si vous faites des œufs brouillés par exemple. Enfin, c'est avec plaisir que l'on recommanderait cet appartement et si dans le futur, nous devions retourner sur Lyon, nous reprendrions cet appartement sans hésitation. Au plaisir !

Great location, but you're on your own

We feel we lucked out with location of this property because it worked for us. We were there mid-week, so noise wasn't terrible, but if you are a light sleeper, staying over a weekend or visiting during peak season you will be woken by the bars below or the garbage/recycling bins being moved around and hauled off at 4am, 5am, 6am and 7am. We received multiple communications from the (I'll say) property owner or manger leading up to out stay, but when I tried calling the number provided in the flat I just got a message then a hang up. I tried emailing the address I was emailed from and I never received a response. There are a number of codes provided in the flat manual, but it appeared none of them had anything to do with getting in our out of the building. A better description as to what they are used for would be much appreciated.

Parfait sauf le bruit

Emplacement parfait, très fonctionnel et très mignon. Le seul bémol a été le bruit de la rue juste en dessous en pleine nuit mais rien d'étonnant dans vieux Lyon donc pas trop gênant.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in Lyon, die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und perfekt ausgestattet. Lediglich das Schlafsofa sollte erneuert werden.:-)

Great location but noisy

We had some difficulties getting the key so make sure you have ability to make a phone call to connect with the concierge who will meet you there, we had WiFi but could not make a call so we waited around and had lunch while keeping an eye out for him. The apartment was cute and perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Very noisy because of that and we had to keep the windows open because it was summertime and there was no ac. It was not as clean as I normally prefer but it was acceptable but there was no hand soap and dishwashing liquid was almost finished . Also had to “rationed” the toilet paper among the four of us. Also only had one key and it was difficult for us to come and go separately . The WiFi works great. The staircase may pose a problem for those with limited mobility . Overall a good stay but I hope the owner will hire a better housekeeper

Cozy charm in a perfect location.

The apartment was just like we saw it on the photos. Modern, clean, well-kept. They made really good use of the space, and it had all we needed. The kitchen also had all the basics, including coffee, tea, olive oil, salt, pepper and plenty of plates and glasses. Wifi worked really well, sometimes right out the front door of the building, perfect for waiting our Uber. Airy and bright, light came through several tall windows on the wall facing the street. A couple shutters were stuck but we never needed to open them all. The unit is on the 3rd floor and faces an alley, and it's next to a small plaza with shops and restaurants. We were never bothered by noise except for a couple people yelling early in the morning. Which brings me to the location. Perfectly situated in the middle of Vieux Lyon, the charming old town filled with cobblestone paths, cafes, shops, bouchons and hidden traboules (secret passages: download the "Traboules by Lyon app" for GPS location of most of them). You're just north of St-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral and across Alphonse Juin bridge to the Presqu'île area. Don't miss the morning farmers' market across the bridge. There is also a convenient store in the little plaza next to the apartment that is open 6 am until midnight. We had no trouble getting our keys. A couple days before your arrival they will send you an email asking you for your arrival time, and how to directly contact the person who will meet you. And sure enough, we missed our train from Paris, but told them we were gonna be late, and they were there to meet us on time. In fact, André, the booking manager was always making sure we were doing OK and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay there, and out of the 11 places we stayed at during our long stay in France, this was among our favorite ones. · Keep in mind there is no elevator servicing the building, but we knew that ahead of time, and appreciated the building's history.

Really the apartment is aceptable but the BUILDIND WAS AWFULL AND VERYY DIRTY THE CUISINE/kitchen IndUction NEVER goes on. The washing machine was out of order. We are really disappointed with the apto. Bye Patricia
