Great location central to everything

You could not ask for a more central location than this property. With the metro just beneath you it is easy to move around the city with ease.

The apartment was well appointed and very spacious. Good views from the balcony. Checking in was also very easy, Carine was there on time to open up for us and to explain how everything worked. If you have a car the parking arrangements are very good as well. Would highly recommend this apartment if you are coming to Lyon.

A Wonderful break in the ideal accommodation in Lyon

We have just returned from a wonderful stay and have to say that the accommodation more than surpassed our expectations. It more than matched the description given on the website and was a very comfortable and well equipped flat. From the early stages of booking, the owner Yoann was very helpful and prompt in getting back to us. Likewise we were impressed by the professionalism of Benedicte who met us outside the accommodation when we arrived at 4.30pm on a Tuesday and attended promptly on a Sunday morning to hand the keys back before our return home.

The flat was perfect for our needs. It is situated near the centre of Lyon but not in the absolute busy centre of the city. The Saxe Gambetta Metro station is literally at the door and there are ample shops nearby for all your needs. The main areas of the city including Vieux Lyon and Bellecour were only a couple of metro stops away. Our party ranged from an 11 year old to a 76 year old and all were singing the praises of the apartment for everything from the wifi to the lift! The coffee machine went down a real treat.

In conclusion I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment to anyone and we found absolutely no faults. We were visiting our nephew and stayed only for 5 days so we still have a lot to see of Lyon. It is a beautiful city and a hidden gem which ironically is probably one of its attractions. We will certainly be back to Lyon and hopefully to this apartment in the future.

Spacious, well-appointed city apartment

This stylish apartment is well-presented (a delightful surprise given the shabby appearance of the building lobby). We were grateful for the elevator. We fell in love with the apartment, which offers all the facilities needed to feel at home in the beautiful city of Lyon. Being on the 5th floor, it is light-filled as the photos show and away from the street noise and the windows provide good sound-proofing. The bedrooms and kitchen-dining-lounge room are a generous size and the small study and entrance hall are a bonus. There are plenty of local shops for all grocery needs and a wide choice of local restaurants. It's an interesting stroll from the apartment to Place Bellecour (also easily accessible via the nearby metro line). Gare la Part Dieu is a short taxi ride away or two stops on the metro, for rail links to the airport and to other French and European cities. The property manager was very welcoming and graciously accommodated our late arrival and very early departure times. We felt this would be a good base for a longer stay in Lyon with plenty to explore in the city and surrounding regions.

The apartment is ideally located at the foot of the metro station, close to many shops, La Part Dieu international shopping center, Rhône docks and Lyon city center (peninsula). All trips can be done by walk or by bike.
