Great location

Great location but very quiet building. Apartment is spacious, well equipped kitchen, rooms comfortable. Access instructions well laid out and sent well in advance. Parking space provided is a bit small for mid-size car and located 500m away.

Comfortable and beautifully located

The apartment was well equipped and in the centre of town. Everything was comfortable and convenient. The only negative is smell of smoke in the apartment. It may have come from the cafes outside.

Logement place des dominicains Colmar.

Très bien situé au centre ville même du vieux Colmar. Logement spacieux, cependant la propreté n'est pas optimale (toilettes et coin salon avec de nombreux moutons sous le canapé), manque alèse dans les lits, fuites d'eau robinet de la salle de bain.

au cœur de la ville

Un séjour très agréable au cœur de la ville de Colmar. La situation du logement est idéale. L'appartement est agréable, silencieux et on s'y sent bien. Son accès le jour de l'arrivée nous a paru compliqué. Ce serait un plus d'ajouter quelques précisions pour trouver l'entrée de l'immeuble et des photos un peu plus récentes. Par contre la place de parking est vrai un plus à la location. Autre point fort: la décoration est charmante et soignée. Nous n'avons pas eu assez d'une semaine pour faire le tour de l'Alsace bien sûr mais nous sommes repartis avec des souvenirs variés de beaux villages, de belles randos et de festivités. Très beau séjour.

Proximité, propreté.

L’accès à l’appartement est bien détaillé avant notre arrivée, il correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos présentées sur le site, la proximité dans le vieux Colmar est parfaite et le parking à disposition à 300m bien sécurisé. Ça été un plaisir de loger dans cet appartement!

L’appartement est vraiment bien placé pour visiter le centre historique de Colmar. L’appartement est fonctionnel et confortable. L’endroit est calme malgré la place qui est aux pieds.

clefs du parking a chercher dans le logement

C'est toujours le grand cafouillage pour les clés (arrivée et départ). Pendant le marché de Noël, il est impossible de stationner au plus près de l'appartement pour déposer les encombrants bagages de 5 personnes. Après un voyage de 8 heures, on doit chercher la clé au logement PUIS aller au garage décharger les bagages PUIS REVENIR à l'appartement (10 minutes à pied....) en traversant la cohue du marché de Noël en cette fin d'après-midi !!! Pas mieux pour le départ, c'est le même scénario, la cohue en moins mais des bagages forcément plus lourd qu'à l'arrivée. Une fois le coffre de voiture plein, IL FAUT REVENIR au logement déposer les clés sur la table !?!? Et tant pis, le jour du départ, pour les étourdis qui ont claqué la porte de l'appartement avec le trousseau de clé à l'intérieur avant d'aller chercher leur voiture au garage. QUE DE TEMPS PERDU !!!! EN TOUTE LOGIQUE, la boîte à clé sécurisée devrait se situer au niveau du GARAGE et nulle part ailleurs.

Wonderful apartment in Colmar

This is a wonderful apartment. Comfortable beds, plenty of room to relax. Location is very good, with vendors selling different items several days of the week. Washing machine works well. No clothes dryer, but there are drying racks in the utility cupboard. Bring/buy your own spices and oils for cooking in. Or, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from for eating out. We arrived by train, and walked about 15 minutes over flat ground to reach the apartment. The check-in process was easy: unlock the outer door by a phone call to a special number, take elevator to the upper floor, then access keys inside a lock-box using a numeric code provided in your instructions. After that, your keys will open the apartment and outer door for the rest of your stay. Nearby, there is a little electric-powered bus that is free to ride, so you can hop-on-hop-off at its various stops. Make reservations for boat rides in little Venice. We stayed 3 nights, and hated to leave! The next time we visit the area, I would like to have a car for at least one day in order to also visit some of the hilltop villages we saw from the train as we arrived in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Très bien situé,et bien équipé cet appartement serait encore plus agréable si les vitres étaient propres et surtout si les lits étaient équipés d'oreillers dignes de ce nom et non pas de simples housses garnies de morceaux de mousses synthétiques.Quel dommage ! Pour une location de ce niveau on s'attend à un autre niveau de confort .

Great location, difficult to initially get there

This apartment is very well located in the old town of Colmar. The apartment is well appointed, but only has one bathroom (in aggregate) instead of 1.5 - there is only one toilet. We had difficulties initially gaining access because there were local road closures in town that Google Maps did not reflect in providing driving directions. Then, in addition, the key is picked up in one place, the parking spot is in a second, and the apartment is in a third. All three of these locations are not in close proximity. This would be a great place for a single couple who are arriving by rail or other public transport. Our frustrations were due to the great difficulty we experienced upon arrival.

Quelques points à améliorer....

Logement agréable et très bien situé, au cœur du marché de Noël. L 'ascenseur est bien apprécié (surtout quand on revient chargé du garage). Le parking se trouve à 300 mètres.... Donc il faut porter bagages et courses parfois lourds...... Un petit chariot mis à disposition serait un plus. La télécommande de la porte garage peine parfois à fonctionner, ce serait mieux d'utiliser un digicode. Le dernier jour, il ne faut pas oublier de sortir le véhicule du garage AVANT de déposer les clés et télécommande sur la table du séjour et de tirer la porte !! Un trousseau de 4 clés de couleur différente serait bien pratique.

Wir haben uns mit drei Personen sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser tollen Ferienwohnung. Lediglich ein Handlauf zwischen Eingangsbereich und Wohnbereich wäre noch zu empfehlen. Sonst sind die Wände in dem Bereich bald schwarz wegen der Hände.

Wonderful apartment in the center of such a charming city

Three of us rented this apartment for 6 days. It was the perfect amount of space to be able to stretch out a little and it was lovely to have a kitchen table to sit around to have wine and extraordinary meats, chutneys, and cheeses from the area. The apartment served is extraordinarily well. It was so nice to have a washer, fridge, toaster, freezer, in a pretty large space. The sitting area was very comfortable. The elevator was pretty large for a European city. This was a more modern facility. The bedrooms both as windows. Underneath the windows was a small creek that was magnificent to listen to as you went to sleep. You can also hear the bells in the distance through the night. It was very faint, so lovely. The location is perfect, for being in the center of town, I found it easy to sleep, the noise was not an issue. You go downstairs and voila, you are right in the mix. There were many shops, restaurants, and food stores right as you walked out of the apartment. We were very pleased!

Charming updated apartment in the historic area

Great location, beautifully furnished apartment, very spacious for the four of us. Perfect balance of old world charm with contemporary look. Can walk to all historic sites, restaurants, grocery store, patisseries, bakeries, markets, etc. Especially loved cooking dinner and relaxing in the apartment after a long day of touring. Cotoon recommended Jean of JFJ Services for a private tour of the surrounding villages and castle. He was excellent and we highly recommend him. Even though the weather was not the best, he made the adventure wonderful with his knowledge of the area and he was completely accommodating with requests. An absolute delight! We have now rented two apartments from Cotoon and would also highly recommend them; they were very responsive to our questions throughout our stay and very helpful with information. The apartments were exceptionally well maintained and the bedding was very comfortable. Colmar was beautiful!
