Skøn studiolejlighed i gåafstand til 2nd Street restauranter og butikker og lige ved cykelstien. Beliggende 1. 2 miles til bugten stranden og 2 miles til havet, apt. har en Queen-size Murphy-seng til maksimal plads, himmellys for masser af naturligt lys, DirecTV, WiFi, et udendørs bruser til brusebad efter stranden og adgang til din egen vaskemaskine og tørretumbler i garagen. Ingen komfur men masser af faciliteter til lette middage. (Men med så mange gode restauranter i nærheden, hvorfor skulle du så gøre det ?!) .

Great location had all the amenities that you need close to the bike path and the ability to store your bikes and bike hitch in the garage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd stay at this property through BHHS PenFed. It is within walking distance of the town of Lewes (3/4 mile) and makes this area very accessible. The place is always clean and ready for our visit. It is filled with the cute beach decor you'd hope for. We bring our dog, who loves the place and area. It has a Murphy bed that you have to open and close each day, and its mattress is a little soft, but manageable. Hopefully, we'll be back again and again! Also, the folks at PenFed could not be nicer or easier to work with.

Perfect getaway

This is a cute and comfortable cottage for a short getaway within walking distance to Lewes. I was worried about sleeping on a Murphy bed but it was very comfortable. I’d rent again.

Elegant little apartment in a quiet area near EVERYTHING!

Walking distance to the market, downtown, concerts, restaurants. Amenities were perfect, clean , and all just as represented. Met the owners who were lovely and gracious. Our dogs even seemed mostly relaxed and comfortable.

Pet Friendly Beach Cottage

Great little rental property! It was great for us as it was pet friendly and we brought our pup along for his first beach trip. Other than some dust accumulation the property was clean and well managed, they had everything you needed on site - washer, dryer, kitchenette. It is in walking distance of downtown Lewes - shopping and restaurants. We had a great time.

What a Gem!

This property is a great find and what a gem! Absolutely cute as a button, and has everything you need for your stay. The location is excellent! Upon arrival, the owner greeted us by leaving her favorite cold beer in the refrigerator from the local Big Oyster Brewery. The brewery is fantastic and has great food. This property was very convenient if you are traveling with your dog(s) and the neighborhood is very friendly with great areas for your dog. I HIGHLY recommend this gem, and will be back.

Great location, clean studio and pet friendly

We spent three nights in this studio apartment. It was as advertised. Located above a detached garage of the owners' home. Very quiet. Bed was firm yet comfortable. The owners even offered us a dog bowl if we had forgotten. Walked 10 min or so into 'downtown' Lewes. We would stay here again.

Cute apartment in back of owner's home

The efficiency apartment is on top of a carafe in the rear of the main house. There is not a lot of outdoor privacy or parking as this is shared with owners. However, the apartment was clean, cute & comfortable - the Murphy bed did surprise me as comfortable. The town of Lewes is approximately a 15min walk & the beach is a short drive.

Lewes Labor Day Weekend

We arrived after hours at the rental agency, sadly our keys and rental packet were not available. We called and received an immediate response. Our over the garage apartment looked exactly like the pictures, we made the bed and went to grab a late night bite. The location was perfect! We rode our bikes to the beach, the trails and Rehoboth. The access to the garage for bike storage and the washer and dryer was so convenient. We will be back!

Overpriced

Decent location, small studio right under the garage roof, which means the a/c has to run all the time and it's loud, as well as the fridge, which is right near the bed, making it impossible to sleep without earplugs. Pet fur was everywhere and it smelled.

Booking coordination headache

First of all the property is amazing everything was five stars there. The reason for the not so good review is the challenging communication that was an anticipated on my part when booking. This booking is managed by Berkshire Hathaway and the process for payment, check in, check out, and amenities like linens etc. was a headache. Just be advised that if you book through Vrbo you won’t be coordinating everything through VRBO it will all be done by a third-party through email, including payments.

Lewes Done Right

This is our second stay! We recently stayed at this beautiful beach rental with an outside shower and I have to say, it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we feel like we are at home. The outside shower was a game-changer for us. After a long day at the beach, it was so refreshing to rinse off under the warm water and feel the sun on our skin. It added an extra touch of luxury to our vacation and made us feel like we were truly living the beach life. The rental itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary appliances and utensils, and the murphy bed makes it so cozy and inviting. We especially loved the outdoor seating area where we could enjoy meals al fresco and enjoy the peace amd quiet. The location of the rental was perfect - just a few blocks on our bicycles to the shops, restaurants, and attractions. We loved being able to easily access everything we needed without having to drive. We love Lewes!!!

Perfect Lewes location

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The location is ideal. Just a half mile to downtown he steric Lewes and it’s shops and restaurants. Just one mile to the bay with its beautiful sunsets and beach. It’s also just a half block to the bike trail. Easy ride to Cape Henlopen, Gordon Pond and Rehobeth. The property isteslf was a perfect size for my husband and I and our two dogs. Very clean and spacious and comfortable. Easy parking right out front. Small fenced yard area for the dogs. Use of the washer and dryer in the garbage. We didn’t use them but did store our bikes in the garage. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great. Cable tv. Realty company was friendly and easy to work with. We met the homeowners and they were lovely friendly people. Will absolutely be back!

Reviewer Comments: the good: generally speaking the place is nice and in good condition, in a nice neighborhood, and easy walking distance from downtown if you choose to do that. it was equipped everything we needed and our one limited bit of contact with the property owner was pleasant. there was a small issue with the cleanliness of one area of the apartment, the host graciously refunded the cleaning fee - no complaints on that. the not so good: pet fees were not fully disclosed in the vrbo listing prior to booking, there was a fee for the first pet and a second fee for a second pet which did not make sense nor was it specifically stated prior to paying a deposit. there is a property manager fee that should have been refunded as the property manager gave us the wrong keys to the rental then took over an hour to get the correct ones to us. rental insurance purchased for $70 was required unless you put up $2000 cash, that was not disclosed prior to paying a deposit or expected.for our 3 night stay the total of the fees (pet 1, pet 2, cleaning, property manager, rental insurance, service fee, and tax on it all) was 50% of the $1600 we paid for 3 nights. that is not a great proposition. the proportional split of fees to actual rental/lodging cost would have been better had they been spread over the cost of a full week stay; although only nominally better since the service fee is % based and would have been higher for a longer stay.
