3 bedroom/2 bath seahorse house. Tile flooring throughout, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, back porch with fire pit and outdoor kitchen. Full kitchen inside as well. Living room. wi-fi and dish/satellite. Propane grill, 36” griddle and Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. Private dirt boat ramp 100 yards from house. Two miles from mouth of the Steinhatchee River.

We had a great time. Scallops were plentiful! It was great to be able to park the boat beside the house. The host live close so they were able to help with anything we needed. We didn’t use the private boat ramp.

This house is cute from the outside but a few things to note. Upon arrival the front porch was covered with ants and we saw two roaches. The king bedroom is an add on or enclosed porch area and it was extremely warm, even with a fan. The kitchen and sitting area is ample. Plenty of parking. No idea where the private boat ramp was but we never saw it.There is a nice backyard area but no outside lights so you can’t sit outside at nighttime.Our family had another house a mile down the road so we weren’t at our house much.Owner was responsive.

1st Time Visitors to Steinhatchee

Family visiting from Michigan for first scalloping trip stated that they thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the Sea Horse Cottage. Unit was very clean and well maintained. They stated that they would stay there again on another trip.
