Private Home with Pool in Gated Community

Welcome to my tropical home! You will have the entire property to yourself with a large pool. Short walking distance to private beach (5-10 min), Atami Resort (15 min walk/5 min drive), El Palmarcito beach (15 min walk) with beach restaurants and bars.

Atami Resort has a restaurant on-site where you can dine and have drinks with beautiful ocean views. Great place to catch the sunset! Located within gated community with 24 hour security. Kitchen has all the basic amenities to cook meals. Charcoal BBQ outside as well.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We had a disappointing experience at this property and left after just one night.The location is misrepresented—it’s over an hour from both the airport and the city, not the 32 minutes stated. The VRBO map location is incorrect, even directing us to a restaurant instead of the property.The listing also falsely claimed wheelchair accessibility and a stair-free entrance. In reality, there are stairs all the way down to the entrance, which is below street level. The pool is also not handicapped accessible—there is no ramp or chair lift available.A major issue was the lack of water. The home does have a water tank, but that was not what we expected or stated. Once the tank is empty, there is no water available until it’s refilled. We were without water for 16 hours and only then saw a posted sign explaining that water is shut off nightly in the area to conserve resources. This should be clearly disclosed in the listing—not buried in a sign inside the home after check-in.We also encountered pest issues, including ants and centipedes coming from the shower drains. The space feels more like a converted pool house than a proper vacation rental. While a washer was listed as an amenity, it was unusable due to the lack of water.The owner did refund us, which we appreciated, but I sincerely hope the listing is updated to accurately reflect the location, accessibility limitations, and water system setup, so future guests can make an informed decision!
