Two-family weekender

We had a short stay during holiday break—two families with 3 kids under 7. About a 3 hour drive from DC. Had a great time snowtubing at Wisp. Very smooth communications, check-in/out, and transaction processes. House was clean and very comfortable. Lots of amenities we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of due to short stay. Would definitely stay again!

Great experience at Valhalla

We really enjoyed the entire stay at this house. We received timely, accurate and complete information from the property manager leading up to our arrival. The house was clean, and everything was setup for our stay. The layout of the house for perfect for our group of 6 adults and 1 child. We adults appreciated the quality of the amenities in the house, while my 4-yr-old enjoyed the space to run around. The welcome gift was a pleasant surprise, as well. Couple of issues we had: 1. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom was very uncomfortable. 2. Water pressure in the bathrooms was weak. However, we will definitely come back to stay here.

Nice Property for Fall Getaway

Valhalla is a contemporary property - well-maintained, clean (w/COVID considerations) and amenities were nice: Hot tub, some board games, gas fireplace, TVs, etc. Pretty easily accessible to the North and South ends of 219. Excellent communication provided by Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations. We'd stay here again. Our only (minor) complaint is that the mattress in the first-floor bedroom should be replaced. Seriously broken down, the indentation/sag on the left side of the bed is uncomfortable and could swallow a few people.

disappointing and substandard

Unfortunately, nothing about our stay was what we had hoped. The place was NOT clean and hadn't been for some time evidenced by cobwebs, mildew, and blankets rolled into balls in the closets. This was very concerning especially during the time of a pandemic. Due to a malfunctioning dishwasher flooding the floor and the hot tub's inability to be used without service, 2 repairmen had to enter our unit with compromised individuals. In addition, the unit needs several updates to be a place you feel comfortable in for a get away. The mattresses were very old and people had to sleep on the couch due to one of the king mattresses and the twin mattresses being so bad. The water filter for the refrigerator and all of the bedding needs replaced as it did not fit the bed. We are planning to return next year but will NOT be staying here. Very disappointed.

Wisp 2020 Ski Trop

Wonderful house, very clean, and close to slopes. Only negatives, wasn’t aware from listening that house was a duplex and although we stayed 2 nights, the one outside trash bin wasn’t large enough.

Our family & friends really enjoyed this place. We stayed for 2 nights to enjoy skiing at Wisp. It was a short drive to the slopes. The house was very roomy with plenty of space for our family of 4 and another family of 4. The kids all enjoyed the hot tub. We were greatful to have a washer/dryer for all our wet snow gear to dry! We would stay here again
