Dug into the rock at the foot of the ramparts of Amboise Castle, a place of unusual charm, but typical of the Loire Valley.
You will be seduced by the charm of this magical place in the heart of the rock and quiet in its green setting.
(At the foot of the Château d'Amboise, in its green setting, you will be seduced by this unusual habitat of charm, consisting of two troglodyte dwellings.
On the ground floor, a large loft: kitchen, living room, bathroom with large walk-in shower, beds 160x200 and 2 80x190.
Upstairs, studio with small kitchen, bathroom, bed 140x200 and sofa bed 120x190. Ideal with family or friends, you can find yourself on the ground floor to eat together and enjoy two separate spaces when you want.
Linen option possible variable depending on the number of people and beds occupied & End of stay cleaning option possible.

Troglodyte Home

There are accommodations where one stays. There are accommodations that stay in one’s heart. This troglodyte home and its owner will live in our hearts. 1) Owner: She always responded to our pre-vacation emails and answered all questions promptly. She greeted us on time to give us the keys to the home. 2) Troglodyte home: What a find! How intriguing to stay in an ancient dwelling that is wired and plumbed with modern facilities. The house is furnished with a chic, easy comfort in mind. The owner’s creativity brings this property to life. The location is excellent for easy walking to the Amboise Chateau and the Museum of Clos Luce, Leonardo da Vinci’s residence.

Très beau gîte, très bien localisé (très proche à pied du château, du centre ville, du clos Lucé), avec beaucoup de charme. Absence de séparation entre l'espace nuit et les espaces de vie. Difficile de faire autrement dans ce logement troglodyte, mais bon à savoir quand on vient en groupe. L'hôtesse était très gentille avec une communication fluide.
