Our favorite Rustic Retreat was turned into a entertaining oasis in 2023 with a full remodel. Reel Therapy 3is known for its PRIME location on B Dock, featuring over 1500 square feet of living space and spacious decks! Our dock space is unparallel featuring 38ft in the front and 60ft on the side, so we have plenty of room for several boats on this unit, let's talk about it a whole fleet to be exact! This unit is set-up with entertaining in mind. We have installed all new cabinetry, re-configured the kitchen layout to maximize the use of our space allowingfor anOPEN kitchen, dining and living area anda large bar area with plenty of seatingto swap fishing stories. On the back deck we have deck chairs and apicnic table for enjoying an outdoor meal or boil! Reel Therapy 3 features 3 separate bedrooms all with doors- Bedrooms1 & 2 feature a queen bed with a twin over- which is a great option for couples coming to Venice, while bedroom 3 is a bunk room with 2 sets of twins over twin bunks. This unit has TV's in each bedroom as well as a NEW largescreen TV in the living area. Reel Therapy Houseboat Rentals prides itself onon having fully stockedcamps featuring a kitchen full of accessories for cooking up meals. You will find a selection ofdishes, stemware, blenders, mixers, crock pots, fryer, steam pots, and pots/pans- everything needed to cook a fabulous meal after a long day on the water. The 500lb ice maker with 900lb bin makes icing down your coolers and fish a breeze! Other amenities include- Dock cart, Dish Network, Wi-Fi and Cell Phone Booster, for those needing to work while having some fun! RT3 has a covered fish cleaning station on our back deck to protect you from the heat or any other element of weather you may incur with awash down conveniently located beside it. This unit also features a full-size washer and dryer right outside the front entrance!

Perfect location for fishing charter. Easy dock pick up both mornings, heavy duty ice maker, table and grill for cooking your catch. Cleaning station and steam pot perfect size. Slept six adults comfortably - could have fit 8-9 and still not been crowded. Check in was a breeze. Marina in walking distance. Will stay again!

We stay at Amy’s places annually and always look forward to the next trip. They are clean, well stocked, everything works and she is an amazing host and flexible to work with. This location was great for 6 guys, cooked, slept comfortably, ice machine was full and it was easy either for your own boat or having a charter pick you up from the houseboat.

We had a 4 retired guys fishing trip for 2 days in Venice. This place was clean, well stocked, and convenient for our boat to pick us up from the porch. The washer and dryer was a blessing each day. The beds were comfortable and having two showers with plenty of hot water was great. We will be back.

The love of fishing brought us to Venice over 15 years ago. Thru the years we have visited many times while fishing the SKA King Mackerel Circuit as well as the FLW Kingfish Series. In more recent years it has been more pleasure trips than tournaments that has brought us back. Venice has many names - "Fishing Capitol of the World"- "Tuna Town USA" and there is a reason behind this! Venice has come to be known as one of the BEST inshore and offshore saltwater fishing destinations in the USA! The inshore fishing is some of the most productive in the world. Where else can you go almost any day of the year and catch enormous Bull reds Or limit out on trout before lunch? The offshore fishing is "Off the Hook" hooking up with Yellowfin Tuna, Amberjack, Grouper and Cobia less than 15 miles from the dock! Nowhere else in the Gulf of Mexico can you go and catch the size and quantity of fish as Venice, LA. This is why we as avid fisherman had to have a place in this fishing mecca! Come Enjoy and See what this end of the world is all about! Tight Lines, Calm Seas & Fair winds to all.

Why they chose this property

This houseboat was designed with the guest in mind. This houseboat has something that families can enjoy, as well as a bunch of ole' fishing buddies or even couples! It's affordable, yet nice enough to bring clients and business associates for a weekend fishing adventure. When you consider that the nightly rate is virtually the same price as "2" motel rooms it makes the ideal solution and convenience of the whole group being able to stay together. The ease and convenience of not having to launch your boat each day or the lack of 'hang out' space at a motel, it only makes sense to stay with us. Convenience was definitely an important factor in our decision to locate at Venice Marina. The close proximity to the parking area is a huge plus for the houseboat. Our guest enjoy a short walk to the houseboat. This houseboat features a deck with curtains that can be closed in the late afternoons during the summer to keep the hot sun from bearing down on them. Additionally, the houseboat is situated on the inside of the houseboat docks, resulting in little if any wave action from commercial and recreational boat traffic in and out of the marina. By staying with us, you are only a short walk to the marina dock where you can meet your charter captain, if you are going out with one or you can have them stop right outside the front door of the houseboat to pick you up! The marina store is open early enough for you to grab those last minute supplies as well.
