About this property

Up The Hill: facing the sea under the olive trees

Very calm house, with the neat decoration, with all the comfort,

It is located in a private property independent of the villa owners on a plot of 3000m2 and has a terrace not overlooked among the olive trees, near the village of Cassis and beaches (15 min walk), in a postcard frame facing the sea with a dazzling view of the Cap Canaille and the Massif des Calanques.

After crossing a path full of bougainvillea, olive trees and cypresses you can park a car in a reserved area, in front of the private gate that leads to your house. We cross then a raised garden, a hut for the children, a swing and a ground of petanque to arrive on a beautiful terrace in the shade of the canisses. Chairs, outdoor sofas, small round table: everything is done to bask and enjoy the calm of the place.

Nice and quiet accomodation

Very nice house located in a quiet area, about 10-15 minutes from Cassis port and beach. The house and terrace is separated from the owners' house and hidden from views. Owners are nice, friendly and helpful! Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Very pleasant stay

We spent very nice Easter holidays in this house with a light and spacious living room/ kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one needs. The house is very quietly located with a nice garden to relax. Within walking distance to the port of Cassis and the Calanques. Thanks very much to our friendly hosts. Merci beaucoup!

Not as described.

I am an Australian grandmother who was looking for a safe place to bring my french grandson and his parents for a holiday The photos displayed on Stayz were not as I found them. The host I booked it through disappeared and from then on I had sporadic and unsatisfactory help. The garden was not private as specified. The entry is for anyone older uneven with had no dedicated pathway to the cottage. The swings which were integral to my gransons stay were so dangerous, a child had fallen just before we arrived. They were not anchored to the ground and as a result my grandson could not use them and this resulted in there departure early. The accommodation was hidden under the owners pool terrace which was not in the photos and the fence in front of the outdoor area cut out any sea view. On day 1 we had run out if roilet paper. On asking for more ( we had only one roll( we were told that we were only allocated 2 rolls. I had ro buy toilet paper, garbage bags, shower gel and my bdaughter had to bring essential equipment for the kitchen. I never heard back from the host and felt so unhappy and unwanted that I leftvtwo days early after letting them know I have asked for a refund for these two nights which has been rejected I rent a cottage and I and those who I have spoken to here and in France cannot believe the treatment I had especially with the amount paid.

Dear madam, you may be unsatisfyied, but brazenly lying can be sued, and consider that i will do it if you don't deny on this website ! For any potentiel hostrr reading this, please find our answers : - false photos : please read the last 10 years rental comments to understand that Alexandra's point of view is absolutely unique - Host disappeared : I personnaly answered in less than 24hours all messages you sent in Stayz, and Audrey, the owner daughter, is living above the appartment, was there everyday and aswered your requests each day ! - private garden : reading the notice clearly indicate that the villa is situated in the owner bigger villa and that garden and games are "at your disposal". I just add that owners never use this small part of the garden as they can enjoy 2 500m2 of garden and swimming at the opposite of the area ... - kid fall : true lie, please give a proof of it, this is absolutely insupportable. Do you mean that the owner is endangering her hots and her own 6 grandchildren ??? such accusations must denied or you muts bring proof !!! - villa under swimming pool : yes, part of it, and so ? any disappointment related to that ? - sea view : exactly as shown on photos - toilet paper : we cannot be responsible for your personnal toilet paper overconsumption. We are not an hotel. Any 1 week stay need to bring you own personnal consumption products - High price : 110€ for 60m2 and 2 nice double room, garden and Terrace in private property is lower than average

Die Ferienwohnung hat einen wunderbaren Garten mit Olivenbäumen, eingefasst in Bruchsteinmauern und Blick auf die grosse Klippe vom Cassis. In ca. 20 Minuten läuft man den Hang hinunter in den Ort Cassis. Uns vieren hat alles sehr gut gefallen.

Sehr schön gelegenes gemütliches Haus, tolles Grundstück und traumhafter Ausblick. Sehr umfangreiche Außenausstattung inkl. Spielmöglichkeiten. Sehr unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Cassis gilt zu Recht als einer der schönsten Orte in Südfrankreich. Wir kommen wieder!

Sans avoir eu le plaisir de rencontrer les logeurs absents, nous avons eu tout ce qu'il nous fallait , et plus , en plus du calme sans voisinage immédiat à part le dernier jour. Les quelques marches pour accéder au logement ont été vaillamment escaladées par la mamie . Une petite épreuve pour elle . Nous recommandons l'endroit .

Up the Hill

Die Terrasse und der Garten waren sehr schön mit Blick auf das Cap Canaille. Der Fußweg zum Zentrum Cassis dauert ca. 18 Minuten. Die Wohnung insgesamt war in Ordnung. Die Kochausrüstung war etwas spärlich. Töpfe, Bleche und Kühlschrank hätten etwas sauberer sein können.

Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances dans ce gîte confortable, spacieux et extrêmement bien situé pour visiter Cassis, Marseille et ses calanques. Wir waren eine Woche Anfang November in dieser Ferienidylle und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Kinder genossen den großzügigen Garten und wir die Gemütlichkeit der Wohnung. Die Lage ist perfekt. Von der Terrasse ist das Cap Canaille zum Greifen nahe. Liebevoll und individuell eingerichtet. Alles da, was man braucht! Der Vermieter war jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr nett Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder!! Danke für eine wunderschöne Woche!

Ce lieu est une pépite à deux pas du port de Cassis. La maison est très bien équipée et la vue sur le Cap canaille est magnifique. Nous reviendrons !

Erholsame Ferien in wunderschöner Umgebung

Gemütliches Häuschen sehr gut ausgestattet, mässig sauber. Toller, völlig privater und ruhiger Sitzplatz und Rasen mit Olivenbäumen. Meersicht nur wenn man steht wegen Zaun. Lage am Hang etwas ausserhalb von Cassis. Zu Fuss ins Zentrum/Strand ca. 20 Min. Da das Zentrum von Cassis sehr viele Einbahnstrassen und kaum Parkplätze hat, empfiehlt es sich, die Fahrräder mitzunehmen, wegen starker Steigung zur Unterkunft vorzugsweise E-bikes. Mein Mann und ich haben den Urlaub sehr genossen, im Speziellen die Klippenwanderung Falaise de Soubeyrane und die Wanderungen in den Calanques.
