Great Time

Had a great time, spent most of the time working but my son and I enjoyed the spa every-night owner was quick to response and steve (property manager) was also quick to help and respond. We will stay again !!

Plenty of space, home is very well kept and clean, awesome patio around pool and hot tub.

The home was just as pictured on the VRBO website: plenty of space and very clean! The screened-in patio around the pool and hot tub is spacious and very well maintained with plenty of seating, and there is a smaller patio outside down by the canal. Two kayaks with life jackets are available as are two bicycles with helmets, and there is a game room. I only wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all the amenities!! Easy to get to Ft. Myers and the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) from this location. And host Ruth was easy to reach and kept in touch throughout our stay. Thanks for the use of your home, Ruth!

Beyond satisfied!!!

This place is absolutely gorgeous and we’re so happy we booked it! Steve, the property manager is GREAT and was able to answer any questions we had. He had the spa ready for us every night when we wanted to use it and when we wanted the deck jets on, we just asked him and he was able to tut them on right away. We’ve stayed at numerous rental properties in the past with lavish pictures of the property and get there and the place looked nothing like the pictures and the spa didn’t function properly, but at the Villagoona EVERYTHING looked exactly like the pictures and everything was in working order. We’ll definitely be staying there again in the near future!!!!

Beautiful Cape Coral Home with Spectacular Pool

My 12-year-old daughter said this was the most beautiful home she has ever stayed in. I especially liked the pool area and the deck overlooking the canal. My son and I took the kayaks out and loved that.

Great House & Location

Overall, we enjoyed our stay as the house is beautiful, perfect house for a family to spend quality time relaxing together! The outdoor area with the pool and hot tub is very large, and overlooks the peaceful canal. Also, the game room was a big hit for our kids. Also, Ruth (property owner), was extremely responsive for everything...even from her home locale of Germany! On the opportunity side, the hot tub / Jacuzzi could not be controlled locally, so we either had to contact the owner or the property manager via text each time we wanted the hot tub bubbles turned on / off, or the jets for the pool turned on / off. I'm guessing Ruth will get this fixed soon as it's inconvenient for both sides. Also, although there are 6-7 great quality TV's throughout the house (one in every room), they do not have any cable or Satellite TV, so you get a few basic channels and that's it.

AMAZING!!

I'm a little late in posting this review. We stayed at the beginning of October. The house was absolutely gorgeous, with an enormous kitchen, spacious backyard and one of the biggest pools we have had when staying at a VRBO. We had a slight hiccup with the controls of the hot tub on the first night, but the House Manager, Steve, was responsive and fixed the problem remotely (did not know that was possible). We would definitely stay here again and again!

Excellent Vacation Rental!

Rented this beautiful vacation home to celebrate a special 50th birthday. Our group consisted of 6 ladies and there was more than enough room for all of us. We spent our days in the pool and evenings in the jacuzzi. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances necessary. We enjoyed the game room late nights. There is a shopping center less than 2 miles away! Overall this home was amazing, well kept and we would definitely rent again!

Great Vacation Get-a-way spot!

If you're looking for a great spot to relax and get away, Villagoona is the perfect choice. The large pool and jacuzzi are hours of entertainment for both adults and kids. Also located right on the canal where you can take out the provided kayaks for more fun in the sun! The property manager of Villagoona was fantastic - he was only a text/call away if we had any questions and his response time was always very prompt no matter what time of day/night we contacted him. You can't go wrong with this place!

Vacation Bliss

In looking for a getaway during this Mother’s Day weekend we stumbled upon the property and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The residence was perfect in every way from the comfortable rooms to ample amenities to the quiet neighborhood; it set the mood for a perfect escape. Pool area was thoughtfully designed for all ages and activities apart from being relaxing and simply breathtaking. Overall, we could not have been happier with our time spent and definitely would consider another trip to the property in the near future.

Short stay

Staying on the canal was very relaxing. The kitchen was amazing for cooking. The jacuzzi and pool were clean and relaxing. The shower in both master baths were nice and warm. The beds were a bit uncomfortable but we were exhausted every night because of our daily adventures.

Best Vacation House Ever

During a time when we wanted to stay safe, we were able to find our own paradise here. We had everything we desired from a lovely spacious home to an incredible outdoor living space. Our hostess Ruth made sure that our pool and hot tub temps were absolutely perfect. I bet she even had something to do with the incredible weather. Steve was helpful with check in and gave us the lowdown on local fare as far as grocery stores and his favorite restaurant (maybe next time for the ribs). It was everything and more than I could wish for. Thank you Ruth. We will be back!

Great Pool and Master Suite

We came to Cape Coral for a long weekend. The Villagoona house was a perfect fit for this trip. We primarily stayed home at the house and only left for groceries and one dinner out. The rest of the time was spent almost exclusively in the pool area. Our 10 year old son thoroughly enjoyed himself. My wife and I were impressed with the master’s suite.

The house is family owned. We love this area. We love to stay at our house 6 - 8 weeks a year. We love to have breaktfast, lunch and dinner in the pagio area, hearing the waterfall of the pool and the birds, using the different lounge chairs, reading a book, boats driving along the canal, using the kayaks or take the bikes for a round. Take a break and swim in the amazing pool or use the jacuzzi. Just relax and enjoy the magic of the light. All the other months we share our house with guests.

The pool area at the Lido canal is amazing. The screen covered lanai inclusive pool and jacuzzi is 2,342 square feet/217 m2. There is also a sundeck downstairs at the paver dock where fishing is allowed.
