La villa data de 1660. La mayor parte del primer y del segundo piso están decorados con frescos originales de 1600-1700, que se han descubierto después de una renovación muy cuidadosa de 2 años. La propiedad está ubicada a 5 Kms al norte de Lucca, a solo unos cientos de metros de las más renombradas 'villas históricas de Lucca' (VIlla Reale, Villa Grabau, Villa Oliva)

La villa consta de 3 plantas con una superficie total de aprox. 800 metros cuadrados.

PLANTA BAJA
En la planta baja hay una gran bodega, que se ha reconvertido en la bodega original, con áreas de degustación para los invitados, algunas barricas de roble originales, una gran sala de selección de vinos. Acceso directo al jardín principal.

En esta planta se encuentra la cocina principal con el interior del horno de leña original, el comedor, un trastero, un baño, una segunda cocina más pequeña, una sala de estar, un baño.

PRIMER PISO
Entrada a través de una escalera exterior (típica de las villas de Lucca del siglo XVII) en un salón. Desde esta sala central se accede a: un salón, un comedor con chimenea, una cocina abierta al patio cubierto, un baño, una habitación doble, una habitación doble con baño propio, una gran suite con: una habitación principal con un baño, la sala de 'música' con frescos (con piano), un estudio y un salón

SEGUNDA PLANTA
En esta planta hay: una sala de gimnasio grande y muy bien equipada, 5 habitaciones dobles, 2 habitaciones dobles y 4 baños.


PARQUE, PISCINA, CASAS DE LIMÓN
La propiedad tiene un gran parque de 1 000 metros cuadrados, con árboles seculares y hermosas plantas mediterráneas. Una galería de rosas cruza un lado del jardín, desde la piscina (13X6) hasta las 'casas de limón' que también se pueden usar para eventos y para leer y relajarse.

Tuscan visit, family get togethet

We are an extended family of 15 states at villa. Dario was so responsive it made our stay most enjoyable. You can tell the owners put a lot of love and care into the building. We enjoyed our stay very much. The view from huge porch never got old.

From the champagne greeting to the lift to the train station, the hosts were magnificent. Above and beyond. The property was even better than then photos - perfect for our group of friends. Every detail was seen to. Highly recommend & would stay again.

Beautiful Italian Villa

We were a group of 18 and the house had plenty of space for us. The grounds, the pool and the back veranda were the highlights that we most enjoyed. The bedrooms were large and provided nice privacy. The frescos were stunning and made you feel you were in a one-of-a-kind villa. Dario was a splendid host helping us with chefs coming to the villa (highly recommended), restaurant recommendations, a boat trip to Cinque Terre, and booking ground transport. Everyone in our group had a great time.

Amazing Villa

This villa exceeded our expectations in so many ways. From the moment we booked the reservation, Dario was helpful and responsive. He helped us arrange dinners and a cooking class at the villa, plus excursions. Each of these were well done, and enjoyed by our entire family. The villa itself was perfect for our group, with plenty of space inside and out. The outdoor spaces look great in the pictures, and even better in person. We spent a lot of time on the outdoor patio, with great views of the villa grounds and the mountains in the distance. Overall a great experience, thank you Dario and team!

Historic Property Modern comforts

There were 11 of us from two countries celebrating a family reunion. Our group ranged in age from 17- 62. The house was in excellent condition, totally clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. The grounds and the pool were also very well cared for and the location was peaceful but not too far from some nice restaurants,stores and historic villas. The owners were lovely, most welcoming and easy to reach when needed. The house is great for a large group because the bedrooms are quite private and there are several different gathering places in the house but the best of all is the terrace off of the kitchen with the view of the hills.

Amazing Stay!

From start to finish, this Tuscany Villa was superb!! My communication with Dario, our property liaison, from the minute this beautiful villa was reserved to the end of our stay was terrific. He not only helped us with the initial welcome, he reserved taxis, excursions, supermarket runs, and everything in between. The Villa was one of the most amazing places I have experienced in my travels. We were a group of five couples and as I can speak on behalf of our group, not one of us was disappointed in this beautiful home. The villa itself is magnificent. We all had privacy and there were rooms never even visited! It is a perfect place for family reunions, couple vacations, special occasions, etc. Every couple had their own bedroom and individual bathrooms with more rooms to spare! The villa is immaculate and equipped with everything necessary for your stay. The pool is incredible with a beautiful jacuzzi. A highly recommended resort with so much to experience. A week is definitely too short a visit to this magnificent villa. We cannot wait to return! Thank you Dario, Mario, Genny, & Paula for a very warm reception from all and we look forward to our next visit to Villa Moscheni! Ciao!

Fantastic property! We loved our stay at Villa Moscheni!

This is my husband & my 2nd stay at Villa Moscheni. We absolutely love this stunning property! We and our 6 friends met Dr Trabucco at the Villa at the appointed time. The check in was easy & full tour was given for our guests. Dari is so knowledgeable about the area & gave us many suggestions. Our group wanted a pizza party so a chef was arranged to come to the Villa & use the catering kitchen that has a wood burning pizza oven! It was a fantastic & memorable evening! The Villa has been lovingly restored with all modern conveniences but still retains its former charm. This property is completely walled in & gated. We felt safe within our walls! My husband & I felt like royalty again staying here for 4 weeks. The rooms are large, lots of light & air conditioned, with beautiful frescos throughout. They are furnished beautifully with period furnishings including chests for hanging clothes in each room. Everything was very convenient. The kitchens were well stocked & I was able to cook several beautiful meals. The veranda was our favorite gathering area. In fact we are most of our home meals here. The views of the Lucca hills are just beautiful & mostly private from the back of the villa overlooking the formal gardens & fountain. We enjoyed the pool & found it well maintained. We had 4 cars & there was plenty of parking within the gates. We are planning our 3rd stay soon!

The Ultimate Tuscan Experience

This beautiful Villa is conveniently located close to the historic town of Lucca, but also quite convenient for day trips to Firenze, Sienna and Forte di Marmi. The property has been restored to perfection with amazing attention to details to perserve the integrity of this historic Villa but with all the modern conveniences. The grounds of the Villa are meticulously maintained with an beautiful pool to enjoy during your stay and a full gym within the Villa should you wish to have a workout and never leave the Villa. Although you are in the amazing Tuscan region you want to spend as much time as possible just being at the Villa with your friends and family. You can easily arrange for a variety of activities at the Villa with a guest favorite of hiring a Chef to prepare an amazing meal to enjoy on the outside veranda overlooking the property grounds, or even a fun game of Ping Pong. It truly is an exceptional Villa of very high standards but yet very warm and inviting. It was truly one of our most memorable holidays and we have already made arrangements to visit again in 2019.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

Villa Moscheni proved to be the perfect spot to host a large family reunion in Italy. With different arrivals and departures we were a group as small as 8 and as large as 19. The house was perfect for both the small and the large groups. The listing accurately describes the villa layout and location but I think the photos on the site don't really reflect how beautiful and comfortable the villa truly is. The large balcony overlooking the gardens and attached to the main kitchen was wonderful for our large family dinners. The pool area, looking out to the surrounding hills was beautiful. The nicely equipped gym was used extensively. The bedrooms, as well as the entire villa, were comfortably appointed and the attention to preserving the beautiful antique details of this historic villa was remarkable. The location in the suburbs of Lucca was perfect. Shopping for food and finding good local restaurants was very easy and convenient. It did not involve the usually difficult drive on narrow, winding country roads. Dario and Genni, the managers and Mario and Paola, the owners were the perfect hosts. They were always available to help and answer questions. I would highly recommend a stay at Villa Moscheni.

A treasured experience.
