Cette cabane a une jolie cuisine, c'est une chambre à coucher une salle de bain et un grand salon qui donne sur la rivière. Sortez par la porte arrière, sur une terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur le fleuve. Descendez l'allée et accédez aux terres domaniales avec 1000 acres et plus pour la chasse. Toutes les chambres et le salon ont une télévision avec câble. Le canapé a un lit gigogne pour dormir des invités supplémentaires. De plus, les chaises en rondins se replient également pour faire un lit. Canoë et kayaks sont disponibles pour les clients à utiliser. La cour arrière est clôturée, idéale pour les clients qui souhaitent amener les chiens.

Great place to get away

We really enjoyed our stay. Having a fenced in area for our dogs was wonderful and Dave was very helpful checking on us and getting us settled when we first arrived.

Lovely cabin

The cabin was very lovely and roomier than expected. It was nice and out of the way so we could enjoy the stay away from the city. We really enjoyed our time playing games around the fire and watching the river.

Kerri’s Cottage Chillin’

This was our 2nd stay at Kerri’s cottage on the river. We love the location as it is perfect for us and our 2 Corgis. It’s a quiet spot, everything you need to enjoy inside or outside is there. Close enough for convenience and far enough away from any crowds.

Great little getaway

This cabin was just as advertised. It was cozy. The fenced in yard was great for my dog, and steps away from the river too. The host was easy to communicate with and the property manager was welcoming and friendly. All in all, id stay there again and recommend it to friends and family as well.

Always a fun stay

This is our second time staying here and we cannot wait to return! The cottage and fenced yard is perfect for us and our dogs. The beach and river is a huge hit for our pup who loves the water. The local hiking trails are fun to explore. The cottage is cozy with a full kitchen and all the utensils for grilling outside on the lovely deck. The neighborhood is very quiet and the people are friendly. We look forward to our next stay!

This was a return trip for me, my wife and our dog, and this time we were joined by our two adult sons. Very quick responses and help by Kerri and/ or caretakers. Our dog loves the water and the shallow, sandy stream on the back has been the highlight for us.

Quiet, Comfy, and Welcoming

We enjoyed our time on the back deck and down at the river. The yard was adequately fenced for our dogs (large and small breeds). The cabin felt very open and we found it to be well appointed - we never felt like we "needed" anything. It was homey without being kitschy - easy to relax into. House rules were simple and very reasonable. Hopefully we get to go back!

Well Worth it

Each year the four of us rent a house and spend 3 or 4 days together just to catch up and make new memories, We aren't kids anymore. This year we were well pleased with the house we stayed in. The neighbors were very gracious, especially since we were/are extremely rowdy adults when we get together. The house was very clean and well stocked. Thank you Kerri for allowing us to make memories in your home.

Great Opportunity to Unwind

While there is some traffic, and therefore some noise you can if sitting close to river in the back, it is muffled by the tree cover surrounding and therefore not bothersome to us. The house itself is much farther away and therefore even quieter. Nice, clean, compact house with a fenced yard that was great for our dog or else he would spend his entire time in the river! Nice elevated patio with a BBQ. We (and the dog) really loved the very shallow river (less than knee deep) with a sandy bottom. Caretaker Dave who lives next door is a darling! Very personable and helpful.

Nice Cabin. Woodsie location. We were pleased with the looks of the cabin. . All the cooking tools we needed . Couch is quite worn., sunken,..we took the cushions off the chairs and put them on it so we get up after sitting on it. We were sad to see that the river was too shallow for fishing. A little to hard to come up the hill for us older folks. .Really needed the use of that rope railing. There were lots of spiders!

What a nice place!

I can’t believe I’m just now leaving a review! My fiancé and I stayed here this past summer with our two dogs and we keep talking about wanting to take them back. We had such a lovely time staying in the cabin and this place was so perfect for our dogs. We loved the fenced yard and our dogs enjoyed going down to the river. It was our puppy’s first swim and the shallow river was just perfect! The nice isolated beach was so quiet and peaceful for us to enjoy with our two dogs. We enjoyed the trails and hiking to the corner store for goods and chatting with neighbors. We also appreciated all of the amenities and comfort of the cabin. They leave so many fun things for you to do! We can’t wait to go back this summer!

Peaceful Getaway

The four of us (partner, myself, two dogs) stayed for a week (6 nights) in early September. We were looking for a place to relax and that is what we got. Our dogs loved the yard, trails, and river. I would say that for us, the listing under sold the property a little. For those who have dogs it is important to note that there was a large collapsible dog crate, it is shown in a picture but is easy to miss. Additionally, we found a couple reclining lounge chairs that were comfortable, an upgrade to the white plastic ones in the photos. People in previous comments noted that the couch in front of the TV was worn in, but we found the couch to be in good shape and easily supported us. The view from the deck is great and though you do hear traffic from the nearby road through the trees on the other side of the river it was not loud enough to detract from the property. All listed amenities were provided, the property managers/neighbors were pleasant and easy going. We didn't really require much, but they were there if we needed them (we were provided contact info) and made sure to check on us when we arrived and saw us off on our way out. The owner, Kerri, was very responsive and made sure we had additional directions to get there. She was glad to answer (and did answer) questions we had as our booking date got closer and closer. I think this is an excellent choice for those looking for a nice quite place to relax especially if you plan to bring a dog or two.

Beautiful Getaway

Stayed in mid-September so a little chilly, but dogs had a fun time swimming in the river and walking the trails. Fenced yard is wonderful! Everything we needed was easily available. Very nice and cozy little cottage. Would recommend!
