We really enjoyed the Jellybean home and location. The decor added to the appeal. We appreciated the amenities provided. Would recommend this location.
The property is centrally located and spacious. Michael was wonderful to work with and always very responsive.There is a park, splash pad and outdoor community pool within a 5 minute walk from the house. Our kids loved to spend time there in the late afternoon, after a busy day of touring.We are looking forward to a return visit.
Me and a group of 12 adults all stayed here with ease, lots of room for everyone to sleep and with 3 full and 1 half bath. Washrooms were not a problem either even with a big group. Walking distance from all down town area. Great stay overall
The Jellybean house is exactly as advertised and perfect location for walking downtown St. John's. Our group of 8 ladies had a great trip and Michael was great at communicating with us.

We had a great time in St. Johns. We had our family of 5 stay at this location. A true jellybean row type house. Plenty of room for all of us, location was great. You get a parking pass for the street, so your car is just steps from the front door. You can walk to all the key spots downtown and take short drives out to key points of interest. Michael was a great host, very responsive and provided some great tips for whale watching and dinner locations. Hoping to return some day soon.
Great location for a St. John's stay...close to downtown for restaurants and bars...great space for our family of 5 with enough rooms for privacy and not tripping over each other...Michael is a great host and happily provides recommendations for getting out of the city and great restaurants 🙂
Homey living room and kitchen for 5 adults. Central location and good internet. Well equipped kitchen. Generally clean except for dirt in the window sill area of the basement bedroom. Basement stairs were challenging and the photos did not indicate that they were steep and narrow.Waffle towels did not absorb water. An information book about grocery stores, liquor stores, take out restaurants, ATM’s etc.would be helpful.
We had a great stay here! The rooms were spacious and they all had their own bathrooms which was super convenient for each group of family members. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom as there was more room than we needed but the kids loved the pig picture and the 'secret door' to get there. It was a hilight if the house, not to mention that it was on the street our walking tour went on. Thanks for the great stay!
Michael was easy to communicate with. The house was great for our family of four and the location was perfect to be near downtown and local bars and restaurants. Signal hill close by too.
The property was very clean and appealing very rustic which was very good for what we where expecting and wanted suited us for 6 adults and a infant of 6 months.was walk to downtown and harbour front,a pupil park with a fantastic

We absolutely loved our stay at Michael's jellybean house. Michael has done a fantastic job of maintaining the character of the home. It was extremely spacious and we were able to easily walk to the downtown area of St. John's and the harbourfront. Michael provided a parking pass and we were able to park on the street in front of the house without any issues at all during our stay. I would highly recommend a stay at Michael's home if you're looking to stay in downtown St. John's.
The house is charming and the location was very accommodating! There is a small meat/grocery store a block away with an incredible bakery only three blocks away. Everything we needed! Michael was extremely helpful and very communicative with any questions we had. Highly recommend this listing for anyone else! Thank you!
Our property owner was double booked (though not his fault) so we stayed at the property adjacent to this one. It was very clean and well kept. The balcony off the back provided a great view of the harbour and Signal Hill. We each had our own private place to sleep and had room to hang out as well. Our only complaint is that there was no coffee!!! A quick drive to a nearby Tim’s so Ed this.
This rental worked out great for the 8 of us. The location is perfect and it is very well equipped. Here is an explanation of each level of the property since I found it hard to understand from the descriptions and pictures.Main level has a combined sitting area and eat in kitchen as well as a powder room.Just off the kitchen area, down some steps is enclosed porch with a great harvest table to gather around.On the 2nd level you enter a room that has a day bed, which then enters into a room with a queen size bed and ensuite.On the 3rd level you enter a room with two twin beds and 3/4(?) bed which then enters into a room with a queen bed and ensuite.Down the small curvy basement stairs is a large room with queen bed, and a trickery little bathroom.
Antiquated, roomy, great host but my daughters both double checked it was there!property was musty and may be a problem for people with respiratory problems. Also' host accused us of taking the parking pass which I clearly placed back on the frig ab
Comfortable beds, hot showers & VERY CLEAN.....So close to EVERYTHING.... The Harbour / Restaurants / Pizza / Shopping... and all within walking distance!
Michael was very responsive & clear with communications. And was so kind & understanding when we asked him to have a look for earrings my 92 yr old Mother-In-Law forgot in the 2nd floor bathroom (a gift from my late FIL) He went above and beyond to to try and find them....
We were home from Ontario & had a Wedding in Quidi Vidi. The house was just 7 mins away from the reception & was just lovely.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!!!
If we ever need a place to stay when in St Johns, you can bet I will be calling Michael again

The location of the property was excellent for our needs. The house was roomy with enough bedrooms & bathrooms. It was well supplied with good quality towels & dishware.The layout could have been outlined a bit better. The bedroom with ensuite was situated in the basement with a tricky stairwell, not great for seniors. The other two bathrooms required one to walk through one bedroom to access the bathroom in the adjacent bedroom. Not a big issue, but could be a worry for those getting up to use the bathroom at night, & not wanting to disturb sleeping people.The sunroom was not usable due to a strong smell of mildew.There was a dangerous accumulation of lint in the dryer filter.We used the washer & dryer, but marks were left on a couple of white items. We were able to remove the marks.No screens on the upstairs 2nd floor windows. Parking was difficult due to work happening on the street as well as street cleaning. There was an overflow place to park around the corner, but we found out about it from a person in the street.

The house boasted eight beds, providing each of us with ample space to unwind after a day of exploration. With 3.5 bathrooms, there was never any need to wait in line, allowing us to get ready for our adventures without any hassle.
One of the most unique aspects of the rental was the basement unit, which, admittedly, piqued our curiosity at first. However, it turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our stay. This quirky space added an extra layer of charm to the house.
What truly set this VRBO rental apart was the exceptional hospitality of the owner. Not only did they ensure that every detail of the house was meticulously taken care of, but they also went out of their way to accommodate our needs. When one of our group members accidentally left behind a laptop at the airport, the owner personally delivered it to us, saving the day and exemplifying the true meaning of hospitality. What a time!
