North of Decorah, but drivable for meals if you don’t want to cook. Beautiful setting with a fishable creek on the property. Centrally located to the popular fly fishing streams. Excellent internet connection. Bring a map if you’re going to be driving - google map doesn’t work everywhere in this part of Iowa. Really appreciated the paper plates

Country cabin that is peaceful and quiet. My wife and I usually stay in a motel in Decorah, but I thought we try this cabin out and see what it was like. We hiked down to the stream and the trout were very active. There were 5 turkeys out in the field and we enjoyed seeing them. Just a close drive to Seed Savers Exchange (My wife likes to garden). Driving to town was another short drive to get to great places to eat. The cabin is air conditioned and was very comfortable. I would recommend highly staying here. I don't think you'll regret it.

The prairie and stream were beautiful. We loved the outdoor covered deck and the 3 season enclosed porch. Everything was clean. The fishing was good for the amount of rain we had.

Family Getaway

The property was exactly what we were looking for---private and peaceful with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our family of 3. The host Brendon was very responsive and provided detailed instructions for the check-in and check-out process. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need and the carport was nice to protect our vehicle from the elements.

Adorable clear cabin

Nothing fancy about it, which is exactly what we wanted. A simple place that had running water, electricity and a bed at night. Streams that are on the property were well maintained. Lots of wildlife around. We will definitely be staying here again!
