¡NUEVO! Cabaña renovada: cerca del monte Snow, excelentes vistas

Venga a alojarse en nuestra cabaña de troncos recientemente renovada en el bosque con hermosas vistas del río, las montañas y las estrellas.

Si bien esta es una lista nueva en esta plataforma, se ha incluido en airbnb desde febrero de 2019 con excelentes comentarios (más de 65 comentarios, una calificación promedio de 4. 98).

Se encuentra a las afueras del encantador pueblo de Williamsville, cerca del histórico pueblo de Newfane, a 12 millas de Mount Snow para esquiar y hacer snowboard, y en el río Rock (con agua refrescante y clara, durante todo el verano).

Decorada con buen gusto por el constructor danés, la cabina tiene un concepto abierto con hileras de ventanas panorámicas.

Es el lugar perfecto tanto para una escapada romántica como para unas vacaciones familiares. Ofrece asomarse desde la primera fila hasta la hoja: ni siquiera tiene que salir de la casa :)

Perfect Secluded Get Away

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for our honeymoon and returned again for our anniversary. The cabin is so clean and inviting. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t need (tv). My favorite part of staying here is sleeping to the sound of the river below and the birds outside. It’s the most beautiful, relaxing property ever! We will be coming back for years to come!

Vermont at its finest

Lasse’s house was a great retreat for 3 adults and one child. Shared meals around the large dining room table overlooking the river, telling stories, playing games, and enjoying the hot tub on a mild spring evening, the house was perfect for us. Our family will be back!

Incredible Views!

My husband and I had the perfect stay on our honeymoon! The view was absolutely incredible, and we enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit, in the hot tub, and on the cozy couch while taking in the fall foliage. Lasse was so kind and responsive throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Stayed here on honeymoon

We wanted a quiet get away for our honeymoon and this cabin met and exceeded all expectations. It was cozy, clean, well equipped, and just simply a beautiful cabin. Our favorite part of our stay was walking to the river everyday to cool off and then just reading in the chairs that overlook the river. Our second favorite part was standing on the patio overlooking the mountains and river valley at night and watching the fireflies light up the trees. It was magical! We want to come back again and stay longer!

Exceeds expectations

The pictures do not do this place justice! The house was immaculate and bright. Very nice appliances and has any cookware needed. Bed and couch very comfortable, plenty of towels and robes provided as well. The views are spectacular. It is very secluded and private, and the owner is thoughtful and very communicative, even let us know of a local open mic night. Amazing all around

Utter Relaxation!!!

We drove up from Ct and when we got there we noticed the hot tub was already at the perfect temperature and it made our night.From then on everything about the house and the property was simply amazing.There are so many areas you can just walk to and it’s all yours.Listening to the river every night just put us right to sleep.If you don’t want to see or hear anyone,you don’t have to here.Amazing time!Cant wait to return.Thank you Lasse!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Lasse’s cabin is an oasis, a home away from home! The cabin has any thing you think you need and more! The best parts are evenings by the fire with fresh chopped wood! The place was very clean and in a perfect location. We can not wait to visit again!

Exceeds Expectations

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was the perfect blend of modern and rustic. It has amazing views (even though our entire trip was overcast or pouring), felt like private oasis and was a great place to both relax or use as a base for day trips. We enjoyed the wine and other thoughtful details at the cabin. Would highly recommend this cabin to couples looking to celebrate an anniversary or relax in peace.

Superb!

Beautiful cabin and surrounding property that exceeded our expectations. The cabin was modern, spacious, well-maintained & very clean. The Kitchen had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner & what a view while we cooked! The deck, fire pit & sound of the river made it perfect. The other very nice thing was being able to walk around the sizeable property by the river; the chairs at various spots were a nice touch. I was very impressed by Lasse’s quick & helpful responses to all my questions. Hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed. Thank you, Lasse!

Perfect Getaway

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, private place, this is it! Mt views are beautiful, the sound of the river relaxing! Other than the owner stopping by one day, we saw nobody. Shout out to nearby Dutton Farm stand and the general store for having gluten free options for my celiac husband!

The property was absolutely perfect for our small family of 3. The location was great, views were beautiful, and we couldn't have asked for a better mini vacation. We did have a couple minor issues, and the owner was very responsive and helped resolve them right away.

Amazing Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon. On top of it being beautiful, the cabin was clean and welcoming! We enjoyed our time together in the quiet location and explored the surrounding areas during the day. Lasse was an amazing host who checked in with us daily and ensured a wonderful stay. Perfect Getaway

Our stay was absolutely perfect! I wish I could rate higher than 5! The property is incredible, with some of the most amazing views. The house was immaculate and included everything you could need and more. The owner was fantastic and made our stay that much better with communication prior and during our stay. Perfect Cozy Cabin

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary - spectacular views, a wonderful kitchen, the perfect hot tub location and beautiful river access. This property is absolutely fantastic. Our host was an excellent communicator throughout the process. From booking to check out, he was helpful, responsive, and made sure we had all the information we needed every step of the way. This is the kind of place we could see ourselves coming back to again and again. Highly recommend.

Amazing

This place was awesome, have a beautiful view, love the jacuzzi and they know how to make you feel like home my kids have a blast with all the games it doesn't have a TV and we didn't miss it. The host is there for anything you need and making sure you feel comfortable, having the river steps away was perfect overall we are definitely coming back and I recommend it 100%, thanks for letting my family stays on your home. 😊

A Beautiful and Cozy Cabin with Modern Amenities

Loved our Stay! We skied at Mount Snow and hit the hot tub in the afternoon. The interiors of the house were excellent. Any concerns we had were promptly handled.

Perfect mountain getaway

My family of four stayed here for Thanksgiving and it was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful inside and out, Lasse’s cabin is peaceful, well kept, and perched on a mountainside overlooking a river and plot of land that will make all your wild Vermont dreams come true. As long as Lasse will have us, we will return.

A gorgeous cabin escape

Wow, the views and the property are some of the most amazing of any vacation rental I've stayed in! I am a mountain lover and if you are too, this is your place! If you have the chance to stay in Southern Vermont and want a place that is in the woods surrounded by so much of nature's beauty, while also being close enough to a vibrant town and other smaller quaint towns, look no further! Lasse, the owner, is wonderfully attentive and so willing to answer any questions and provide suggestions of places to explore and eat. His instructions were super clear and he was very communicative which I find so helpful. The cabin itself was very comfortable for my fiance and me. We dined in restaurants nearly every day we were there so we did not really use the kitchen except to reheat some food in the oven and stovetop, but the kitchen would have been perfect for us to prepare any homecooked meals with its gas stove, oven, and dishwasher. The bathroom was beautiful, modern, and spacious. The upstairs bedroom also had plenty of space for us to access our belongings and even hang many clothes in the closet. My favorite parts of the property were the views and access to Rock River. The amount of windows allowed breathtaking views of the sunrise in the main bedroom and downstairs. The deck, though we did not get to sit and enjoy it too much because it was either too cold or rainy because it was mid-November, provided a beautiful way to connect with your surroundings of the woods, mountains, and the river. Access to the trail to the river is right next to the house which was super convenient and private. Lasse really keeps this home and property so clean, which we both appreciate! We are definitely planning on going back again in the near future.

great cabin, met or exceeded expectations in every way

As promised was very clean and nicely renovated including a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views out back, nice walks along the river and in the woods. Enjoyed relaxing by the firepit evenings. Lasse is very helpful and informative.

Idyllic get-away

The cabin is beautifully appointed and full of charm. The kitchen is very well equipped. The setting is very private, and the views from the picture windows are stunning. You are definitely off the beaten path here, and have left the world behind. Very peaceful and serene. Lasse is a very attentive and helpful host. Highly recommended!

Relaxing and Amazing View

The home and property was perfect. The interior was extremely welcoming and homey. You can sit at the dining room table and open the back door and listen to the river and watch the light change over the beautiful mountains. Everything you need is there and available. It is close to restaurants and many wonderful drives. Would highly recommend this property.

Originally from Denmark, I have lived in the United States since 2003, with my US American wife and our bilingual son, Gabriele. I have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Conflict Transformation. A bit of a professional nomad, I currently enjoy making a living as an eco-carpenter, with a focus on full-house renovations in the lovely green mountains of Vermont.

I love skiing and snowboarding with my 17 year-old son and his friends, all now faster than me! Gabriele and I currently hold a season pass to Mount Snow, but we also love the laid-back, local feel of Magic Mountain (another of the local resorts).

I also enjoy (and agonize over) watching my home team "AGF" play soccer in the Danish Superliga (like the Red Sox was until 2004, we are a sleeping giant that has not won any trophy since 1996); losing myself for a while in online chess; and cycling around Denmark every year with my wife and son, soaking-in fickle Danish summers on the small islands that dot my homeland.

I am a jazz and blues fan, though I listen to enough Amy Winehouse that Gabriele tells me to turn it off! Our family got a rescue puppy, Cocoa, who I love very much (and she keeps me - relatively - fit with daily walks in the woods.

Finally, I love my work. Susie and I have long believed in buying primarily recycled and/or fairly traded items as our way of helping to reduce climate change and support livable wages. This log cabin is a reflection of our principles. It is a joy for me to find something old and work with my hands to restore it to its former beauty. Here is where my Danish design training - elegant form is as important as effortless function - meets the Vermont value of ingenuity and quality that lasts. I hope you feel this ethos, along with my joy in bringing it to you, in every room of the cabin.
