Location, privacy, king-size beds, great TV setup, and fast Wi-Fi — all in one place.
Bring the family for a beach vacation just 45 minutes from the Gulf, then return to the comfort of this 3-bedroom cottage. In town for a wedding? You’re only 4 minutes from the Grand Hotel and 7 minutes from downtown Fairhope with its great shopping and dining.
The cottage has a nice back porch, a large backyard, and privacy fencing on both sides. The entire place is yours — the owners do not live on or next to the property.
What makes this property special?
Privacy comes first.
I’d estimate that about 80% of short-term rentals have owners living on the property or right next door. We’re neither. You don’t have to feel like you’re being watched or checked on — just relax and enjoy your stay.
Location, without feeling crowded.
You’re minutes from downtown Fairhope and the Grand Hotel (we host a lot of wedding guests), yet the setting feels peaceful and almost country-like. Behind the cottage is a horse field, and the property has a big backyard with solid privacy fencing. If the beach is calling, the Gulf is only 44 minutes away.
A TV area that actually makes sense.
I love a good TV setup, and this cottage has one. Comfortable couch, plenty of seating for the family, and — this matters — the TV is mounted at eye level, not way up on the wall. No strained necks here. After a long day, it’s nice to come back and watch a good show or movie. If you use your streaming accounts, the Wi-Fi is very fast.
Beds matter. A lot.
Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds. After a full day of beach time, wedding events, or exploring Fairhope, that makes a difference.
Fully equipped kitchen & laundry.
If you’d rather stay in, the kitchen has everything you need — including a gas range. There’s also a washer and gas dryer, which our long-term guests especially appreciate.
Pet-free home.
No pets means no worries about allergies or pet dander.
Plenty of hot water.
In town for a wedding or event with five people needing showers? No problem. The cottage has a new oversized gas water heater — because cold showers are the worst.
Cleanliness matters.
Let’s get this out of the way — cleanliness is on everyone’s mind, and for good reason. We hold ourselves to high standards and do our best to keep the cottage spotless for every guest.
Extras that make it fun.
Large kitchen table for the whole family.
K-Cup coffee maker with coffee and creamer provided.
Covered putting green, Pictionary game with dry-erase board, bocce ball, cornhole, croquet, and kids’ board games — great for keeping everyone entertained.
Walk to dinner, easy grocery runs.
Fine-dining restaurant Char 32 is within walking distance across the street at the Point Clear Tennis Club. A brand-new Publix is less than five minutes away — and no stoplights on the way.
