I had a wonderful stay! The host quickly responded to any questions I had, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The apartment was clean, cozy, and very easy to access with the door code. I appreciated that apartment was clean and a great location for my stay! Great coffee shop, restaurants and pub within walking distance, with very easy access to public transportation. I enjoyed the comfort of the bed and pillows & the extra blankets available. I also very much appreciated that there was laundry soap provided for the washer. The sounds of a child and loud bangs coming from above were annoying at times, but did not spoil the stay. Hand soap and a trash can in the bathroom would be a great addition to this apartment. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our host was quickly responsive to my questions and was willing to work with me about an early check-in. The location was good for connecting with buses and the metro. The bedroom was a bit tight, but we weren’t there enough for it to be an issue. We did think that the mattress was a bit too soft. Overall it was great for the price, and we would stay there again.

My wife and I had a great time while on our vacation. The main concern was that parking was a bit of an issue, but manageable, but definitely research parking signs, etc. for D.C. Great price for the stay though.

Nice place - great host

Note the signs for street cleaning days before parking; we had no issue there. The address that popped up on the Maps site the day before was for the VRBO across the street, but Tambor got us straightened out. You may just want to check the address when you message ahead of time. The apartment is clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.

1st time using vrbo

Be aware of the parking policies if you are taking/using a car-just get clarity on the days and how long you can park from the host.This was our first time ever using a vrbo and it was definitely a learning experience-it is not like a hotel where you can talk to someone immediately and get help.

We didn’t spend a lot of time inside, mainly to sleep but although it’s on a smaller side, I thought it was very fairly priced and the host was great!

Two nights

Place was clean and pretty quiet. Never needed anything other to ask about parking but the host was super helpful and quick with a response. We stayed through a Wednesday and street cleaning happens on Wednesdays so that was definitely good to know. Just sure wherever you park, read the parking signs. Thanks again for having us and helping to keep our vacation special.

Start your day at BOL cafe

Quiet, in the heart of the city. 5 to 10 minutes' walk to an excellent cafe, BOL. 20 to 25 minutes walk to Union Market where there's a variety of restaurants and kiosks including Yellow for freshly made pita.It's approximately one hour's walk to the Smithsonian museums, all of which house amazing Art, and the African American history and culture museum was top of my list; amazing.We appreciated the spaciousness of this apartment and being able to do our laundry. Slept well each night. Would like to return to this place.
