Alerio is the newest condominium in Miramar Beach, the complex is located directly across the street from the sandy white beach. With on-site amenities that include gated entry, a sparkling blue swimming pool and hot tub, a grill area, the entire family will enjoy a memorable beach vacation! Wide paved sidewalks provide an easy walkway to the beach access just across the street. The area's best boutique and outlet shopping is just around the corner along with a wide variety of restaurants and eateries. Boating, fishing, water parks, golfing, night life and entertainment are all nearby.

“Warm and inviting” describes this beautifully furnished Alerio condo with hardwood floors and coastal decor. The living area offers a comfortable sleeper sofa, an HDTV, and access to the balcony with outdoor seating. The gourmet kitchen is complete with Amana stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is fully stocked with everything needed to whip up a meal for everyone. There is barstool seating for four at the kitchen bar.

The master suite offers a king bed, generous closet space, and leads to the master bath which is nicely appointed with a double sink granite vanity, soaking tub, and separate tiled shower. The guest bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and an HDTV. The guest bathroom is conveniently located and offers a bathtub/shower combination. For your convenience there is a stackable washer/dryer, and wifi is complimentary.

*There is only ONE parking pass allowed per unit - complex management rules, no exceptions. Close-by, off-site pay to park is available at Geronimo RV Park of Miramar Beach (0.4 mile). Guests will need to contact GRVP for their availability and pricing.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

Decent, but could use improvements.

Overall the condo was very convenient to the beach and close by restaurants and shops. The en suite bathrooms were nice and there was plenty of space. Upon arrival, there was quite a bit of residual sand on the living room carpet as well as cheerios and some small paper pieces of garbage. Housekeeping did remedy upon notification. The air conditioning was a problem - the owner has it set to go up to 75 degrees at 9 pm and there’s no way to change it without the owner code. Being pregnant, this was a huge problem. Eventually the owner was contacted but when we asked to have the setting moved to 70 at night - it was changed to 72. We noticed last night it was moved up to 73. The extra blanket was not clean and we had to use the one pack of laundry detergent provided for it. I found it odd that they asked upon booking if we were celebrating anything (we were - a babymoon, a 40th birthday, and a 14th birthday) and there was nothing set out or left for us. This is nit-picky but most VRBOs seem to do at least some kind of welcome basket. We found it odd there was one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and 2 trash bags. If you’re staying there a week or two - great, but it’s a huge pain to have to buy all of these items and laundry detergent for a 4 day stay. The TVs were extremely frustrating to use and no instructions were left about remotes, they were also incredibly slow. The pool is very small and looks nothing like the pictures online.

Great place

Great place! The condo was well kept, comfortable, and enjoyable. Only complaint is the lack of parking and this condo being in the very back of the complex. Parking isn’t a big deal, but someone else parked in our spot, making it difficult to find a quick solution. When you call after hours, there is a company who gets your message to the rental company, so you have to wait, which can be exhausting after a long day at the beach or if you go enjoy other activities. The walk to the beach access is less than 5 minutes. I would definitely stay here again! Also the gate safety was a great feature, so that not just anyone can walk in and out of the condo complex.

We can never get our vacation time back from that awful vacation.

We had noise from unit above from the beginning of vac. Reported to Beach Blue from 7:30 am to after 10:30 pm. Also contacted Real Joy as they rented out unit. After 3 weeks we left. They would not refund any $$. We were locked out of unit. Lock needed to be replaced because someone forgot to replace batteries. The couch is so broken down needs replacement. The furniture was stained and had to be cleaned/Did not get stains out. One slat is broken on bedroom blind. Towel bar was hanging in 2nd bathroom and repaired. Left mess plus set can of plaster on lv room furniture leaving plaster ring for us to clean. Will absolutely not stay there again or rent from Beach Blue. We paid a lot of $$ to stay there.

Overall good, but with quirks

Overall, the condo was nice and is a short walk to the beach. The apartment is cozy and great for getaways. My biggest grip is the freezer was not working. My son's ice cream birthday cake melted in the freezer. Also, be sure to bring toilet paper and paper towels. The management provides one roll in the kitchen and one roll in each bathroom. I've never seen such thin toilet paper in my life. Gas station rest rooms have better toilet paper than what was provided. For the amount of money paid for our stay they could at least give us decent generic toilet paper, but these people gave us rolls rejected by the dollar store!

Liked everything about our unit EXCEPT the parking! You’re limited to one designated parking spot and that’s it…our kids wanted to rent a golf cart so we did, got to the condo and was a written a warning citation because we were “blocking grills”. Other than that, everything else was great. But y’all need to do something about that parking!!

Awesome!!!

The property was neat ,very nice and comfy… Any problem I had was promptly addressed by management.. … The splash pad and the pool was a hit for the kids especially with the ongoing pandemic… My only complaint is that there is need for a bigger pool to accommodate the multiple condos…

A good stay if you're going to be at the beach all day.

Reviewer Comments: The unit itself is very clean with plenty of space for 6 or possibly more guests. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is very functional. The location is fantastic as it's a simple cross walk to the beach entrance. But plan to spend about 20-40 minutes driving west towards most of the big city attractions in Destin.Our biggest gripe regarding our trip is by far the parking situation. It's abysmal. Only one car per unit. Perfect for small families with one car. But going in groups two or more will have one pay $25 a day as a "deal" with an RV park two streets down. If Alerio states on the parking sheet that they secured a deal with Geronimo to allow guests park there, it should be free. Another thing that irked our group. They include only 2 rolls of toilet paper (one in each bathroom), and one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. So between 6 people that all goes rather quickly. When asked by Alerio management if we needed anything, we brought up that we would like one more roll of each just to tide us for the rest of our stay. We were quickly told we were SoL and had to go buy our own. The locked closet in the unit obviously has more there already for the cleaning staff. Was it so hard to send someone with a key? We as a collective group have all stayed several dozen resorts/instant hotels/AirBnBs/etc and not one of the 6 of us has ever been told something like that for a basic necessity item. It comes off as incredibly stingy for such a small item that could just made our trip a little bit easier and eliminated a trip to the store. I'd recommend Alerio for a small family or group that can fit in one car-- and have plans to spend a large majority of their stay at the beach. If you're a larger group or you want to spend more time in town, then I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

Wonderful location directly across from the beach with super easy access. Right next to a few restaurants and a surf shop. Less than a mile from the grocery store. The only thing I would change is it is a bit dark in the evening but overall would rebook!

Perfect getaway in Destin!

We throughly enjoyed staying at this property. We have been to Destin many times, and this is a top rated place for us. The only con is that you have 1 parking spot per condo. Otherwise, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend!

Girls getaway

Overall the property ws great, just a few things that could help. There was no place to hang our towels. Just a few more hooks on the wall would be a nice feature. There were also no condiments at all. Salt and pepper would have been nice. Also, they only left the toilet paper on the wall for us to use. They were not full at all so for just 4 days we ran out as well as only one trashbag and one dish washing detergent. At least two would have been nice. Location was great and the room as a whole was nice. Thanks again.
