Villa Rosea is a beachfront villa with beach and crystal clear sea-water, located in Croatia, heart of Adriatic coast, in the beautiful village called Slatine (a quiet getaway place on the Island of Ciovo).
Villa Rosea is placed far away from any traffic noise, providing a peaceful and picturesque vacation.

This spacious apartment occupies the entire second floor of our family home, offering privacy and comfort.

The renting area contains 4 bedrooms,4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, living room, dining room and big private terrace on the second floor (seaward side) accommodating up to nine people.

Our family lives on the first floor, so we’re nearby and happy to help whenever needed.

On the ground floor, there’s a separate apartment for 2 guests, and 4 campers are available next to the house. The pool is shared exclusively between guests of the two apartments, ensuring a relaxing experience.

Whether you’re here to unwind, explore the island, or enjoy our family’s organic olive groves, this apartment provides a cozy and convenient base for your stay.



The property encompasses 2200sq/m of old pine trees, lush gardens with fruit trees, and paved areas which give direct access to the beach, where you can sunbathe, swim, dive and sail.


The sea experience speaks for itself. Just look at the pictures and you will get the impression of all the natural beauties that wait for you here. Once you come, you will never want to leave.



This place is the perfect starting point towards the surrounding famous Croatian islands, and is ideally situated between the fabulous, energetic city of Split and the more mellow, yet equally gorgeous, seaside town of Trogir.

It is truly a withdrawal for those, who are looking for to get away from everyday occurrence.


The villa is located just 10 km from Split airport, 8 km from Trogir town (part of UNESCO heritaghere), 30 km from city of Split (also part of UNESCO heritage). The island of Ciovo is connected to the mainland by a bridge. There are a lot of opportunities for exciting day trips and to embark from the area - you can park your vehicles securely on-site.

Thank you very much for your review. We are glad that you liked the location and we, the hosts. I can honestly say that the installations are not bad. The installations comply with all the prescribed standards of the European Union. So far, none of our previous guests have complained about the installations. Most of the furniture in the apartment has been recently replaced. We plan to replace the rest of the furniture soon. We are constantly investing in the quality of the accommodation, so we have built an outdoor infinity pool from the summer of 2025. We certainly believe that the price-quality ratio is worth much more than the rating you gave us. My statement is certainly confirmed by a large number of reviews. The overall rating at the moment is 9.4

Croatia Villa

This house was perfect for a month stay in late May, early June. The scenery is beautiful. Mislov was very nice and picked us up from the airport. We were there for a month with a rotating cast of family and friends. The only negative was construction on the house and pool for 2 of the 4 weeks....the noise was difficult and he kept saying only 2 more days, which wasn't the case. The house is comfortable and not fancy. Kitchen was well equipped, having laundry onsite was helpful. The town is sleepy and wonderful for 'getting away'. Slatine is close to Trogir and Split with easy connections via bus and ferry to both. I would definitely stay here again.

Großzügige Wohnung direkt am Meer

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Ein paar Eckdaten: Entspannte und hilfsbereite Vermieter, Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem Bad und Klimaanlage, Möbel dort wunderbar, Esszimmer ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem super ausreichend, haben wir eh nicht genutzt, Küche top, Weg zum Meer über Hof, Bucht nett aber klein, Wasser sehr sauber, keine Quallen, leider hat sich während unseres Urlaubs eine große Gruppe aus einem benachbarten Haus jeden Tag morgens mit Sonnenschirmen und Handtüchern den besten Platz in der Bucht besetzt, wir waren aber eh nur zum Schwimmen und Aussicht genießen unten und sind dann wieder auf den supergroßen Nordbalkon mit Schatten gegangen. Trogir wunderschön, gut mit Auto und Schiff zu erreichen, wie auch Split, aber Achtung: Das letzte Schiff fährt um 20 Uhr!

Slatine ist ein Urlaub wert

Sehr schöne große und saubere Wohnung. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer was sehr angenehm ist. Der Balkon traumhafter Blick auf die Bucht von Split und zum Strand ca 1 Minute zu Fuß. Mit der Fähre 30 min nach Split oder Trogir. Netter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Gerne wieder

Perfect peaceful getaway

No crowds, no ruckus, no loud music hammering nearby in the evening - just peace, quiet, gorgeous view and a small enchanting beach. Apartment is clean, comfy and according to description. There's a handful of campers parked in the vicinity, their residents respecting the place's tranquiliy. Owners are friendly, unobtrusive and always happy to help. Absolutely recommend!

Un bel appartement au 1er étage d'une villa avec 4 belles chambres, toutes équipées d'une climatisation indépendante, d'une loterie de bonne qualité et d'une salle de bain privative. Le tout avec une belle terrasse et vue sur la mer et une belle petite plage de galets à quelques dizaines de mètres... Que demander de plus en vacances ?

Perfekter Familienurlaub am Meer

Die grosse Terrasse, 2 neuwertige Doppelbetten und 2 neue Bäder waren Luxus. Die restlichen Möbel haben schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Es ist aber alles vorhanden :Geschirrspüler, Kaffeemaschine, sogar eine Waschmaschine. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da wir zu fünft anreisten konnten wir uns die schönen Zimmer aussuchen, somit kein Problem. Restaurants, Bäcker und der Supermarkt sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Objekt, genau wie beschrieben. grosse Sonnenterrasse, ausreichend Schatten. In der Wohnung alles vorhanden, Vermieter top, grillten sogar fangfrischen Fisch gratis für uns!!! Ausserordentlich hilfsbereit. Prädikat: sehr empfehlenswert

Ruhige 10 Tage am Meer

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und die große Terrasse und das nahe Meer sehr genossen. Mislav wohnt mit seiner Familie darunter und hat sich gut um uns gekümmert. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden um länger Urlaub zu machen von Klimaanlage, Waschmaschine über zwei Kühlschränke, Herd und Mikrowelle. Wir durften auch den Holzgrill nutzen und haben frischen Fisch vom Fischmarkt in Trogir gegrillt. Vor dem Haus werden ein halbes Dutzend Campingplätze von Mislav vermietet. Alle waren aber ruhig und rücksichtsvoll , ab und zu feierten ein paar Kroaten am Strand was uns aber nicht störte. Slatine ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und hat Bäcker, Restaurants, Strandbars, Hafen mit Fähren nach Split und Trogir. Es war sicher nicht unser letzter Urlaub dort

Wir waren mit 2 Familien hier und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Wohnung ist schön, man hat 4 Zimmer jeweils mit Bad, einen großen Küchen- Ess-Wohnbereich und zusätzlich eine sehr große, angenehm schattige Terrasse. Das Meer ist nur wenige Treppenstufen entfernt in einer kleinen Kiesbucht, die man sich nur mit wenigen Menschen der angrenzenden Häuser teilt (fast privat) mit glasklarem Wasser. Auch hier gibt es natürlichen Schatten oder man geht zurück auf die Terrasse. Zum Hafen mit Bäckerei, Fisch, Restaurants und kleinem Lebensmittelgeschäft sind es 300m. Die Kinder freuten sich auch über den Bolzplatz am Hafen. Mit einer Personenfähre ist man in 25 Minuten im malerischen Split. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub mit sehr netten Vermietern. Gerne wieder!

This house is perfect for a large family gathering. Mislav is the kindest person.

Mislav was very accomadating with a early check in - and change of plans we had to make. Mislav drove us to the grocery store and even helped us shop! The house is perfect for large family or friends. Every bedroom has a bathroom . The balcony and view were amazing. Mosquitos were a problem at night. The living room needs a fan or screens on the door then the ac would not need to be used. The breeze was perfect- but could not open the door due to mosquitoes. The bedrooms have screen doors. The only other thing that was bothersome- the house was not a smoke free home. (This was stated on the detail listing of the house- in all fairness, we knew the house was smoked in. I just had not expected the home to have a smoke smell - my bad) This is not a issue for many people- but for non smokers it’s a problem. The kitchen was well equipped and had the best pots and pans of any rental we have stayed in. I would love to return to Mislav’s house- we had a excellent time. Thanks for your kindness Mislav !

The property was nice and big 4 spacious bedrooms all with on suite bathrooms. There was a beach 10 metres from the apartment which was like a private beach 🏖 as there was never any body on it. The owners were really helpful without being intrusive.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage , ruhig , direkt bei der Fähre nach Spli und Torgir , ein Auto muss man dort nicht haben . Schöner Balkon mit Blick auf das Wasser und eine Wohnung mit viel Platz.

Schönes großes Appartment in sehr ruhiger Lage

Eine super Ferienwohnung, komplett ausgestattet, ideal für eine große Familie(wir waren 5 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder). Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man konnte sich auf Englisch recht gut verständigen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Ferienwohnung wärmstens weiterempfehlen!!!

Fantastic, we will be back

7 of us had a great week, 4 adults & 3 children, during our stay with Mislav on our first visit to Croatia. Apartment was everything we could have asked for, clean, spacious, huge balcony and an almost private beach on the doorstep for us. The apartment is about 200 yards from the local harbour, so easy enough for a short walk to shops and restaurants, which was good as we didn't have a car (really no need for a car here, unless you want to travel further afield). Mislav was a fantastic host, and nothing was too much trouble for him, from blowing up water toys to dropping us at the ferry terminal. Always on hand if need be, but did not intrude on our privacy in any way. Thanks for a great week!

Sehr schöne große Fewo für eine Großfamilie, Superlage direkt am Wasser

Wir waren mit der halben Verwandschaft dort (9 Personen). 4 Schlafzimmer/5 Bäder passte genau für uns. Das Gemeinschaftsleben spielte sich auf der Riesen-Terasse ab. Von dort hatte man einen schönen Blick aufs Meer bis rüber nach Split. Die Lage war recht ruhig, kein Durchgangsverkehr. Ab und zu hörte man ein paar Flugzeuge, der Flughafen war ja nicht so weit weg (wir sind ja selbst damit angereist). Kleinere Probleme bei der Ausstattung behoben die Vermieter kurzfristig, Die wohnen ja unten drin und waren sehr freundlich, die Kommunakation auf Englisch ging recht gut. Insgesamt vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis eine runde Sache.

Rustic property close to the sea.

I stayed here with a group of 7 friends. The accommodation was ideal for us having four bedrooms with ensuite facilities. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well provided with crockery, equipment and utensils. Although it does not have a swimming pool, it is very close to a little cove for swimming in the sea. Only problem is that you need beach shoes as it has pebbles rather than sand. The large verandah provides a lovely shaded area in which to relax. The owners live in the lower floor and are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing Terrasse

We had a great over all experience. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. We traveled as a family (Couple with two kids) and all used only the most modern one though. One bedroom and kitchen are modern, the rest of the apartment hasn’t been renovated for a while. Everything is very clean, there is a big terraces on each side so you can walk out from every room. The big seafront terrace is just amazing and nicely furnished so you have to – if the weather is nice don’t have to move anywhere. There just isn’t any better view anywhere else. The small beach right in front is nice for swimming and our kids loved it. As there is no sand but pebbles water shoes might be useful. There are two supermarkets in walking distance (5 to 10 minutes) and the ferry to Split or Trogir and some restaurants are also walkable within 5 to 10 minutes). Mislav and his parents are the perfect hosts. Always there when you need them, because they live below, but respecting our privacy at all times. We’d go back there any time! Our house ''Villa Rosea'' is managed by me, my sister Rozana and my parents.

In free time I like to travel, visit new places and taste different food and of course wine.

Tourism in our family is a very long tradition which has started even before I was born. My grandparents had their first guests in 1969 so I am very proud to say that my family has a lot of experience in tourism.
