Black Rock Beach House is a luxury waterfront vacation home situated at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. It is your unparalleled vantage point for crashing breakers, whale spotting, or some reflective beach combing. Black Rock Beach House is a Cape Cod style home designed to make your stay the ultimate West Coast experience. The main floor is an open floor plan that extends to the deck then ocean, allowing you to cook, dine, and relax without ever forgetting that you right on the Pacific. The kitchen has heated floors, soapstone counter tops, stainless appliances , an island and a massive harvest table which is great for dinner parties. French doors open to the deck that runs the length of the house, with room for all to relax and enjoy the endless flow of the ocean. Full sized laundry facilities and a powder room are also situated on the main floor of the house. The Timber Room allows you an outdoor experience should the elements suggest an alternative to your beach fire. Relax in the mighty cedar room in front of a roaring stone fireplace. Through french doors there is a built in stainless steel grill on the patio for you to barbecue with a view while talking with friends in the hot tub. Upstairs offers three ocean front bedrooms with decks and spectacular views. The sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep and then greet you each morning. There are ample facilities include two deep soaking tubs, a steam shower, and a standard shower. Connection with the environment is paramount, and you will experience the ocean from every room in the house. Situated near the Wild Pacific Trail, the house is a perfect base for all the Pacific Rim has to offer. Hiking, cycling, kayaking, surfing. whale watching, fishing .....,there is something for everyone that loves the outdoors! Pleasae note this luxury property does have a caretaker on site per the municipality ordinance. They have their own residence and it is not a privacy issue withour guests.

The town of Ucluelet, fine dining, and spa facilities are all within walking distance.

Exceptional home in a beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the sunsets in the evening and beginning our walks on the Wild Pacific Trail from the beach in front of the house. Everything was so well stocked - we couldn’t have asked for a better location to spend a quiet week getting away from everything.

Amazing weekend away

For our third visit, again we were wow’ed by this lovely place. This weekend was pure relaxation for us, but the location also gives many opportunities for adventure. Amazing place to stay

Gorgeous oceanfront stay

We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful home and had a wonderful time. It was immaculately clean, had excellent amenities and very thoughtful touches. We would definitely recommend this to friends and I hope we get to visit again.

Dream week in Vancouver Island

We could not have asked for a better place to call "home" for the week. Our family spent time building fires, collecting shells, cooking seafood and star gazing. This home is truly a special place and we cannot wait to go back.

This is one of the most beautiful homes in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. We had so much fun exploring the tide pools and could walk directly to the wild pacific trail. The home had everything we could need. It was perfect.

Everything you could ask for and more

There were 6 of us fishing for 3 days. It was wonderful to come home to a full kitchen, all the amenities and a hot tub. The view from the outside porch over the sea and the short walk down the path to the beach was so very nice. The beds were quite comfortable as well. Overall, one of the best and most well equipped VRBO’s I have ever stayed at

Wild Pacific whale watching from deck hot tub

Absolutely wonderful large home , beautifully and comfortably decorated with more than enough space for a family of 7 adults to eat, sleep and live in front of the fireplace, at the lovely long dining table or on the deep leather couches. Great tide pool , bald eagle and whale watching!

Oceanfront Paradise

If you enjoy the outdoors and beautiful view ,it’s a perfect property , excellent fishing close by . Hiking trails , beaches everything within walking distance . Deer in front of the house every morning . The tidal pools are very good for shelling and exploring . The house has everything you need , well stocked kitchen , feels like I was at my own cottage. Highly recommend!

Black Rock Beach house

The property was wonderful, we very much enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is that there was no shower in the master en suite bathroom. The one large tub in between the upstairs bathrooms was quite sufficient, we didn’t need a second one in the master suite. King-size bed was very comfortable. Loved both fireplaces and the deck.

Family vacation

The views were amazing from the time we walked in the door. The house is clean, in great condition, and we appreciate the quality of dishes and cookware. The kitchen was fully stocked right down to the seasonings and everything was tidy, matched sets, and clean. The furniture is in great shape and comfortable, the porch is awesome, we have nothing but positive remarks for this property. This is what a VRBO property should be, and we plan to come back.

Tidepools to drool over

This was an exceptional property and vacation! Although we weren’t aware until arriving that a portion of the home was partitioned off and occupied by tenants, we found that it had no affect on our stay at all. The home is gorgeous, has everything you might need, and the property was unlike any place we’ve stayed before. The sunsets, the almost-private bay, the tidepools - all breathtaking. Barb was lovely, kind, and very responsive. If we are so lucky as to come back one day, we would stay here in a heartbeat!

Comfort and Beauty at Black Rock

Black Rock Beach House is exquisitely situated on a rocky cove with a view of nature unhampered by any buildings, streets or wires. It alone is worth the price of admission. Add to that a large and comfortable living space with a well-equipped kitchen where we cooked all our meals, comfortable bed, large flat screen TV viewable from both the dining table and a large leather sofa, along with a washer, dryer, and heating system that were easy to use, and the Wild Pacific Trail pretty much right outside your door, and you have the ideal holiday getaway. Oh, and good communication prior and during our stay. Would we come back - you bet!

Luxury Accommodation Immersed in Nature

We spent 4 amazing nights in this wonderful home that is immersed in nature. The write up on the house is accurate but doesn't truly capture the essence of this beautiful house and property. Thoughtfully and tastefully decorated with lots of space for people to come together in comfort. We spent countless hours on the deck in sunshine (amazing for UKE) watching the waves crashing in on the rocks/beach. We were treated to an early morning display by a small pod of orcas off shore. All without leaving this wonderful home and deck. The views from every angle in the house were astounding. We will be back.

What an amazing place !

Our group of friends were very excited to stay at this property having checked out the pictures on the website. When we arrived we were certainly not disappointed. The property is stunning throughout. It is even better than the pictures online! We have stayed in some pretty special places but this house beats them all. Very tastefully decorated. Absolutely amazing views. Every home comfort taken care of. The kitchen is so well equipped. The beds extremely comfortable. Fireplace very cozy. Views are breathtaking. Location very convenient for Wild Pacific Trail. Would totally recommend this place and we will definitely return. (We even saw orca from Black Rock Resort (the hotel round the corner) when we stopped in for an after walk drink. It was right outside this property! )

Someone else is living in the house with you

Really beautiful house in a great location. The part of the property you actually stay in was great (although slightly quirky...e.g. no shower in the master, no drawers for clothing, etc.) The unwelcome surprise was that the front section of the property is occupied by long-term renters. When you look at the beautiful picture of the house, you are only renting the back 2/3 of it. We had no problems with the tenants, that wasn't the issue. The problem was that the listing suggests you are renting a standalone house, whereas you're really renting a duplex and your neighbors are 10 meters away. I wish they had clarified this before our stay: we paid top dollar for privacy that we didn't actually get.

Best Ocean Views💜

Our group of moms has been doing an annual trip since 1996. We were delighted with the well appointed home and blown away by the world class ocean views from every window. The kitchen was second to none and just the open concept had everyone connecting and enjoying whatever they decided to do…playing board games, knitting, reading and preparing meals for one another. Our souls are refreshed our relationships deepened and our love of hiking and beach fires completely fulfilled. .

A little piece of paradise!

We just had the most lovely stay at Black Rock Beach House. Barb was great to communicate with, and super helpful. The house was gorgeous, sparkling clean, exactly as pictured, and very comfortably appointed. Everything you need is there. Which is great, because you won't want to leave. All you'll want to do is sit out on the deck, or on the big comfy couch, watching the waves crash on your own private cove. Or take a soak in the hot tub, or in one of the two big bathtubs. Or lounge in front of a cozy wood or gas fire. So many cozy choices. We loved it so much, we're planning to go back next year. 14/10 would recommend.

Comfort in Ucluelet

Black Rock Beach House is an exceptional property. The house and it's amenities were easy to navigate, extremely comfortable, and a feast for the artistic eye. We just booked for next year!
