Gorgeous Bay Front! Located in prime Manasota Key on a tiny quiet island Street, the ultra-charming Blue Island Inn
offers absolutely spectacular Lemon Bay views! Low-key respectful vacationers only as this is a nice peaceful beach community. Located
just 1.5 mile to TWO popular beaches (Englewood Beach and Blind Pass), 6 loved restaurants & Tiki Bars with frequent live music and tropical
drinks. Guests love Stumpy's popular free (tip based) shuttle service which runs around Manasota Key.

Guests have access to upstairs Villa Seaglass and also to Blue Island Inn's common area amenities: pool, our sandy “Lemon Bay-front beach” in backyard, fishing dock (no boat docking), Ping-Pong, laundry room.




Rental car is most popular, most affordable option for most people (or driving your own car). Uber and Lyft are also options. Stumpy’s Free Ride is a very popular tip-based shuttle service to get around easily on the Key.


- ONE parking spot per Villa at blue Island Inn. Sorry no visitor parking. No oversize vehicles. No boat parking or boat docking due to insurance restrictions

Each of our places has Free WIFI, Beach towels, folding beach chairs, Sand toy set & all linens provided. Charcoal grills (guest to provide own charcoal). Free use of our laundry room on main floor. Kids must be 6 years old or older to stay here.

***Smart TV - login to your favorite tv streaming service from home with your own login info from home. OR enjoy basic free channels on our smart TV (no cable/dish. just smart tv. For popular sports games, End Zone or Lock n Key are popular with sports fans.

Free shared use of swimming pool, Bay-front beach area, Fishing Dock, outdoor seating, outdoor Ping-Pong table, and self-serve Tiki Bar area.
-Pool is heated in winter months from December 1 to April 1

Free shared use of our 2 kayaks (for age 21 & up) to explore picturesque Lemon Bay. Dolphins often spotted.

- Blind Pass Beach has great sharks tooth hunting, restrooms & free daytime parking lot (best to go early to park or call Stumpy's shuttle ride)
- Englewood beach has small parking fee, picnic tables, beach yoga, playground & many popular restaurants across the street.

Like hotels - we supply "starter supplies" - toilet paper, folded paper towels, sample size coffee, tea, etc. to get you going -- then there's a Dollar Tree nearby or grocery stores if you want additional supplies.

Very relaxing and quiet. We really enjoyed the view! Sitting on the dock and watching the fish jump was one of favorite things to do. Although there were other visitors in the apartments, we didn’t hear them at all. It was a very enjoyable stay.

The view of the bay was beautiful. The amenities were perfect as the rental had everything needed for our stay. The washer and dryer was brand new and made laundry convenient.

Such a cozy relaxing place. The area was walkable. Pool was the warmest I’ve ever had and so clean!!! The host was always dropping ideas for area fun and goings on. Easy to understand and well posted directions for everything from travel to arrival and departure. Would love to come back with a group of girls or another couple!

Beautiful Bayside Spot

We loved our stay here. It is a secluded spot right on the bay. So you can enjoy the pool, beach, fish and the small town that’s 1.5 miles up the road. Owner was great and process was smooth too.

Nice getaway

Seaglass Villa was a cute little unit that afforded great views of the sunrise each morning. The location was close to the beach & some fun restaurants & vacation options. A really nice winter getaway for those of us from the frigid north.

Loved the location

Location of property was perfect. Dock access is perfect for fishing or just drinking a cup of coffee watching the sun rise with an occasional glimpse of a pair of dolphins. The property is just a short walk to the beautiful private beach.
