Great Getaway!

We had a blast staying at Stump Pass! The rooms were clean and new. Well stocked apartment with privacy when you needed it or wanted it. Steps from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and nice bars. Hope you will have us back in the future. Dr. Gresham

Last minute spring break trip

Everything was as listed. We enjoyed our stay. If you are traveling with teenage girls do note that 1 bathroom with only 1 mirror might be tight. The property owner was great and everything was very clean and just like it was listed. Overall, we’d definitely come back!

Cute, friendly little cottage stay

Stay was great, place was very cute and close to the beach. Other guests were great besides the above neighbors who were very foot heavy when they were there. We didn’t get to use some of the amenities but all were convenient. Beach was a lot less busy than the others which I like. Local shops and food were good. Walking at night & morning was refreshing esp sitting on the beach and watching the storms. Over all…we will be back!

Great location and clean. Should give more than 2 rolls of tp for someone staying 14 days. Great laundry area. Thought we would have use of pool but didn’t.

Very noisey

The people in the upstairs apartment stopped the whole time we were there. No consideration for the guests below them. And the lady staying up there would shake out her beach stuff on the back deck knowing we were sitting down below.

Such a great stay. Best equipped VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. All the toys handy for the beach and water. Host was fantastic and very responsive.

Very nice vacation spot.

Our suite was very nice and clean. There are so many amenities included, that we stayed busy from day light till dark. I definitely suggest taking out the kayaks. They have carts to help transport them. Everything shuts down at dark, so there isn’t much of a night life (that we experience.) We will definitely be going back!

Family Vacation

Loved our week stay in unit 4! So many pros, if you're thinking about Stump Pass Place you won't be disappointed. The 1 bedroom units are small but it was great for myself, my husband and our 6 & 9 year old! No complaints from our little family!

Amazing vacation and great location!

We had a wonderful stay. There were 10 of us and we rented 3 units and had plenty of room. It was one of our favorite beaches. The kids loved riding the bikes to the beach. We will definitely be back. We found lots of sharks teeth and shell. It was a blast!

Very clean place

The place was super clean. The kitchen had all the tools needed to cook a few times during our stay. There is a great fresh fish market just down the road. We really loved having the bikes and rode them a lot - even to dinner a few times. If you don’t mind having an on-site pool and not being right on the beach, this is a great place to stay. We wished we had a pool to use. The one mentioned in the description was back over on the mainland, so we never drove to it. The few things we didn’t care for: The AC unit in the living room struggled to keep the area cool enough. The bed was way to soft for our liking. I ended up sleeping on the pullout bed. The kayaks were very difficult to get down to the launching site. Getting them off the racks and in the carts was not easy. We only used them once bc of this. Even though there is no cut through to the beach, we discovered that we could ride the bikes up the street to one of the side streets (we liked Friendship Ln), there is easy public beach access there. Overall, we enjoyed our trip. Very relaxed area that has no high rise condo buildings.

We love Stump Pass Place!

This was the second year in a row staying at Stump Pass Place, and we can't wait to visit again! This condo was perfect for my two girls and me for spring break. We love that it's within a short walk of the beach, and they have a shed full of all the beach supplies you'd ever really need, from beach umbrellas and chairs to boogie boards and coolers with wagons to transport everything to/from the beach. They also offer a bunch of stand-up paddle boards and kayaks for guest use. We also enjoyed using the area's FREE shuttle service to get to/from the local restaurants, which eliminated the hassle of finding a place to park around the more popular areas. There's a shuttle stop literally right in front of the property. The owner is super helpful and easy to contact, quick to respond. I thought I had a minor issue last year, and Peter came right out within minutes to assist me and resolve the situation. I was super impressed! I hope to enjoy Stump Pass Place again next year! Thank you for another great vacation, Stump Pass Place!

Great location - everything you need for the beach and more!!!

Laundry facility was clean and awesome. Everything you need is here for a nice vacation - heater, cooking items you name- it was on the property! We took our grandson to get sharks teeth and he found over 200 in two days. Relaxing vacation and location! We stayed 4 nights and plan to go back soon

Great Place Close to Beach

Very nice rooms with plenty of amenities, including beach gear and kayaks. Close to the Stump Pass State Park which has a very nice beach and trails. Also located within walking distance to the restaurants and bars located on Englewood Beach. Owners are very responsive.

Just the girls!

Had a wonderful time. Wasn’t crowded and did nothing but lounge around. This was a vacation with some “older” individuals who could have used the mentioned tricycles but they were not onsite. It ended up working out as it rained every evening when we would have used them anyway. Also, it wasn’t mentioned anywhere but on the side of the fridge in the rental that you’re supposed to pay $3/day/person for Stump Pass Beach! Had an assume time though! Great restaurants in the area and there’s even a free shuttle if you have a few too many at the bar!

The Perfect Place!

It was my boyfriend and I’s first vacation together and we had an amazing time. Everything about the property and the area was perfect. It was clean and was exactly like the pictures showed. Everyone who stayed in the other suites were super friendly when we ran into them but it is still private when you are in your own area. The amenities truly are unbeatable and everything is in perfect condition. If you want to enjoy the beach and the ocean this is the place to go. The water and the bay were crystal clear and so warm. It was better than I could have ever imagined it to be. We saw lots of dolphins and a manatee!! We loved the restaurant the lighthouse grille and got to see dolphins and alligators while eating on the patio! We also recommend the sand bar tiki and grille for a fun night and live music. We collected lots of shells and shark teeth on the beach and took a trip on the nature trail. It was a decent walk but definitely a must when you go to the beach. We fished as well and the kayaks and paddle boards came in handy. We did not rent a car so the bikes were the perfect thing for us. It was safe to bike anywhere we wanted to go and the perfect beach town. It is definitely family friendly and the area is nice and cozy. We both agreed we would definitely return to this property sometime in the future. Definitely take a trip here!! Everything is well maintained and everyone is very friendly down here so book this property if you want to visit this area, it truly is amazing!!

After exploring Florida's Gulf coast for the perfect slice of paradise we kept coming back to the little unknown island called Manasota Key. The perfect mix of peace and quite, nature, and some fun Key West style restaurants just up the road. Anything else you need or want is just off island .

Our home sits on the southern tip of the Island and is next to Stump Pass State Park. Come smell the fresh salt air!
