We loved our stay at this apartment in London. It was close to public transportation, clean and above all, the host was very accommodating. Also, there are many gold pubs and restaurants near the apartment. I would recommend this place!
Excellent, clean apartment in great location. Owner was quick to respond to questions. We loved it and would visit again.

Great location
It is a bottom flat but well lit. Be prepared for people walking above you at all hours. Also stairs to walk down to flat. Check in was great very clean.

Dear Cathie,
We are really sorry you didn’t find our garden flat quiet enough for your staying.
As an Edwardian conversion the floors are still made of wood which tends yo carry sounds further than concrete.
Further the spring to summer season comes with longer days with people being active enjoying daylight till much later.
We welcome to enjoy our property again complimentary for 48hs during the queter season
Please do not hesitate to contact directly should you be interested in taking advantage of our offer
Fabulous neighborhood. Quiet but close to everything. About 7 minutes walk to Gloucester road underground station. Walkable to Natural History Museum. Pubs and restaurants galore. Overall great stay.
Wonderful location, beautiful neighborhood and nice flat. Great choice for up to 2 couples, we decided against adding a fifth guest on the sofa bed. It would have been too cramped.
"Marvelous" is a bit strong, but it is pleasant and we were given a very nice reception. The second bathroom was not what we expected - no shower and a tiny sink. We were glad our companion had cancelled. But the location was just what we wanted, the street was quiet, and I did enjoy the garden. The apartment is very well equipped. We especially appreciated the laundry facilities. We love the South Kensington neighborhood and found the transportation around the city to be easy.
We had a magical trip to London. We did everything on our bucket list. We loved this home. The guys loved the pubs nearby after a busy day of sightseeing. The girls enjoyed Aer blowdry bar that kept us looking our best all week. We had a very safe place to stay with market shopping and coffee bars nearby. We were a hop skip and a jump from the underground and know that if we ever return to London we would not hesitate to stay at this place again.
Enjoyed our stay. Flat was in a great location, was clean and had all that we needed for our stay in London. The check in was wonderful and Monika walked us through all that we needed to know for our stay. She was very helpful and kind. The only thing you should be aware of is there are two fights of stairs so if you are handicapped this would not be the best location for you to stay
Firstly, there is nothing wrong with this apartment - it's small but ok for two people. My major problem was that the listing does not state it's a basement apartment - this means below surface level in London with the windows peeking over the pavements. I would never have stayed here had i know that. However, upside is very efficient team on the ground. And..it's also really not luxury. i would describe it as comfortable.

Dear Matthew, we are really sorry we failed your expectations. We endeavour to provide the best stying experience we can within or central London facility and we can assure you and our future guests that we have already upgraded the rooms furnishings and complimentary toiletries provided (That was indeed already planned before your stay). We also apologise for not having clearly stated the apartment was lower/ground as often happens in London with appartment with access to garden facilities. In our defence we thought the rear patio picture would clearly give it away. We thank you for your kind appreciation of our staff level of service and we wish you pleasant stays with WRBO facilities in the future
We loved the apartment with its modern, elegant décor, private terrace, views of the lawn and trees in the adjacent communal garden, and birdsongs. The apartment is on a quiet side street in the heart of South Kennsington. We walked around the corner for the best, inventive Spanish tapas we have ever had, as well as an excellent Michelin-starred French restaurant. A top-notch butcher, small grocery store, helpful wine merchant, and superb French boulangerie with croissants, etc. were also nearby. A short walk took us to the South Ken shopping district, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the South Kennsington Underground stop that took us anywhere else we wanted to go. The kitchen was well-supplied, and beds were comfortable. Room-darkening curtains in the master bedroom were a nice touch, given that we like to sleep in a dark room. Since our teenage son decided not to come on the trip, we used the other bedroom as a dressing room. We highly recommend this apartment.

Misleading description of apt.
Half bath was miserable-tiny, tiny sink with glass shelf tilted downward which blocked access. Toilet seat moved all over, even after supposedly fixed following complaint. Not allowed to use large garden pictured in ad. Washer/dryer was terrible. Was told dryer wouldn’t dry clothes and should hang them. Only positive - location was great. Would not recommend the apt. though.

Dear Cyntia, we are sorry you have not enjoyed our facilities, we endevor to improve fruition to offer our guest the most enjoyable stay. Not sure why you complained about access to the cloakroom toilet facility as the appartment offers a full bathroom toilet with glass enclosed bath tab along the corridor next to the master bedroom. As for the fruition to the communal privat gardens we recall you were provided with the safety gate lock combination code.
As for the washer dryer for we indeed advised you the common practice of avoiding to dry completely your clothes to prevent any evebtual damage due to over-dying (this is common practice when both washing and drying functions are included into one compact appliance)
Hope this explanation has mitigated you evident frustration which in good faith we fail to fully comprehend. Hope your experience with us won’t prevent you to use VRBO further and we wish you more pleasant staying with WRBO endorsed facilities in the near future
Kind Regards
This review is a bit late but we stayed for 6 nights at the beginning of April. It myself, my husband, and 18 year old niece. Management was great to deal with and were very flexible when we had to make some changes due to pending train strikes. Located in a residential neighborhood, it was a lovely (less than 10 min) walk to Gloucester Road tube stop. While you are not in the thick of things, the tube stop is on the best tourist lines (Circle, District, and Piccadilly) so convenient to everything. Picadilly takes you to Heathrow without having to change. There is also a Waitrose at the tube stop so you can get groceries.
This is London so there are stairs to be managed down into the flat and up to the cute garden which was the initial selling point. (Very Notting Hill which made my niece very happy.)
Loved having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Plenty of space for 3 and kitchen was nice to have for breakfasts. Would definitively stay again!
Comunicazione eccellente, disponibilità massima x qualche piccolo inconveniente. Tutto ok veramente consigliato!
I was a little surprised to find out this far is on the garden level.
Th flat is ready for a refresh but everything was beautiful and perfect location!
Excellent size for our family of two adults and two children. Well equipped. Waitrose within easy walking distance. Gloucester Road underground and restaurants much closer than expected. Quiet area. We would definitely stay here again.

Great flat. Watch for upcharges
This was a great flat in a convenient location for seeing London. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by. The host communication prior to the stay was slow, then a bit rude. We originally booked for 4 guests. The flat has only two beds and a pull out sofa. Since our "kids" are adults, we would have used all beds including the sofa for 4 of us. We added a 5th about 2 weeks after we booked. The host informed us that we would have to pay $235 pounds extra for the extra guest! When questioned, he claimed it was "required by VRBO" for "extra linens". I host a VRBO so i know this to be untrue. He was slow to respond to my questions, then was rude when I questioned the explanation as to why linens for on extra person would be that much. As it was we still used the same linens and towels, and actually paid $235 extra for two adult siblings to share a double bed. We made it work b/c we had to. Small flat but very clean. Housekeeper that checked us in was lovely. Except for the host communication and the misleading info on the listing, it was the perfect place.
The flat was lovely for our family of 5. The back patio was nice and it was very close to Creswell bus stop and Glouster Station. We would stay there again!
This property worked out great for your family. The tube was a quick walk away (I think 7 minutes) meaning most of the places we wanted to see were within 30 minutes. I really liked the floors in the unit. I thought meeting someone personally at the unit was a bit cumbersome but on the positive when we couldn't find a hairdryer the representative quickly went out to get one, which was appreciated. Surprisingly, this property was quieter then the place we stayed at in Buford. It is a basement unit but we had no issues with noise from above.
The apartment is in a very convenient location with an underground station nearby as well as restaurants, grocery stores, and chemists. It is well furnished and equipped. We appreciated having someone meet us at the apartment when we arrived so that we could get instructions on how to use the appliances and lock up and unlock the entrance doors. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The flat was everything we expected and the location (close to Gloucester Road tube station) made for easy access to all the wonderful experiences the city has to offer!
