Overview

About the property

beautiful 2-bed flat in a historic early 18th century house

This beautiful 2-bed flat in a historic early 18th century house is comfortable and bright with a new kitchen and 300-year old wood panelling and original floors.

It is located in Soho in the beating heart of London's thriving theatre-, shopping and restaurant-district.

Major museums, art galleries, parks, Buckingham Palace, the South Bank, dozens of theatres, cinemas, and all the shopping attractions of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Covent Garden are within fifteen easy walking minutes of the front door.

The rest of London is easily accessible through three near-by tube stops (Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road) and numerous buses.

The flat is on the third floor of a historic (circa 1700') Queen Anne house in Soho. It is newly refurbished to a high standard and has original early 18th century panelling in all the rooms.

Free wifi is available via the flat's dedicated broadband service.

The spacious living room contains a large sleep sofa, a 32'' flat screen TV, and a dining area with chairs and table sitting 4.

The large kitchen has brand new units and appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, double-height fridge freezer, electric oven and gas hob.

The two bedrooms are airy and bright and each contains a double bed (one is slightly smaller than a standard double bed).

NB : The bathroom containing a bath and WC is very compact. There is a separate shower concealed behind the panelling in one of the bedrooms.

The flat is furnished with a mixture of antique and modern furniture and has beautiful polished original wooden floors with oriental and modern rugs.

Soho is a lively area in the evening but our street is relatively quiet as is the flat.

Staying here, visitors can enjoy luxurious accommodation while experiencing the "village" that is the very centre of this great city.

Loved our Soho flat!

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I traveled to London for our first visit last week. I am so glad we booked the 2 bedroom flat right in the heart of Soho. We were able to walk and take the tube to everything. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and washing machine were great. Flora, the manager was incredible! She was extremely helpful to make our stay comfortable and successful. So many special touches too! I met the owners and they made us very welcome as well. I recommend this flat and would definitely return. Thanks!

Perfect and Safe Location for Family Travel

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing trip. Stayed in 2 locations in London and by far this was the most comfortable with hot showers and safe for our teenage daughters.

If you truly want to experience London in a hip neighborhood -this is the place.

Prices are good and the owners are in the building - long time residents which is also comforting. Flora is amazing to work with also.... I cannot say enough good things....

Really enjoyed this experience.

Perfect location and a warm welcome made us feel almost at home!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for four nights during Halloween. The flat is nice and comfortable with two small bedrooms and a small living room. The kitchen was well equipped and Flora brought us fresh bagels, coffee and tea, thanks for that, really nice. Since it was Halloween Flora decorated the hallway and stairs which was were nice and even gave some sweets for the kids! The only downside was the bathroom upstairs, which was a little unconvincing, but there was a shower in one of the bedrooms, so we didn’t use the shower or bathtub upstairs. Also living so central of course can be disturbing when people are wandering home from the nearby pubs and restaurants, some of them shouting and making a lot of noise. We will definitely considering this flat on our next trip to London.

Fantastic location and lovely host

  • 4 of 5

This apartment was perfect for our 2 night stay in London.

The location can't be beat but what really stood out and made it special is the host. Flora was very quick to respond to questions prior to our stay. She was there to meet us upon arrival and show us around the apartment to explain how things worked. A few food items were left for us to enjoy breakfast the next morning without having to go out, and the flowers on the table were a nice touch.

The biggest downside to the apartment for us was the small bathroom upstairs. There's a new shower on the main level of the apartment but you need to go up stairs to use the toilet. The ceiling is sloped so you can't stand up straight and must always watch your head. For a two nights stay this wasn't a big deal but if you are a tall person or staying for some time this could be rather annoying. The floors are quite creaky as well. They are the original floors so they are beautiful but you can't walk around quietly while others are sleeping.

The kitchen was nice and it looked well equipped. The living area and two bedrooms were decent sized. We didn't spend much time in the apartment but it fit our needs perfectly for a quick stay in London.

We were very happy with it. It's a very lovely apartment with lots of character! The location was perfect and Flora was extremely helpful giving us early check in and late checkout which we needed due to a change in personal circumstances. Thank you.
