I had an amazing time. Even my dog was comfortable.

Friendly host, close to beach

We had a great stay at the cozy apartment. The apartment owner greeted us warmly. Everything was in working order. We stayed throughout the week ofChristmas and were surprised by the nightly fireworks, which went late into the night. It’s not the end of the world just something to be aware of. Walking distance to the beach, groceries, several restaurants, and bakery.Be prepared for mosquitoes inside and out, it is an island after all.

I originally booked this stay during a tough time for my family, and in the chaos of last-minute reservations, I only realized later that it was 45 minutes away from where I needed to be. But you know what? I firmly believe things happen for a reason—and I was absolutely right.After long days of making arrangements, this place became my little slice of paradise. Sitting on the wrap-around porch in the evenings was pure heaven, and at first, I thought the gentle background sound was just the wind in the trees. Turns out—it was the ocean waves crashing onto the rocks! That moment of realization was magical. The beach was perfect, and the local food vendors? Let me tell you—the best Alcapurrias, hands down!By the end of our stay, we were already talking about coming back and booking all three floors—that’s how much we enjoyed it, even under the circumstances. Marianela was a fantastic host—super attentive, lightning-fast with replies (day or night), and incredibly helpful with local info. I also appreciated the sense of security, with the property well-lit throughout the night.If I had one tiny suggestion, it would be to have a welcome book with local excursions and instructions on how to book them, plus getting the outdoor BBQ patio ready to go. But honestly? That’s just me being picky. Everything else was just right.Thank you, Marianela, for making our stay so comfortable—I can’t wait to return!

Villa Annette Beach House traces a long history of more than 50 years and remains in family hands for over several generations. It is a place to spend quality time with a healthy spirit. Moreover, we maintain a deep sense of environmental commitment, paying careful regard to the natural resources of the local environment. Additionally, we show consideration for the local animals and their habitat (e.g. cobia, starfish, sea urchins, iguanas, fish, birds, etc.), strongly encouraging guests to contemplate the corals instead of touching them, depositing garbage in the bins, recycling, avoiding noise pollution and restricting audio by listening to music for oneself, while requiring that lights, air conditioners and fans be turned off if unused.
