This property is not as shown on the website. The photos are very old and they advertised a pullout sofa bed that they did not have. The property is in very poor condition, cracks in the bedroom walls and ceilings, dirty rugs, dirty rusty baseboards. Bathtub wall is peeling. They cleaned superficially but really needs a deep clean. The backyard is unkept and you cannot sit outside due to a half dead tree and overgrown shrubs.

We had a really great stay. The location is excellent...walking distance to Scarborough Beach, and close to a lot of other spots in Narragansett. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house, but were comfortable when we did. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and there were beach chairs and a wagon to use.I booked without realizing the house didn't have AC. Temperature wise it never felt hot or stuffy, even on the day there was a heat advisory. The one downside was everything was a bit sticky from the humidity, but no one was overly bothered by this.Sara was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

Great location and setting near Scarborough Beach

We've loved staying in this neighborhood the last few summers - it is so close to the beach, beautiful, friendly, and low-key. This house is nicely practical - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice outdoor spaces on three sides, outdoor shower, and a good kitchen tool supply. It is is two blocks to the beach, with nice greenery all around and nice neighbors. The wear and tear of rental life on the house shows a bit, but the location and setting could not be better.

Totally sufficient beach cottage near a great looooong beach in a quaint well kept neighborhood. Friendly contact person who made her guests feel right at home. We had a lovely time.

Perfect location!

The property is only one and a half blocks from beautiful, sandy Scarborough Beach. The house was fully equipped with sheets, towels, pots and pans, silverware, and beach towels, beach chairs, and a cart for the beach. Although no air conditioning, the breeze from the ocean was enough to cool the house with no problem. There was only one night where it was 85 degrees and no wind that was a bit hot but even that was tolerable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, perfect family vacation!

Narragansett has quickly become our favorite family vacation- this was our first stay at Sara’s family cottage and we loved it! Location is everything and this house is close to everything and in a beautiful, quiet residential area. Well stocked with everything you need, linens, completely stocked kitchen, even a beach cart and chairs! The outdoor shower was a MUST, especially with two young kids, and the walk to the beach was unbeatable... 8 houses from Ocean Drive and Scarborough beach. Nice big bedrooms upstairs and ceiling fans were perfect with the ocean breeze each night. Owner is responsive, communicative, and very accommodating. We hope we can come back and stay next year!

Great location and a very clean cottage.

Situated a short walk from Scarborough Beach in Narragansett. The house was roomy with comfortable beds and a gas stove for cooking. Having visitors in the middle of the week stay with us was no issue for the owners, who live right next door. Bring your own laundry detergent, since they have a washer/drier on the first floor. If I had any complaint, it was the screeming kids right outside the window in some mornings and evenings. But, usually, that wasn't too bad. I would recommend this as a great place to stay. Lots of things to do in South County, RI.

The perfect cottage by the seaside!

This is the perfect cottage to visit for a family seaside vacation! It has absolutely everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. The beach really is right down the street! The cottage is cozy and homey and the owners are friendly and very responsive. This house is even better than I could have hoped! We are definitely coming back next year and hope to make it our regular beach vacation spot for years to come!!!!!

Hope to Return Next Year!

I just got back from renting this house for a week. It was clean, close to the beach and just as described above. I loved having the outdoor shower after coming home from the beach with two small children. They had a beach cart and 2 beach chairs which was a plus since I didn't have to bring mine from home. We would love to rent the place again next year. The only down side is we found the house a little warm. There are no ceiling fans and only 2 small fans in the bedrooms. So I would sugest bringing a few with you if you rent.
