Needs a lot of TLC

This unit is way overdue for an update. The bathroom was TINY. There was a hole behind the toilet, to the studs. The couches were so uncomfortable. The springs were shot. Only 2 plastic chairs on the balcony. The bed was decent. And the location was great! For the price I expected the unit to be better. Nonetheless we had a great trip.

Beautiful stay

Very nice, clean property. Even a windy cold day at the beach is still a good day! Easy check in and check out processes. Had one problem with a neighbor above us, manager was very responsive and handled it quickly and easily.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location great Facilities including pool, elevators and easy beach access perfect Condo great view, clean and excellent appliances But furniture, mainly two sofas had been cleaned and never dried Wet entire time and musty smell so bad one of our family visiting has to leave room I went to office three times to nicely complain and ask for results Staff sweet but only offered excuses Finally on last day they delivered blankets to cover wet sofas I do not believe any decent hotel or condo management would consider that resolving issue Should have been offered different condo or some refund

Great views and easy beach access

This place is just as pictured. Nice and clean and bright. Good location. We rented bikes across the street and had them for our entire stay and locked them up in condo parking lot. Dated bathrooms but clean and functional. Just take the elevator down and your at the beach! Easy.

Perfect Location - OK condo

Condo has new kitchen, but overall is showing its wear and tear (living room furniture and bathrooms). It was also full of sand -the vacuum did not work (mgmt co brought over a new one very fast when I called tho). We'll stay in this high rise again (there are only 2 on 30A on the beach), but maybe not in this unit. Better pool than One Seagrove!

Outdated Condo

Great area but mediocre condo. The condo was extremely outdated. There were many lamps with dead light bulbs, the mirror was not connected to the wall in the master bathroom, and the towel holders were not properly attached to the wall. The patio furniture could use an updating as well.

The floral couch was wet and smelled. Bathrooms needed a facelift. ALL the furniture was worn out. The washer/dryer and tv's were great. Oven did not work.

Outdated unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really love and appreciate how seamless the rental experience itself was (check-in, property info, check-out, etc...). We have rented several different units at Beachcrest for the past 12 years. However, after our most recent visit, unit 906 will be the first to go on our “Do Not Rent” list. Compared to other units at Beachcrest, it was significantly outdated, and the patio furniture was just pitiful. We are grateful for the time we were allowed to spend there but it doesn’t seem right to pay as much for unit 906 as we have for other well renovated units.

Beach Perfect

Really enjoyed the condo. It had everything we needed and was such a great location. The condo itself could definitely use some updating in terms of furniture and apperance, but overall it was fine. We did have one issue with the air conditioning. It was working in every room, but the primary bedroom, so we called the Property Management company. We assume they fixed it, because it was working later in the day, but we never got word that someone was coming or that someone came to fix it. It was nice that you got 2 chairs and umbrella with the condo and private beach access. We had to cut short our stay due to a family emergency and let the property management company know. Unfortunately, they could not credit us any money for the 2 nights we weren't able to stay.

Seriously Outdated and Neglected

This was in a beautiful area with a beautiful beach front and you couldn’t ask for a better location. However, the inside of this condominium was not very good. Had this been a hotel or resort we would have told them to check us into a new room or a different property. The couches were so old and so soiled that we had to place clean sheets over them just to feel safe sitting on them. There was trash, receipts and other things under the couch and bed. The fake plants had so much dust on them that it was clear that they were not getting the attention they needed. And the shower curtain was old, moldy and slimy. There is a boom box under the television that is literally from the 1980s and the pots and pans in the kitchen desperately need to be replaced. This is a property that needs a lot of attention and TLC to get it back up to some semblance of enjoyment. On top of it all we were given a credit to use towards various items and we applied them to renting bikes for the time we were there from a company called Vacayzen. They delivered the bikes supposedly without ever even telling us so we missed a day waiting for them and when we got them the one bike kept having the chain fall off because it was so dry and without lubrication. We called and asked them to replace the bike and they promised they would. They never replaced the bike the entire week! There is a lot of laziness going towards this whole process and it’s unacceptable considering the amount of money that they are charging for a weeks rent! I would look for a similar property that has been updated but I would not stay here ever again.

It is very rough driving into the property. The gate going from the pool to the beach is SO annoying the way everyone slams it all the time. And, the new chairs at the pool are comfortable, however, getting brown chairs are very, very HOT!! These are not deal breakers, just suggestions.

There is a shortage of Lyft and Urber drivers in the area. We recommend setting up airport transportation before you arrive. Many guest in the area rent golf cart to get around in the area. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed here over Spring Break. It was our first time in Seagrove. Positives: The view was amazing!! The condo was very clean. The kitchen looked like it had been updated recently, and was very nice. The owners obviously care about the property. The management company had great communication. The WIFI worked perfectly, and the bedrooms were clean and nice. Parking was easy. The location was perfect for a trip to any nearby location along 30A. Negatives: None, really. If we're nitpicking, the bathrooms could use a bit of updating but they were fine for our expectations. We definitely recommend, and would definitely choose this unit for future trips.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay at Beachcrest usually 2x every year. Love the location - very near Publix, restaurants and shopping. Great gulf front view. Beach service is always good (2 chairs and umbrella setup for each unit). We stayed in #906 this trip. It needs some updates. The sleeper sofa frame is bent and it won’t pull out flat. The bed is in really bad shape. Also, the 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom are falling apart (detached from the frame, mattresses slope down (not level). One bed has a mattress topper on it to try to make it more comfortable.As for the building, it is disappointing that 1 of the 2 elevators did not work the entire time we were there. This also happened in the Spring. Came back to the building with groceries and neither elevator was working. Management said they were working on them both and advised to take the stairs (up 9 floors with groceries). Lots of awkward groups waiting for the 1 elevator. When it does come, some choose not to get on because of social distancing concerns and over crowding. Building documents show the elevators are just 2 years old with a life expectancy of 20 years. They should be working.

We've notified the property manager of the unit of your suggestions for the beds, as we definitely strive to provide the best experiences! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from this condo was our family's very favorite thing! You can look out the sliding doors in the living room and bedroom and feel like you are right on the beach! You have to walk through the pool area and down probably about 40 steps to get to the beach--the walk back up with a lot of beach supplies may be hard for some. The only part that was really rough and needs improvement is the chair reservation system. You get an umbrella and two chairs with your rental, and there is a sign on the beach that says you can't reserve them before 9. But the umbrella guy sets them up early, around 6:30, and people claim their chairs at that time. So, if you want a front row seat, you need to set the alarm on your vacation! They do not enforce the "before-9:00-policy". That was disappointing. The condo is in pretty good shape; it is fairly small, and the bathroom in the master bath is very tiny. There is not much stocked in the kitchen. Overall, the view and distance to the beach is what you are paying for.
