We loved our stay! The room was comfortable and the cantina was fully stocked for cooking and with breakfast items and coffee. It was fun to meet other people staying on the property in the cantina.
This was an amazing stay. We got here in the dark and the right in was amazing under a blanket of stars. You wanna make sure you have your check information saved to your documents or a picture of it because there is no service until you connect to Wi-Fi. We stayed in the bank and it had two beautiful king size beds with a nice front porch facing the wondrous view of mountains in desert. Stargazing is amazing right next to your building. The kids enjoyed hiking up the mountain to the cave. The only regret we have is that we didn’t stay longer.
The Bank had a great front porch with rocking chairs and a fabulous view of the mountains and the sunset. The bed was comfortable, but the room lacked a coffee maker, tissues, and a chair to sit in, though there was a small stool covered in towels. Someone left the last 2 sections of the toilet paper on the roll instead of changing it out for a new one, and the sink still had clumpy soap residue from previous renter. The shower also had mold in it, so I was a bit dissappointed in the amenities for the price.
Our experience was enhanced as we had a blast using the range that is on the grounds! The fire pits were nicely set up with comfortable chairs as was the porch. We'll definitely recommend this place to our friends & come back again for ourselves.

The property is absolutely beautiful, super cozy, and very clean. The communal kitchen was a huge plus, and the scenery was just beautiful! They offer a limited breakfast and have so much to explore on site. Will happily stay here again!
We had a very comfortable stay in the Bank at Ten Bits Ranch! Mid-January air temps were in the 30s, so we made use of the gas fireplace. It was a little challenging to get it started, but very explicit directions were provided. The two king beds were very comfortable. We appreciated having a hot shower with good water pressure, especially since so many of the properties in the area don't even offer a private bathroom as part of the accommodations. The theme of the buildings on the Ranch is really charming, and the surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning. Our hosts communicated very clearly about everything we could possibly need to know about our stay and the surrounding area. We'd highly recommend Ten Bits Ranch as a fun, comfortable place to stay during a visit to Big Bend!
We loved our stay in the bank for our stop at Big Bend. We drove in after dark and wow! What a surprise when we woke up surrounded by the desert scenery in the old west town! The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean but stained from well bottled water use (as expected). Water was provided for drinking/brushing teeth. Beautiful area! Really cool ranch. We were just there for the night but if you have longer I would highly recommend this place!
Exceptional views and tranquility. We stayed at the Bank room; the room was clean and included amenities such as Wi-Fi internet service and screen TV with DirectTV service. However, no cellphone service for AT&T and T-Mobile (Verizon signal was weak and spotty at times). It was great to spend time there with my spouse and adult children. I highly recommend this tucked away oasis to everyone.

I use an AT&T phone at the ranch daily. You need to turn on WIFI calling for all carriers except Verizon.
We loved the place! It was so much fun, clean, easily accessible yet perfectly isolated. The views for sunrise & sunsets and the scenery are amazing. I'd definitely stay there again.

I booked this stay for my dad and I during our trip to Big Bend not knowing what to expect. We absolutely loved our experience at Ten Bits Ranch. It had an old western ghost town vibe that we enjoyed very much. Each cabin had a unique name and set up. Ours was called “The Bank”. The property was surrounded various mountains with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Not to mention an extraordinary view of the stars at night! We even got to see some Barbary Sheep the morning we departed. We would definitely stay here again!

Location, location...perfect night sky viewing, craggy red rocks and mountains surround the guest rooms.
What makes this property unique
550 private acres to hike & explore. Completely off grid property (100% solar powered) with almost no ground lights and some of the darkest night skies in the Big Bend Region. On low moon (dark sky) nights, the stars will surround you like a blanket.
