Gorgeous. Absolutely stunning property that was perfect for our needs. Easy access to Big Bend, Lajitas, and other local attractions. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay
My wife and I and another couple recently spent four nights at the Desert Sky Hideaway, conveniently located near Terlingua Ghost Town. The house is ideally located for exploring Big Bend and Big Bend Ranch. It has an industrial, minimalist interior that perfectly fits its desert environment. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms well-supplied. It also has a spectacular view of the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay there again on a future visit to Big Bend Country.
This was a great location for family visiting the area for a wedding. The home has a perfect layout, beautiful morning sunrise view and nicely stocked with needed items. The road in is a treat! Host is very responsive and helpful.
We love this house. The kitchen is big, and the dining table seats 6. We love stargazing from the porch. We love the location- convenient to the Starlight.
The house was as pictured. We cook a lot of our meals so the well-stocked cookware was a plus as was the propane grill. The stainless steel counters in the kitchen made for easy cleanup. We also liked the large dining area and living room area. We got creative with storage in the queen bedroom but made it work.Showers were great - good water pressure and plenty of hot water for us all.
This property was fantastic for a small group of friends. Great location and user friendly. Plenty of room to accommodate friends and relatives. Will definitely try to stay here again
The house was close to all of our destinations: Big Bend NP, Big Bend Ranch SP, and Terlingua Ghosttown. The house was very clean and had room for everyone to sit and eat and play games together. Also, had a great view of the sunrise and night skies.
Very nice place for a family or friends. The porch is a great view of the sunrise and stars at night. The road to the house is pretty rough but other than that it is perfect!
Walking distance to Starlight Theater, Milagro Coffee and more. Great location for Big Bend National Park. Loved the house, easy to find, very clean and great hosts.
Loved this house! Perfect location. Amazing sunrises! Bring food to cook and enjoy the house and the surroundings. Very spacious and well equipped.

Perfect home base for our short visit to Big Bend. Can comfortably accommodate two couples and two adult children and everything we needed was provided. Hope to return for a longer stay sometime soon.
Awesome stay. Was a little worried about the road in but the house is amazing and the thousand mile view from the front porch made it worth the trek from Houston. Thanks again!
