The rugged off grid Ten Bits Ranch site was chosen for its breathtaking views of the dark sky stars, red craggy rocks and the beautiful sunrise and sunset over the surrounding mountains.
Guests of Ten Bits Ranch may hike and explore over 550 private acres of Ten Bits Ranch land at their leisure. Ten Bits Ranch is your own personal National Park without all the rules and restrictions of hiking the public land.
Guests may have a complimentary self-serve continental breakfast or prepare your own meal 24/7 in the full guest kitchen and dining area in the shared Cantina space.
Ten Bits Ranch is just (20) minutes from the Big Bend National Park entrance and (20) minutes from the historic Terlingua Ghost Town. If you come to Ten Bits Ranch when the moon cycle is dark, after 20 minutes (for your eyes to adjust), the stars will appear to surround you like a blanket. Be sure to watch for shooting stars. There is a shooting star in view at Ten Bits Ranch almost every week. Ten Bits Ranch offers a truly private, unique, off grid, dark sky star gazing experience that few people have the opportunity to see in person. The craggy Chimney Rock Mountain blocks out a beautiful black jagged silhouette in the blanket of stars.
