The Rogue Riverlodge is an excellent choice for that Family reunion, weekend retreat, romantic getaway, short or extended vacation. It was built in 1920 and has been respectfully restored to evoke a time gone by when friends and family enjoyed conversations and the great outdoors. From the deck of this restored old fishing lodge you can relax and reconnect at your pace while you enjoy all the amenities. The Riverlodge grounds are big, situated along 45 BLM acres of fishing banks inaccessible to others and bordered by pristine forest acreage. Riverlodge offers the conveniences of modern living and the charm of a Zane Grey novel. The house has an enclosed porch, living and dinning room space. Its set up with dining service for 10, all linens, Direct TV, horseshoes, frisbee, and other outdoor games. Since 1920 we have been a part of the National Scenic Wilderness Waterway where there is no longer any building allowed. All of our guests leave knowing that they have had a chance to experience an extraordinary home and plan to visit again.
The main house comfortably sleeps up to 7, in 3 bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms. The reservation can expand with an additional 2 bedrooms, shower for sleeping up to 11 if you book the adjacent 'bunk house' for an additional $95/night + $50 cleaning fee. The bunkhouse can be added after your confirmation or at www.vrbo.com/3965094

This is the perfect house for a getaway. It’s just a short walk to the river with great fishing! The deck is perfect for enjoying the river view and the horseshoe pit and frisbee golf was a fun added bonus. Thank you for a great trip!
What a special place! We stayed in December and loved the fireplace, coziness, peacefulness and quiet. The walk to the river and time there was lovely. Beautiful spot… thanks so much!
Everything was great. I only wish my friends wouldn’t have bailed on me, so I could share my hometown and this lovely retreat with them. Thanks for sharing your home with me!

River House Stay
Wonderful location lots of room inside and out. A little chilly for our Thanksgiving weekend. Need more heat in house.
We entered this maze of a rustic cabin on a grand scale and enjoyed every minute. The furnishings and decor are fun, unique, and interesting. The kitchen was well stocked for all the meals that we made. We even did an art project on the big long table in the dining room. The property is large, has plenty of games like horseshoes, frisbee, golf, and tetherball..
We had the best time staying at River Lodge! We had a party of two families and rented the bunkhouse, as well. It worked out perfectly for our group. Our kids loved playing on the property and enjoyed the tether ball and horseshoes. We enjoyed meals and relaxation on the large deck. The location was great; it was rural (which is what we wanted), but easy to get to town and attractions. The river access was perfect. Communication with the owner was prompt and easy. We would love to stay here again!
We had stayed at this property once before and had a wonderful weekend with our grandchildren and daughter-in-law. We did the same for this recent weekend and included her mom and dad. This property is wonderful if you like rustic! The wood smells old. The fireplace is awesome. There are neighbors but there are large fences. There is a bunk house for additional guests if need! We will go back again! We had gorgeous weather.

Historic River House
We had a wonder time. The cabin is equipped extensively. View of the river, beautiful. Fireplace needs work, smokes up house terribly. Maybe chimney needs cleaning. Downstairs door to ouside doesn't close or lock. Besides that we had a great time. Loved the visiting kitties

Thank you for your review and comments. We are sorry to hear that you had trouble with the fireplace. It should not smoke badly so either the flue is closed or there was not enough draft to pull. Maybe additional instructions for guest will help. Also, will check out the door lock. I do hope the rest of your time was enjoyable.

Rustic Charm
This little rustic cabin is a great place to relax and forget about your worries. Small but very acommodating. Easily sleeps 6 with privacy. The futon which sleeps 2 additional persons is located on the entry porch. Although it's river front, it is not directly on the river. There is a bit of a hike and very little river view. A great central location for wine tasting. Well equipped including a large dining table, volleyball net, horseshoe pit, badmitton, tether ball, old roller piano and plenty of room to roam.
Great place to stay, beautiful setting, lots of room and beds. Loved all the little antiques littered through the house. Loved, loved the decor.
Everything we needed. Would use again.
This was our second time staying at the Riverlodge. We had another great relaxing experience. The dogs loved the huge property. Our daughter and son stayed with us at times during our visit. The rustic interior reminds us of the fishing lodges of day gone by but it is filled with amenities and is very comfortable. Great place for a family reunion.
My husband, daughter, bonus daughter ( our kids BFF) and our three dogs drove from southern ca to Klamath falls, picked up my mother in law and then drove to river lodge and met my mom and step dad who drove down from Seattle. The cabin was great and all the games and things are awesome. I only wish that it wasn’t 108 degrees and Smokey from all the fires so we could have spent more time outside on the beautiful deck!
My girlfriend and I stayed here (we rented out both houses) with our friends and our dogs. The dogs had a great time running around, the kitchen was amazing to cook in, and the back patio is where we spent most of our time. It was clean, quiet, and very comfy. For future travelers just a heads up on a few things! 1. KEEP AWAY from the pond! We were walking the property and 2/4 of us got stung by bees around the pond. 2. On a hot day I would not suggest walking your dogs by the river, it got very hot and the sand/rocks were super hot. We never found an area to actually access the water either. It was a wonderful stay and we talked about meeting there again for our next trip!!
We really enjoyed the cabin and the location. We had seven family members and the large table in the dining room and on the deck made it easy to visit with each other and have our meals.
We had a wonderful stay at the River Lodge. The house was very comfortable with plenty of amenities. The kitchen was well stocked and usable. The property was huge with a large grassy space for our dog to run. We took advantage of the large rear deck with river view. Plenty of games, horseshoes, frisbee golf, tether ball to keep active! We’ll definitely be back!!
Beautiful property! The cabin was very rustic with some modern pieces like the professional kitchen sink and stove. A hunting lodge. Large property provided opportunity for walks to the Rivers edge and top of the long driveway. Loved the creaking wood floors. The fireplace was grand in the evenings. The very large and long dining table with the benches fit all of us and our food easily! Lots of hiding places for our two little ones to play hide and seek with their grandfather who was happy to entertain the kids. Made some good memories!
We had a great stay for Spring Break. The house is in a lovely setting with lots of space to enjoy being outdoors. Lots of birdwatching, relaxing, and venturing out to some local state and county parks to be outdoors enjoying nature away from the city for a pandemic vacation. There were games, puzzles, cards, tether ball, frisbee golf, Adirondack chairs, horseshoes, and even a player piano! Great rustic charm and original details in the house and furnishings. Definitely enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful, cozy family Christmas destination! We truly enjoyed this cabin in the woods, on the river. Took several wonderful walks and snuggled by the fire. The hosts are extremely accommodating and helpful. Thank you again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wanted a place near the rogue river and close to our friends family member whom lives in town. This home was very spacious and has a wonderful rustic feel with all the amenities one would need.
The large back deck is where we enjoyed nightly dinners and card games.
Every morning a family of deer could be seen eating the wild blackberries on the property which we picked some when we first arrived and had fresh blackberries pancakes during the week we stayed there.
It’s a wonderful house close to town, rafting ect. The owners were quick to respond via email if we had any questions. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.
We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. Driving into the property we saw a Doe and her 2 babies near by. We spent time playing under the shade of the trees and had a lot of fun in the fresh air. Thank you for sharing this great location with us.
I would recommend this place to friends and family.
This cabin had woodsy charm with a very nice, modern sink and oven/stove. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans to make our holiday stay convenient and relaxing. The setting was lovely, a nice combination of out of the way but within reasonable proximity to supplies. We had the fireplace going constantly and were very cozy and comfortable during our blustery weather stay. Thanks to the Owners for all the nice touches!
