Vacation in Orlando/Kissimmee

Let me start by saying that I would have given cleanliness 5 stars but there were things not wiped down like the banister. Small, but significant to me. The house was beautiful!!! It was exactly as shown. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool and jacuzzi were beautiful and much bigger than we thought it would be. We asked for the pool to be heated and it was marvelous!!! Working with Jose and his team from Deconova was a breeze. They responded right away with any of my questions or concerns. The water park...oh the water park, it was just spectacular!!! The lazy river was great and the kids loved the slides. They have a full bar with delicious cocktails. Tracy the bartender was wonderful!!! Everything was absolutely perfect for our Moms and daughters getaway. We are definitely booking with Jose next year!!! It was so worth it!!!

Rating due to cleanliness and minimal items

The house set up is great. The house has great space and is in a good location. The bedroom set ups allow for a good 2-3 family set up. The rating here is due to cleanliness and minimal items. When we got to the house we had to spend significant time cleaning. We had to wipe down the couch/chairs/floors, rewash dishes/silverware, and also rewash one of the sets of sheets. The wipes we used to wipe down the couch were dark when we were done. The house need a deep clean. The rug in the living area needs a good washing. The floors need a deep clean. The inside of the kitchen drawers needs to be wiped down and cleaned. We had to take the kitchen trash can outside and use the hose to clean it out. There was food and an old wet sock in the bottom under the trash bag that was in there. The house has minimal items. One cooking sheet, just the right amount of towels. We did a lot of laundry to keep up with what everyone needed for towels. Usually there's some salt/pepper available etc. but nothing was left. I would recommend a deep cleaning on the house and better cleaning in between renters, more towels and more items for cooking in the kitchen. Otherwise, the house set up with the number of beds etc. is a great.

Beautiful, but could use a few tweaks…

Overall, it was great because our family was able to be together under the same roof. House is very minimalistic and beautifully decorated. A few things should be considered though…the couch needs a really good cleaning. Lots of stains and wear (it’s nice but not the dirty parts). The rug in the living room needs a REALLY good wash. I have the same one and it’s not that dark. For 10 people to stay 4 days, consider leaving more supplies. The only trash bag in the kitchen was the one in the bin. I had to make a run for toilet paper, more dish soap (because the dishwasher doesn’t work), Lysol wipes, extra paper towels, trash bags were a few items among others. There are a few things around the house that need fixing. I only mention this because of the check in email clearly stating that any damage will be charged back to the renter. Brick wall paper in game room was unglued, one of the pool sticks string was unraveled, bar table in game room was stained, carpet going into the Mickey room is ripped up and we kept stabbing our feet into the wood strip, kitchen island had dents in the paint where the stools get pushed in, plastic cooking spoons had melted edges, a knife had a broken point, no detergent?, limited towels in bathrooms and other things. Tiny chigger looking bugs everywhere. Information provided Can certainly be improved. Not aware we had to check in with security at the gate to register our car to get in through the gate because Waze takes your through another entrance that is always open. One night we ended on the other side (thought it was the same) and we were panicking on how to get in. Door code at checkin was disabled and they gave us a new one. Was just irritating after a long travel day and screaming toddler. Thankfully they have numbers on the email you can call. There is a trash pick up daily! You just leave your bag on the curb and the neighborhood people pick it up. Didn’t know and we have 4 smelly bags. Overall, this is a beautiful place and I love the convenience of the pool and how open the place is. We made it a fun vacation and was definitely a memorable one. Perhaps consider making it more comforting? Deep clean, provide more supplies, allow for dishwasher usage, please! The amount of dishes 10 people produce even while trying to be clean is a lot. Think about allowing people to use the heater for the pool, jacuzzi, and usage of the grill for no additional charge? Seems like something that should be included?

This was my first time renting from you guys had a very good experience would just like to suggest some type of booklet with instructions about everything concerning the house codes and how things work but overall I give it 5star

Cleaners Need to be Taught How to Clean

The house gets a two star rating because of cleanliness. The layout of the house was exactly what me and my sister needed for our two families. Furniture was a little worn, but I guess that is expected since they probably have a high volume of guests. Upon arriving, the cleaners were still at the house "cleaning" even though it was 4pm. They finished cleaning a little past 4pm, which I wouldn't have minded if the house was actually clean. At most they probably mopped and wiped down the countertops. We got settled in and noticed the filthy carpet in the living room. You can tell it hadn't been shampooed in quite some time because it was discolored and had tons of white dog hair and debris on it. The carpets upstairs were also full of hair. My children laid down in the beds and had white dog hair in their hair. I rented the property because I am allergic to animals but when I woke up in the morning, my allergies were bothering me and my face was swollen. Which for me, is an indicator that some sort of pet was definitely laying on the pillows because they weren't feathered. Silverware had to be washed before use even though they were nicely placed in the drawers as if someone had washed it. Lastly, bedding and towels had stains on them. Not sure if they washed those in between stays, but with the hair and stains, it is highly unlikely. Needless to say, we spent majority of our first night adequately cleaning things so we could be comfortable. Sign near door reads that the house was sanitized and fabric freshener was used. Does that mean bedding and towels are not washed???Will not rent for this company again.

Beautiful home, roomy

This is a great house, love the layout and that it had 5 full bathrooms and bedrooms on the main floor as well as upstairs. We used for a virtual conference with 14ppl and the TVs were great as well as the WiFi . There are very few typical accommodations that I’ve seen in other rentals (hardly any kitchen tools/no staples like hand towels, pot holders, blow dryer and there weren’t enough large towels for each person so we had to use the pool towels - we even had to buy a coffee pot though I just assume the last renter had stolen the one they had in the pictures) and the property is in need of some deep cleaning and a few minor fixes that would make it awesome. Overall I would recommend it.
