Many of our guests return because they enjoy the quiet and privacy of Pineapple Village - and the value is great for a property so close to the beach.

We lived in St. Thomas for 20+ years, part of it on sail boats as charter captains. Marc sailed to St.Thomas from his Native Rhode Island, while Marianne, coming from Austria found the islands looking for sailing paradise. Marc founded Blazing Photos, and at one point had 4 One Hour Photo Labs on St. Thomas while also being an active photographer. After moving to Florida we concentrated on our corporate clients and have traveled the world doing photography.
Marianne Blazar purchased this villa in 1989
We first bought in Pineapple Village in 1989. Our children grew up here and enjoyed life in one of the only properties on St. Thomas that is flat, by the ocean, gated, and a community where we actually could walk trick or treading....
After we moved to Florida we kept the property to enjoy the tranquility and laid back atmosphere of Pineapple Village. We travel the world with our clients doing photography and whenever we need rest, serenity, a nice breeze and carribbean way of life we enjoy our vacation home. We renovated our villa to make it a wonderful, cozy experience, while we also equipped it with everything our modern life requires.
Automatic Switch Generator, great furnishings, cable TV in all rooms, friendly and meticulous housekeeping services.
I stayed in the Hibiscus Villa for ten days during the month of January, I must say it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The spacious villa is wonderfully modernized and the attentive housekeeping staff was wonderful. I enjoyed waking up every morning and walking to Pineapple Beach to enjoy my coffee then taking a small four minute walk to Coki Beach to enjoy some amazing snorkeling (Go to Coki in the morning before the cruise ships arrive). The new Wyndham Margaretville property that is built next door adds a great resort quality atmosphere to your stay at Pineapple Village for a fraction of the price. You should definitely rent a car because Pineapple Village is in a great location where you can drive to many amazing beaches in just minutes. I am a Chef and cooked many meals during my stay in the ample kitchen in the Hibiscus Villa. I cannot wait to return!
Stayed January 2016, traveled as a couple
Our family group of eight (including two kids) enjoyed a fabulous week in Blazing Villas. The villa is lovely and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is well-equipped and you have access to gas grill in the patio. Each of the three bedrooms is enormous and has a private full bathroom. We did a lot of cooking on site, but did run into Red Hook to try put a few of their excellent restaurants. The ferry to St John took us to that island for a fun day's outing. Each day we went to a nearby beach - at least three gorgeous beaches are within 10 minutes - Coki Beach, Lindquist Beach and Sapphire Beach... Each a bit different and more lovely than the others. When construction is completed on an adjacent property, there is a convenient and lovely beach right there...we did not swim on Pineapple Beach as it had been neglected due to the construction. One lovely feature is the private, enclosed courtyard / patio with a table; we ate every breakfast in the courtyard - and were delighted with the confinement it afforded for our 20-month-old and five-year-old. They were able to play in the yard and we did not have to worry they would wander off. The lodging included the housekeeping services of Veronica who helped us on several occasions. The home is lovely, sparkling clean and had every amenity we wanted. We've visited the Virgin Islands several times and would love to return to Blazing Villas again.
We were a group of 6--2 retired, 2 teenage boys, and their parents. It was a lovely property with lots of room for all, clean and very comfortable. Well appointed rooms and kitchen, lovely patio.
The large pool was close with few visitors besides us. The beach was close and virtually deserted. It could have been groomed but was still great fun. nice bar/restaurant on the beach, too. Construction was beginning on the resort but did not impede us at all--didn't hear anything.
It was a short walk to Coki beach--gorgeous. We swam and snorkeled. Nice beach--not too busy. Was told to stay away after dark.
Short distance to Red Hook and ferry to St. Thomas, Kmart, and the grocery store. About a half hour into Charlotte Amalie.
There was daily maid service which was not expected. Would definitely stay again and/or recommend.
Our family has stayed at the Blazing Villa several times over past two years. It was always lovely, comfortable and had everything our family of four would have asked for. The villa is spacious and all the bedrooms are tastily decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances. The floor plan is open and well-thought of. The location of the villa is very convenient. It is close to many local attractions and activities.
Marianne and Mark have thought of everything and was wonderful to work with. They were quick to respond to any questions we had while setting up the trip. When we arrived the villa, it was clean and spotless. Veronica took excellent care of the property and was always responsive when we had any questions.
I would recommend this property to family or couples who are looking for a peaceful getaway.

Let me start by saying that we Love Love Loved the Villa!!! It is Fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice and it is just wonderful. We got to stay for 17 days. The rooms are huge and everything is so nicely done. The beds are very comfortable and you will have everything you need for cooking. Veronica the house keeper is Awesome and very friendly and helpful. Close to everything and walking distance to the beach. The snorkeling gear was great and we got to see tons of cool fish, sea turtles, and manta rays. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful villa with everyone. Highly recommend staying here. We didn't even want to leave and we are already planning our return trip and will defiantly be staying here again.
we recently stayed at this villa in June 2010 and can only say "it's spacious and lovely" beyond words.the bedrooms are nicely spaced to allow for quiet and privacy. Plus the beds were excellent. The great room is airy and comfy like home. we found the kitchen to have most everything we needed for the two meals we actually cooked there. although we did pack the frig for breakfasts and lite lunches. We walked to Coki beach several days whilst on the island and found the snorkeling there excellent/ We ate at Fungi's and reccommend the burgers. also a sunset dinner at the Agave Terrace was quite picturesque for our last dinner out. St Thomas is a pretty hilly island but we traveled to several beaches whilst there, and enjoyed the Caribbean sea.
We are within walking distance to Coral World, a fabulous Marine Park. Watch the live reef in the underwater tower or swim with Sea Lions.
